Here is where you can discuss actual Team Rocket trio success in "The Thief That Keeps On Thieving!"

    My review to come forthwith.

    I'm watching it right now.

-Yanmega's voice is really cool. Giovanni and the Grunts had cool voices.
-Interesting music that played during the first battle with Yanmega.
    -The Magikarp sub is back!
-Do they always have the music play during the credits?
-Flashbacks of Ash's and Dawn's first captures. Cool.

Overall, a pretty good episode. Time to get off.

Agreed with all of your points. This was definitely one of the better Pokémon introduction episodes.

I'm surprised Giovanni didn't take Yanma. It did know Ancientpower, and as such had a chance to evolve into a Yanmega, probably earlier than the other batch they mentioned. The grunts looked awesome, though. I honestly thought Yanmega was bigger than that. |P

I'm really happy for Team Rocket! This is their third real victory!

I really wish Ash's group didn't make such a big stink over Team Rocket. They are way to high-strung towards them. They're not worth it.

I loved this episode only thing is Musashi can never think she is stronger than the kids if she needs them to a weaken a pokemon for her. XD

Just saw this ep today!! Pretty good, Team Rocket won.
    ................................
    Almost.

And it was pretty cool seeing another Piplup, I wonder if Pipi will evovle?

I doubt Pippi and her Trainer (forgot his name already, heh) will make another appearance in the anime until at least next year. Maybe.

Can't find the episode yet (prefer streaming rather than downloading) but apparently Ted Lewis is voicing Giovanni, the 4Kids person

In Japanese, this episode had Maemuki Roketto Dan in, and predictbly, the dub doesn't keep it which is a shame because it is REALLY cool.

Cool, so it keeps it's Japanese voice!? YES!
The credits always have the instrumental of the opening in the dub (except Battle Frontier) but apprently in the US, they always have an annoucner talking over them. That doesn't happen in the UK (well, it didn't with DP or the few Battle Dimension episodes I've managed to see)

Lucky Brits. I never thought I would say that about Brits on the subject of Pokémon.

With another 4Kids actor there, it makes me happy that PUSA doesn't lie that often.

    Jesse now has a Yanmega.

Really, there isn't much more you could want out of such a defining episode.

    Awesome stuffs was awesome.
    <3 Yanmega.

I thought Craig Blair was voicing him. Rushes to check Bulbapedia.

Yep, it's Lewis. Awesome, as Blair completely sucked at it. Then again, the character only appeared twice since PUSA began?

Okay, this makes me happy. And, apparently, the St Anne writer also wrote this. Double bonus!

It great to see Team Rocket succeede at something for a change, and with such a simple plan. Perhaps Jessie, James and Meowth ought to adhear to the addage KISS, Keep It Simple, Stupid.

Question, what does Team Rocket actually do? They constantly try to steal Pokemon even though it would be far easier to capture them. I get the impression that Giovanni has mucho dinero, but what is the ultimate goal?

"It's the economy, stupid." Heh. Just amused me so.

What ultimate goal are we talking about here? From what I can tell of the anime and their members, it's more the act of "we're bad, we're defying regular convention, so isn't it awesome" besides the usual act of "harness a massive army of Pokemon for global domination."

Of course, the actual organization hasn't been focused on since, what, "The Scheme Team" (unless you want to count on what Cassidy said in "Berate and Switch)?

They're pretty much the vague evil team who just want to take over the world with no specific plans in mind...but eventually Hoenn and then Sinnoh got us evil teams with purpose. Yay!

Team Aqua just made no sense...at least Team Magma had a somewhat understandable objective. And Team Galactic just wanna blow up the universe... *shrug*
