Title says it all... the place where people talk about their religion. If you're an atheist, then just say you're an atheist.

Me, I'm a Roman Catholic, and I believe in what Catholics believe. I like to joke around that I'm an Arceusist and that my religion is Arceusism, but if you guys consider that as sacrilege, well...

I'm beginning to think if everyone here is non-religious (so I won't offend you, I won't call you atheists, okay?)... but there are most probably some religious people out there...

This post is going too far so I'm just gonna tell you what you should post:
    Your religion
    Your personal belief (optional)

I'm an atheist - and I don't see how that term would offend atheists lol...

I believe there is no God, nor any form of deity watching over us. It's a nice story (well....) but it seems to me that God's prejudices are too conveniently human for him to be real and not well-crafted fabrication. Plus TONS of other reasons, but that's the one that's easiest to explain for the purposes of OVP lol

I'm an atheist, and I don't find that offensive.

I don't believe in a higher being, but I still do have speculations of what happens to you when you die. Other than that, I believe in science 100% (Evolution and such).

He said using the term might offend the non-religious, which includes non-religious theists and agnostics, both groups may be offended to be called Atheists.

I am an atheist. I just don't think there's enough evidence, especially concrete evidence, that could substantiate something as big as the existence of God, never mind a specific one. Then there's the way religion has a tendency to contradict established scientific fact...

Very strong Roman Catholic- Liberal. I used to be an atheist, but I had an experience when I was hit point blanc by a tree cut down by a lumberjack. By all rights I should be dead, or at the very least severely disabled, but I heard a voice saying "Get up, *name*, stand firm against death in me." I woke up in a hospital with a Catholic Priest, my family and a few friends. From then, I've always believed in God, and I firmly believe humanity are children of God rather than slaves of him, plus the concept of a God dying for humanity in forgiveness is so romantic and beautiful that I felt it was what a truly benevolent God would do, so I became a Catholic there and then.

I believe in God and I love to read the Bible so I am a Christian.

I'm agnostic in terms of the existence of deities, but I have a full belief in science.

I was raised in a mixed Protestant/Catholic family, so I feel out of place with the rest of them.

Christian, and some label me a fundamentalist. I have a love for logic and rational thought, and if I didn't see a harmonious truth between reality and the Bible I wouldn't continue believing. I also see science (we don't capitalize that yet, do we?) as generally trustworthy, but fallible and subject to personal scrutiny.

Of course it's fallible. The entire point of science is to change and update based on new observations and discoveries, correcting past misconceptions as it goes along; if it were infallible, it wouldn't be science.

People seem to be quick to think that because something is labeled scientific, it has some inherent... something (pardon my tired brain) that means you should believe in what it claims. You still have to ask why and how they arrived at any conclusions or assertions and things like that. I think somewhere in the back of our brains most people know that it's not totally trustworthy, but something about using sciencey buzzwords makes people forget that. I do my best to keep that watchful mindset as a filter for all the information I receive.

Well, typically if something is scientifically proven, it's been extensively tested and is, usually, trustworthy.

Unfortunately tough, a lot of people label their products or services as 'scientifically proven' when it simply isn't true, and the public don't tend to realize what it means anyway. So unless you bother to sit down and do some research, fake 'science' can be hard to spot.

Usually is a long way away from always, though. In some circumstances, 1% unreliability is unacceptable, perfection is always something to strive for even if it's unattainable and a lack of questioning results in perpetuating mistakes. I think it best to keep a little skepticism in my head, just in case there's something I would be concerned with.

A lot of people say I'm crazy when I say that although I'm Christian I don't really have aanything against,in fact I kinda support Darwinism.I just think there are no flaws and that maybe there's a way they can co exist

I believe in both Science and God. And that they co-exist together.
