"OK! Go, Noctowl!" The large owl-like Pokemon appeared out of its ball, flying around in the sky. Already? Kit thought. Geez, I better be up to this...

"Aura! Go!" Aura looked prepared for battle. It seemed as if she didn't care about the Ghosts anymore.

"Noctowl! Foresight!" The Noctowl's eyes glowed for a second, analyzing Aura as it flew around.

"That only works on Ghosts! Aura, Flame Wheel!!!"

(The result in next post XD And yes, Aura knows Flame Wheel, while Krystal knows Bite, if that's all OK.)

(( Yes and yes. I had said before that your pokemon can know anything other than TMs and Hms. But gym leaders can have updated pokemon. ))
 
((wow....i forgot about swift....*facepalm*))

Gah! Why didnt i remember swift can never miss? Sabrina cursed herself. Kadabra fainted from the attack and she withdrew it. "Well, no choice now. Go, Kirlia!". The pokeball opened to reveal a white and green pokemon that had a stance resembling ballet dancing.

"Kirlia! Use Magical Leaf!". And seemingly out of nowhere a strange leaf appeared and flew towards Venemoth and hit him head on.
 
The Flame Wheel hit dead on, knocking the Noctowl out of the sky for a split second. Kit noticed that the Noctowl looked a bit scorched. So, it even burned it, huh... Kit smiled that crooked smile of hers again.

"Shoot!" Falkner cried out. The Noctowl started swooping towards Aura, but stopped. It seemed to be in pain. It was badly burned.

"Aura... Finish it with Quick Attack!" Aura dashed faster than the eye could see, and hit the Noctowl from behind, smashing it down to the ground.

"Noctowl..." Falkner muttered as he made it go back into his PokeBall.

(He does have one more Pokemon; it is evolved, and it will be a whole lot tougher.)
 
Dusty glared at Sabrina, still disgusted. he snapped his fingers, and Venomoth charged with a Giga Impact, smashing into Kirlia.

"Sabrina, this battle is over whether you defeat ONE of my pokemon or not. Your pokemon do not feel respect for you, and you none to them. I will return in three weeks. If your condition does not improve, you WILL be revoked at the title of gym leader. Do you understand me?" he said bluntly.
 
"Go, Pidgeot!" A magnificent bird Pokemon flew out of the ball, gracefully swooped at Aura, and knocked her back against the wall. Aura let out a yelp of pain, then crashed to the ground.

"Aura!" Kit cried out. She rushed to Aura's side. "Oh, Aura..." she muttered. "You've done enough..."

She turned to face Falkner. "OK, then, time for my next Pokemon! Go, Kara!" The Misdreavus Kit had just caught came out of the ball. It stared at the Pidgeot, then hid behind Kit.

"What the...? Kara, you're suppose dto FIGHT the Pidgeot, not HIDE from it! You can't be scared! You're supposed to be the one that SCARES others!" Kit shouted angrily. Kara trembled for a split second, then headed out in front of Kit.

(OK, question: Are the rules bended where Fighting/Normal moves can hit Ghost types, Ghost moves can hit Normal types, Poison moves can hit Steel types, etcetera, or is it still like the video game?)

(( They can hit but it wont do much damage. ))
 
Sabrina was shocked at Dusty's words, but understood. She quietly mutterd "Yes, I understand." she then added on "But next time, i WILL be better! You can count on it!" She then looked at Dom and said "You got yourself a good mentor here kid, do him proud."

((haha, i didnt expect to win anyway. :P))
 
Dusty nearly gave her a blank, emotionless look. He turned to Dom, and said "Let's go!" in a happy bouncy tone.

He bounced out the gym shouting his excitement. He yeled to Dom about how they were going to the game corner in Goldenrod, and then would be going towards the Violet City gym.
 
"Pidgeot, Gust!" The Pokemon began to gather a tornado of wind, then pushed it towards Kara's direction.

"Kara, dodge and use Psybeam!" Kara did as instructed. However, the Pidgeot was quick, so Psybeam only nicked it.

"Dang... We may be in trouble..." Kit groaned.
 
Dom was a little weirded out by Dusty's change in tone suddenly. But he didnt care, he was going to get to go to the Game Corner. Dom had always loved to gamble.

But when they were walking down to the train station he felt something tug on his back pocket. He turned around to find a Teddiusra trying to get the food out of it's pocket. The Teddiursa looked starving. "Huh? Oh hey little guy. You want some food?" Dom handed the pokemon some food and Teddiursa ate it greedily.

" 'Ey! Why are you feedin' that 'ere Teddiursa?!" Some strange man shouted. " That 'ere Pokamon isnt 'upposed to eat a thing 'till he evolves! It's called training!"

Dom was schocked and enraged that somebody would starve their pokemon to evolve it . "No, thats just cruel. Now you feed this starving pokemon right now!"

"And who's gonna make me?" The man said.
 
"Pidgeot! Aerial Ace!" The Pidgeot turned into a great flash of light, and crashed into Kara. Like it did with Aura, it caused Kara to crash into the wall. Although, just as Kara hit the wall, he went right through it.

"Where are you? Show yourself!" Falkner yelled, looking in all directions.

"Kara! Confuse Ray!" Kara suddenly appeared out of thin air, its eyes shining a blood-red color. The Pidgeot suddenly stopped, a dizzy look in its eyes.
 
"I will" said Dusty cheerily. Though his tone was friendly, his atmosphere was threatening.

"If you wish to abuse the pokemon here, then I shall have to put you in a state to where you can't do much with your arms or legs ever gain." he said in a nice, but threatening smile.
 
"Now! Psybeam, again!" Kara focused carefully, blasting the Pidgeot with a multicolored ray of light. The Pidgeot, still confused, started to attack Kara, but then flew by him and crashed into the wall.

"Oh lord..." Falkner sighed as he slapped his head.
 
"Agh! Dusty? The Buzz Kill Prince?!" The man stamered "Uhhh..Umm, you know what? That Teddiursa seems to like you. Why dont you keep it?" He said qucikly, he then muttered under his breath "Dang thing is useless anyway.." He then ran away, as if afraid of Dusty.

"Well then Teddiursa, i guess your mine now." Dom touched a pokeball to Teddiursa's head and the pokemon was caught with no struggle.
 
The Pidgeot flew around dizzily for a bit, then finally crashed into a different wall at great force. The crash caused the tower to shake even more violently, then it was all over.

"Pidgeot... Impressive. I guess you deserve this." Falkner cooly handed Kit a Zephyr Badge. Kit smiled that crooked smile of hers and began to walk away.

"Excellent. Excellent..." A man was standing in front of her, clapping his hands. "Ghost Pokemon are really powerful, you know?"

"Yeah... So?"

"I think you'll do a good job raising your Pokemon." The man smiled, then vanished without a trace.

"Who WAS he?" Kit wondered out loud.

(OK, the crooked smile thing is totally uncreative. And yes, the mystery man is Tama/Falste, who will reveal himself at Slowpoke's Well when Kit gets there.)
 
Dusty smiled at the dominant force of his fame.

"Wow I'm more known than I thought I was." he said embarassedly.

He looked back and saw the pokemon get into the pokeball. His smile went low. "We should bring it to my place." he announced to the young trainer.
 
"O..k? Is there something wrong?" Dom was wondering why Dusty, again, changed moods so quickly. But Dom brushed off that thought for now as he and Dusty changed their path from the Game Corner to Dusty's home.
 
Kit spent the night at the local Pokemon Center (Falkner had given her some extra cash, so she could stay a night), and then early in the morning, she headed out.

After an hour's work of walking, Kit finally reached some kind of cave. "Oh lord..." she muttered.

"Slowpoketail! Get yer fresh Slowpoketail here!" A voice called from behind. Kit turned around to see an oddly-dressed man waving a live Slowpoke tail.

"Ugh! That's HORRIBLE! Cutting off the tails of Slowpoke and selling them!" she exclaimed angrily.

"Yeah, whatcha gonna do about it?" The man glared at her, his mouth in the shape of a sneer.
 
A couple of hours later, they arrived at Dusty's home.

It was located in the heart of Johto, on an unmapped area. The house was the size of a very large mansion. Behind it was a ranch filled with pokemon. More than 330 types to be exact. The front of the house had a large pond in front of it. Inside the pond, a Gyarados and a Milotic resided. They rose out of the water to gret their trainer affectionatly, as well as his newest friend.

"Missy and Donny. Missy is the Gyarados, she's a softy, and Donny is my Milotic, he's the stronghold of the two." he said to Dom.
 
"Nothing, really." Kit smiled a regular smile this time, kicked the guy in the shin, and dashed into the cave, Aura and Krystal trailing behind her.

"Why that little..." the man muttered under his breath. He gritted his teeth, then headed into the cave after her.
