6th Gen The return of the PWT V. 2.0

Since the last thread died I decided to create a new one on this. The Pokémon World Tournament is said to be held every several years. We know that RSEOrAS(and RGBYFrLg) take place years before B2W2, thus providing the every several years it's held aspect in tact. Do you think the PWT will return in these games? If so in what form? Could you see them integrate it into the main story? If so how? Where do you think they could put it if they do include it?

Also how will they handle Lance and Iris who aren't champions yet? Also since ORAS shares the same spot as FrLg (and originals of course) do you think Koga will appear for the first time since HgSs? Actually do you think they'll even take the time line into mind if they do bring the PWT back?

Also one last thing. Would you like to see an E4 section to the tournament?

Gen. III and Gen. I take place before the events of any of the other main games, and even though the time gaps aren't too wide (at least in terms of Gens. I/III > Gens. II/IV and BW > BW2/XY) it's always possible there were different Leaders--and maybe even Champions--we don't know about. Of course, the Leaders and Champions might've also stayed the same, and I figure that'd be the likelier route to take XD

That being said, I don't think the PWT in BW2 took the timeline (or even the general canon) into mind, as ex-Champions were permitted to take part in the Champions Tournament (though they could've been allowed because they were Champions), Giovanni in the Kanto Leaders Tournament (though he was a Gym Leader at one point, plus Green/Blue was in the Champions Tournament; I personally find it odd he'd show his face for a tournament, but maybe he felt safe in Unova or didn't care anymore or something XD), and Bianca + the ex-Unova Leaders in the Unova Leaders Tournament (again, the ex-leaders were leaders at some point; dunno about Bianca being there other than to maybe make the number of possible participants even, though the number of participants in the Hoenn Leaders Tournament is odd, so Idk). Thus, it's possible Lance and Iris could show up as Champions and Janine/the BW2-exclusive Gym Leaders in their respective regions' Gym Leader Tournaments.

If it were to return, I'd like to see Koga as a Kanto Leader (though it means we'll miss seeing Janine in 3D unless she also takes part) and an E4 Tournament with all the E4 members (barring Koga if he participates in the Kanto Leaders Tournament and Lance if he's in the Champions Tournament). I can't see it being anywhere other than a new area or where the Battle Tower/Frontier was, though if it is there I'd hope the Battle Frontier would be included XD (I'd much rather have the Frontier to the PWT, haha.) Speaking of, it'd be interesting if they had a tournament for the Frontier Brains (Gen. IV ones included)/Subway Bosses/Benga as well, though it might be unlikely (especially if the Frontier returns). If it does end up where the Tower/Frontier were, then it probably wouldn't be integrated into the main story. Only way I think it could be included is if Scott's around and owns or has some relation to it, but even then you wouldn't get to go 'til post-game. Of course, if it's in a new area, then it could be integrated before beating the game.

As for personal preference, I'd be fine with it returning so long as the Frontier returns, too. It'd provide even more post-game content!

Not like it would have any cons to being added, as it's a fun way to rematch gym leaders with much more powerful Pokemon. However, if it replaces Frontier, I'll be pretty sad about it and wish that it didn't exist, haha.

Maybe GF will have the PWT for OrAs and the Frontier will be saved for DE which could come out along with Z as the green version, dragon mascot pair of this generation...I do hope the Frontier is in these games though.

If Delta Emerald becomes reality, I'd be fine with the PWT being in ORAS and the Frontier in DE, though would prefer that the Frontier be in ORAS, haha.

Maybe they can do another separate arena for PWT inside the Battle Frontier? Maybe call it the Battle Arena, to keep it with the theme?

Or they house it at the battle dome, where there is probably enough room for them to have such a big event :P

As one of the most avid Battle Frontier players, I can't lose it here.

PWT would be a nice addition, but I think we're getting into that type of hype where we want to see everything all in one. Not so sure that'll be realized, but I'm welcome to being proven otherwise.
