The Sudden "I love you"

    Imagine this:

    You are at school just minding your own business. You could be in the quietness of the libary or eating lunch with your friends. Then like a the suddeness of a book from nowhere hitting you in the face a person (from the opposite gender) comes to you. You bary know this person but you know this person exist. This person then tells you up stright that they love you.

    Now what will you do? You you perfer this kind of statement from out of nowhere or would you be creeped out by it? Your reaction and opinion of this post them here.

    (This didn't happen to me. I was just studing in the libary and the idea of this just came to me.) (That statement was to clear any ideas from others away haha)
     
    I dunno...It is really surrealistic, I don't think that is going to happen to me...It is more likely that I was in the role of the person who says "I love you"...xD

    Throw away the books on your desk and replace them with her body. Duh...

    And pray that the library isn't so strick with their 'quiet' rules. Otherwise, you would have to cover her mouth during the entire process.
     
    I'd have to have her explain. It doesn't seem correct to just hear right away that someone loves you. For one thing, it may just be an innocent schoolgirl crush.
     
    The most obvious choice to make would be to disregard what she said. Love is a powerful word, and chances are, if she is able to say it as recklessly is she did, her ability in a relationship is debatable. These types of people are not worth my time.
     
    Well O__o;; I would probably look around and see if the guy was talkign to me or shouting to the girl behind me or something XD. Then I'd ask if he was joking, and if he wasn't well I'd be flattered^^.

    Then I'd ruin the already ruined moment by reminding him I don't know him and then invite him to sit by me at the library and get to know him.
     
    I don't know. What I'd say would all depend on the time, place, and who it was, I guess. xD;
    If I didn't know the person at all, I'd be a little creeped out. I'd also take into consideration that he was probably only in love with my looks, seeing as I wouldn't have ever talked to him before. I'd be a little flattered, too...maybe. o.o

    I'd prefer someone not do that anyway, even if I do know them well. :X
     
    it happened to me before...but I took it the wrong way...she came up to me and was like "I....I...I love you..." and I was like"yeap...I love you too"but then she said "no...I'm IN love with you..."then she kisses me on the cheek and walks off....I was confused.then my girlfriend comes outta no where and yells at me(I didn't hear a word she said...meh,actually I wasn't paying attention due to being confused)then red-hot slaps me in the face(which means leaving that red hand print...)then she storms off....again,I was confused...so then after school,I went up to the girl and said"look....you're pretty and all,but I'm taken right now....if anything,I guess you'll have to wait for me.but this relationship I'm in now won't last long, cuz she wants me to get in her pants and I don't do that stuff....so unless you think the same way,just wait,okay?I think you and I may work out fine!"then I walked off....she's my GF now,but I'm still not sure if I said the best things,since I didn't plan ANYTHING out...it all happened right on the spot...and I don't do nirvousness around girls.
     
    Stare for a few minutes, then turn away to smile. I would then ask what aspect about me made the male decide to throw around the word "love". Or perhaps I would be upset because he interrupted my reading/eating time.
     
    I'd probably stutter, then demand if this is a cruel joke. ._.
     
    I would do what I always do... LOOK STUPID! :) Lol, but other than that, I would say, "Er... Cool." I would get to know them a little more, go out with them a couple times. Then if a story starts to unfold, I would go with it, it could turn out real nice.
     
    Well, I'm currently on Homebound for Health Reasons. But back when I was in regular Classes that happened to me a few times. I'd either just ignore them or say some smart Comment like telling them to prove it. Because it's obvious they were always just making fun of me. XP I would never go out with anyone unless I knew them well. XD

    Yes.. I think you are both right to an extent.

    Love is too complicated to be used in a way like that.
     
    I would be rather freaked out. o_0 I've never had anyone tell me that ever though, so I'd be even more freaked out. XD

    Slightly off-topic, but charizard_maa, I'd credit Suta-Raito for the original Charizard/Charmander pic in your banner and sig, as it's her rules and I know she likes people to do that. :)

    No one would.

    And even if they did, they would be lying, or confused or whatever. I doubt it is even possible to love me.
     
    To be honest... I would probably be majorly freaked out. XD I would probably look like O____O and go "oooo...kay?" I'd (hopefully) explain to them I don't feel the same, and wonder about their sanity afterwards. XD;
