"Since you were so keen on it earlier, how about my blood?" I asked Adrain, now turning a little red. "I mean, I wouldn't want you to starve or anything, and besides, I don't need it!" I exclaimed, that last part meant to sound stupid.

"Simple training. I wouldn't kill anyone without reason." Drizzt assured him as he met him at the door. "Can you please tell me where I can get my schedule? And where I may be able to find a dorm of some sort?" Drizzt asked politely.

"Since you were so keen on it earlier, how about my blood?" he said, turning a little red.
"I mean, I wouldn't want you to starve or anything, and besides, I don't need it!"

Adrian stared at him, at a loss for words again. This guy sure is weird...

"You need it, blood is vital not only to me, but to you too!" she said in a slightly scoldling tone. "besides, I don't know how a cat-human's blood would taste..." she said, ignoring her blurring vision.

"Now, if you'll excuse me..." she said, turning away to go to the kitchens, rubbing her stomach, face clearly in pain.

I chuckled slightly at her comment, and grabbed her arm. "I was kidding, it was a joke! I was really going to give you a blood pack I had swiped from the Red Cross before I came here." Then I paused, thinking how weird that sounded. "If you're curious about why, then don't ask. It's just in my room, a couple of doors down."

Coulin replied "I can fetch you a schedule, boy," growling a bit at the suggested impertinience. I knew for a tough master, harsh and demanding of total obediance, but a fair one. He added "Follow me, both of you. Those wounds need dressing. I'll see to your dorm as well."

David chuckled slightly at her comment, and grabbed her arm, causing Adrian to turn back. "I was kidding, it was a joke! I was really going to give you a blood pack I had swiped from the Red Cross before I came here."

Adrian glared at him momentarily, that was not a funny joke. ?That would be greatly appreciated though?? she replied. It was really rare for a person to be this nice to her, but why would he have blood packs?

?If you're curious about why, then don't ask. It's just in my room, a couple of doors down."

Okay, case closed. she thought, following David to his room.

Thankfully, there were no windows in my room. The only light I had to live by was that of a small lamp, who's lightbulb was now dead. My room was small, about 5 metres across in every direction. I ran over to the little nightside table beside my bed, which was carved out of birch, and opened the drawer on the top. Since I couldn't see, I reached in, feeling for it.

"Ouch!" I cried as I felt something sharp dig into my skin. I yanked my hand out to see that a pin had been dragged along the back of my hand, leaving a scrape that bled slightly. I stuck my hand back in, and pulled out the pack, before walking up to her, and extending my hands, offering the pack.

"My wounds are fine. Let me assure you, they need no attending to. I'll deal with them on my own accord." Drizzt said before looking back to Artemis as to say 'Who is this guy?' then he followed him out the door and hoped the man could give him what he wanted.

Paige was still outside she was a little bored but still content. She smelled the soft grass around her and started to purr. She fell asleep her wiskers twitching slightly. She looked a little worried even in her sleep like some one was harming her.

((OOC - I can see where you're going. ;D))

Adrian walked cautiously into David's room, it was the first time she ever set foot in someone's room... It was suprisingly dark for a human to live in, but she could see even more clearly in the dark... She watching curiously as David ran over to his nightside table, feeling for something. Adrian averted her gaze for a moment, observing her surrondings.

"Ouch!" he suddenly cried, which caused Adrian to gaze at him, slightly worried. He pulled out the pack before walking up to her, and as he walked to her, extending his arms to give her the blood pack, something else caught her eye...

Blood... And it was fresh blood. It was much more appealing than the blood pack.

Disregarding all former comments and thoughts, she began to latch onto his hand and drank deeply.

OOC: I wasn't going anywhere, but that works, XD

IC: I went white as I saw her latch on, not daring to remove her. Just as long as she didn't take all I had, I was okay... right? Right!? The thought of someone drinking my blood began to make me queazy, but I held on, letting her have her fill. "Are you done yet?"

OOC: Really? :paranoid: Yay~ Drama time... >=3

IC: "Are you done yet?"

David's question got her back to her senses, Adrain looked up at him. Shocked.
I am... a monster. she thought, disgusted at herself.
She unlatched herself from his hand, a trickle of blood dripping down her chin.

"I'm sorry..." she whispered, backing away. She ran away, blood pack still in her hand.

"No! Wait!" she heard David call after her.

What was the use anyway... Thinking that I could be accepted? Have friends? she thought bitterly. She was a monster... She ran to her room, flopped on her bed, and started crying. An action she hasn't done for five years....

I trailed Adrian to what I figured was her room, and knocked on the door 4 times. "Adrian, we're all different, that's why we're here." I said, hoping she could hear me through the door. "I mean, I could go through life labelled as a monster, just as you could, but you need to understand. My thoughts of what monsters are, are these: A monster is someone, who treats others badly because of way they appear, or act, instead of what truly makes a person, their thoughts, feelings, intentions, their heart." i then waited, hoping for a reply.

"That" I replied cooly "Is Master Coulin. He's the blademaster here." Looking back over his shoulder, the grizzled old warrior looked over his shoulder and snapped "If I say your wounds need dressing, they need dressing. Hrry it up, both of you."

Drizzt only nodded and followed him silently, being careful to not get on the blademasters' bad side. But he couldn't help but wonder if he was a weaponsmaster as well, or if he only mastered the blade, for Drizzt was alway skilled with a bow, and arrow, as well as casting some spells. One spell happened to be one that healed his wounds, but he didn't say anything to the proud man and just let him lead the way.

Coulin had a spacious office, right next to the arena. The entire office was decorated with instuments of battle. In pride-of place was a massive claymore. The pommel was set with jags, effective for crushing armor. right above the handguard, where the blade began, spikes jutted out. Belying his average size, I'd seen the old warrior move that thing at incredible speeds. He motioned for the two of us to sit down in the hard-backed chairs in front of his massive desk. Swiveling his chair to face the computer set off to the side, he typed in a few commands and quickly had a schedule printed for drizzt. Sliding it across the desk to him, he said "It seems that you are sharing a dorm with Mr. Bonaduce, Mr. Con'tirna. A-block dorm, quite close to the main building, actually. Now, as to those wounds..." He rummaged around in his desk and came up with a roll of bandages.

Nodding at him as he looked down at his schedule and back at his new room mate. He shrugged helplessly, he didn't really want to share a room with someone he considered a rival. But he decided not to protest the mans decision.

With a wiggle of his nose, his wounds were healed but left scabs, but he left a few cuts, to make it look like they had scabed over instead of being healed by magic.

Coulin knew what he was doing, I had to give the old man that, at least. He had us both quickly fixed up. I stood and said "Master Coulin, Drizzt, excuse me. I must meet with Master Eliminster." Bowing, I turned on my heel and exited, heading for Eliminster's quarters in the north tower.
