I love the evolutions of Tsutaja but my brother wants to get one so I decide to start with my loving original type, water.

Mijumaru, I have to say that I cannot resist it. It looks like a unicorn and I always want to own one for real (in game at least).

Pokabu is cute but as soon as I saw its evolutions.....I do not think I want it anymore......if it just a pokabu and its second evolution are fine.

My brother says that these evolutions of the three starters look even more legendary than Legendary Victini. Does anyone think like my brother did?

Despite my traditional affinity for grass-type starters and my brother's affinity for fire-type starters since we were kids, we both decided independently of eachother that we'd flip around. I love Pokabu's design and his maybe-or-maybe-not evolved forms are kickass imo. My brother, being the /b/tard that he is, has fallen in love with Tsutaaja simply because of the Smugleaf meme, and he loves the maybe-or-maybe-not fully evolved Smugleaf form. XD

...And some people like me spell it tsutarja.
Leave it to Rankurusu to point out that mistake XP

More to the point, I hope that pokabu doesn't end up being fire-fighting. Three generations in a row would be too much.

I agree entirely, while I love Blaziken and Infernape another fire/fighting would be too much.

As for who I'd like? I'm mixed between Tsutaaja and Mijumaru. I like the look of the possible final evolutions of Tsutaaja but Mijumaru's awesome looking otter/narwhal final form is amazing. xP

I was originally going to start with Tsutaja because all the others looked so ugly to me! But now i'm going to start with Mijumaru cos of its awesome looking Final Evo!

As soon as I'd seen the first forms of the starters, I was hooked on Tsutaaja.

But now I've seen Mijumaru's evolution, which is some kind of Otter/SeaLion hybrid, and now that looks like it is well on the way to being one of my favourite Pokemon, I just love it!

Previously I mentioned how I would have my decision when I get to see the full evolution line for the three. Well, if the ones seen so far are really true (which it seems to be leaning to) I'd have to go with Tsutaja still. Its evolutions are pretty decent and I fond a lot of grass types.

My second choice if not Tsutaja or if I decided to restart my file, I would end up choosing Mijumaru. However I'd probably keep it to its second evolution, because the third evolution doesn't really seem to match up. :\ At least the second evolution makes Mijumaru look water/fighting and although I hoped for its full color to be white with the blue coat, it still is all right.

Anyhow, the first time I receive the game I'll be starting with Tsutaja. :)

Sorry but Pokabu is for me. I never really cared for fire type starters until now. I could really care less for its first evolved form, but I really adore it's second. That body just screams, " COME AND GET SOME OF ME!!!!111!1!! IS THAT ALL JOO GOT JAH n00BCAEKS?!?!?!"
So like yeah that's sorta how I am in real life so I guess I can relate.

EDIT: And I really want a Hihi. Sorry about the off-topicness X)

I know right? Pokabu's evolutions seem totally BA. That's why I'm getting a Pokabu.

I actually think that Miju's full evo is based off a Narwhal. If you look at it closely you see it has a similar horn in a similar possition. Makes more sense than a Samurai or a sea lion.

Assuming it's real. The interview with Sigumori and some of his staff highly suggested a Samurai-esque evolution line for Mijumaru.

The way I see it, there's really nothing wrong with Pokabu evolving into another Fire/Fighting. It's a pretty good typing defensively and offensively, and it's nit fair to call it a Blaziken clone because word is that Pokabu is a bulky, defensive pokemon while Blaziken was slow but powerful and Infernape was a glass cannon.

I just love Pokabu's fully evolved form. A fire beard makes anything epic imo. :D

Poke Beach confirmed it is real since the second evos were confirmed real, because the got leaked together.

well it looks like we're not getting any originality with pokabu
Fire/Fighting

Mijumaru---is the best :D nuff said, tsutaja did hold the title of the coolest starter but now that Ive seen the art for its 2nd evo everything fits. Mijumaru for president!

Serebii confirmed that Pokabu is evolving into a fire/fighting pokemon.

If that Pokemon can beat Infernape and Blaziken put together, ill be interested, otherwise, Game freak have totally lost their marbles with ANOTHER fire/fighting starter.
So just because we have another Fire/Fighting Game Freak are ZOMFG INSANE?

Dual types are just a bonus, really. People way too big a deal out of them.

Only making a big deal out of them because this is the third time in a row that we get a Fire/Fighting type. It's pretty ridiculous. Hopefully this new one brings something good to the table, like PokemonMaster97 said. Otherwise, it'll just be useless.
