Technically, that's not really the way to pronounce it. Treat the 'o' in the name as a consonant rather than a vowel, and you'll find that 'Sig no me' sounds more like 'Sig n? me'

Depends on how you pronounce 'nom'. I treat the o in Signomi as a consonant (meaning that you say the letter in just a split second rather than pronounce it for more than a second) whilst I think many others treat it as a vowel because it more or less is one.
Bare in mind that I tried to simplify that as best as I can, so I don't go into another one of my scientific explainations >>;
