The Setsuko (AKA Lucy) Fan Club

I bet the manga is good. I know you can read it online but I am afraid to read that much on the computer screen. My eyes are bad enough.

Yeah I think you could, but I don't read manga online too much either. It will definitely hurt my eyes if I read manga online for a period of time. I much rather wait til comes here and then I will buy it. Read it in book form. :3
 
I wish manga was cheaper! Its $10 and I can read it in an hour or less.
 
Yeah most of them are in that price. Some of them are lower though, but there are others that are more than $10. Yeah it takes me about hour and half to read a volume. Sometimes two hours because there would be some scenes that I like and I will re-read. So yeah it will take me a little longer. But I think it is best than looking at the computer screen...

Yes, reading it is better....I guess I am just too cheap to buy manga....so when I do get it its used. ^^;;;;

You know there are some people that get those manga scans and color them and make icons. I wish I could do that - its pretty cool ^^
 
Used manga is perfect! But it is also hard to find, but there isn't wrong with that. =D Don't call yourself cheap, you just want to save money. Maybe someday you will buy them brand new though.

Yeah I been seeing a lot people taking manga scans and color them! They use Photoshop or some other progam to do it! It is so cool! I want to learn how to do that. =D And also they use it to make avatars and banners. It is awesome. So I agree with you.
 
Maybe you should look at eBay for used manga. That is where I got my Kare Kano...and sold it....and am not trying to buy it again XD

I don't know if you know this or not but there are some great communities on LJ that show you how to do cool things like that ^^
 
Yeah I think Amazon will have used manga too. I could check it out. Yeah I need to start catching up to the latest volumes, and I am not getting anywhere. If I brought some of the volumes used...whoa...that is a wonderful idea! I will look into this. There are titles I been reading, but I had to put on hold because I had no time or money to get a batch.

I will check on LJ on that too. XD

Oh right now I am watching Ai****eru ze Baby and Honey and Clover. Oh man Ai****eru ze Baby is sooo cute! I love Yuzuyu! She is so adorable. <3 Kippei is awesome too. He is a wonderful big bother towards her. I hope her mom will come back soon. I am going to watch the rest. I really like it. And Honey and Clover is good too.

Yeah so far it is pretty good. Here is a little summary.

Synopsis

Takemoto Yuuta, Mayama Takumi, and Morita Shinobu are college students who share the small apartment. Even though they live in poverty, the three of them are able to obtain pleasure through small things in life. The story follows these characters' life stories as poor college students, as well as their love lives when a short but talented 18 year old girl called Hanamoto Hagumi appears. (Source: ANN)


Yeah I noticed it was one of your favorites. So I thought I will check it out. And so far I love it...and it seems it gets better later. I will continue it, I won't quit!

Oh...I changed my username in MyAnimeList....I go by emishin. AnimeVeteran08 seem too long. So I changed it. Don't get alarmed that you can't find me. I am still there, but I just had a username change. XD

Did you have to make a new list to do that?

Nope. You just go to "My Profile"-> "Edit"-> "Options"-> "Change My Username"

And that is it. But you had to update your links after you change your name though. If you don't, the link won't work.

Yeah it is good. It is pretty funny too. So while I watch Ai****eru ze Baby I will watch some of Honey and Clover after a few episodes of Ai****eru ze Baby. ^^

If you put italics around one of the words in that anime it will show up instead of looking like you cussed. XD Stupid forum censors.

Ah, I was thinking how to do that. Man...dumb forum censors. I was like...what the...I didn't cuss. I need to that when I talk about Aishiteru ze Baby or any anime title that doesn't pass the censors.

LOL, you changed it. Oops, I am sorry about that. XD I didn't even know it didn't have that type of function. Well I probably did, but I was a little worried that if I change my username...my list will be gone too. But nope. I was getting tired of AnimeVeteran08 anyway. It is too long.

Yeah it seems you keep your username everywhere you go. I wish I could have done that. I have tons and tons of usernames I go by in other places.
 
Well shorter usernames are always easier to remember. I changed mine to bakatenshi XD
 
Yeah you are right on that one. I have so many usernames, and some of them all pretty long. But I have no trouble because Firefox will save my username and password, so I don't need to type it in. ^^

Hehe, yeah that seem easier that you changed it now. ^^ I know it was easy for me. XD
 
You should watch Ultra Maniac too its a really good one ^^
