This was a demo that was leaked in 2018, and has since been dumped and made playable to the public. Within the demo are many Pokemon that were completely lost, redesigned completely, or reworked in later generations. For example, there was a Grass type Eevee evolution in the demo. This Eevee evolution didn't make into the final release of Gold/Silver, but was later reworked into the fourth Generation. I also hear some people theorize the Kurusu line (the water starters in the demo) might have been reworked into the Popplio line. That's not confirmed, however, and is mostly speculation.
Some Pokemon also had their types changed Snubull, for example, was a Psychic type in the demo. I believe Sunflora was also partially a Psychic type Pokemon in the demo. Umbreon was also originally a Poison type instead of a Dark type.
That being said, did anyone play this demo when it was leaked? Please do not link the rom in this thread.
What lost Pokemon in the demo did you wish made it into the games? What are some Pokemon from the demo that are you favorite? Lost or not. And of course, what did you think of the demo?
