I've always found it interesting that in spanish, ch, ll, ?, and rr are considered actual letters instead of just sounds made by accenting or combining certain letters. I like that in portuguese you've invented substitutes for certain letters, though.

In portuguese we have those too we have:

    lh - as in million
    ch - as in sharp
    nh - as in canyon
    rr - as in Navarre

I know theres more I just can't think of them.

Another thing is that in Brazilian Portuguese they do this

D - sounds like G as in different, it sounds like gifferent
T - sometimes sounds like CH, like in Check. As in Batar, it sounds like Bachar

Brazilians are strange, but I LOVE BRASIL

Cool so comparing it to Portuguese it wouldbe

    Spanish/Portuguese
    Yo/Eu ~ Quise/Quis
    Tu/Tu ~ Quisiste/Quiseste *s sounds like z in between two vowels*
    Usted,El, Ella/Voce, Ele, Ela ~ Quiso/Quis
    Nosotros/Nos ~ Quisimos/Quisemos
    Vosotros/Vos ~ Quisisteis/Quisesteis
    Ustedes, Ellos, Ellas/Voces/Eles/Elas ~ Quisieron/Quiseram

Portuguese is a little more complicated, but its real easy.
