6th Gen The Southern Island

I have mixed feelings about it - I really liked it because Latias is one of my favorite Pokémon, so it was nice to get one with 3+ perfect IVs so early in the game to use in the story. At the same time, the nostalgic part of me misses traveling around Hoenn and looking for the roaming Latios/Latias, even if it was pretty frustrating.

I kinda miss that too. Roaming Pokémon are fun to chase down imo, and I've got some pretty nostalgic feelings towards the first time I managed to get Latias in the original Sapphire. I did appreciate getting it so early on, but still, the nostalgia throwback would have been nice too haha.

Still, it probably would have been a lot easier to track down a roaming Latios/Latias with the new flying mechanics (being able to fly straight to any route)
