    Have you/your sibling/friend ever written over accidentally, dropped into water, broke, or in some way destroyed a game that you'd spent ages on, achieved some super-hard goal on, or put every once of love into? Well, this is the thread to just let it all out on :D

    My Blue Version that I'd spent 200+ hours on, had my six party team at lv 100 naturally, and had all 151 was destroyed when my brother played it for five minutes D: I also had a Harvest Moon game I'd given my life into was overwritten by my brother (and there were two other save spots >.>). I also had a Gameboy Camera that somehow got into a bag of flour, that became wet, and stopped working D: I'm sure there are worse things than what happened to me. What's your sob story? XD

    Lol, I'm the one who always writes over my brother's stuff. I accidentally deleted his perfect FFX file from the memory card, thinking he had it on our other memory card. Wasn't the case. I don't think he's noticed yet, though, since I'm sure as hell not telling him. XD I also overwrote his FFVII file, too. It wasn't quite perfect, but he'd spent a long time on it. That was accidental too. He never found out. I dread the day when he notices either of these. x_x;;;

    Nothing's really happened to me, though. My brother lost my Nintendogs cartridge, but that's all I can really think of. o_O;

    The worst thing that happend to me was today
    i had a memory card with saves for ff1,ff2,ff4,ff5,ff6,ff7,ff8,and ff9 and the where all close to been completed and my cousin flushed it down the toilet i almost killed him

    The worst thing, or my game, was when my Gold version just stopped working...it was my first pokemon game (then i got yellow) but it was my first pokemon game....then i started playing it again (new game) and i got two badges so i put save...then when i felt like playing again it was gone....everything was erased...so even if i start new game and out save it will always be erased...i still have the gamew just for the memories we used to share :sleeping:

    My perfect Blue Version died on me. T_T; I think it might've been the Super GameBoy (attachment for the SuperNES that allowed you to play GameBoy games on your TV. So...an oldschool GameBoy Player). Because I was playing it on there. Saved. Then I put it in my GameBoy and...gone. T_T;

    My brother's Red Version went cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs too. Sprite and sound glitches galore. My brother's Silver randomly died too. I think my GOld is gone now too.

    Wow, it's all Pokemon isn't it? XD

    I lost my near-perfect Yellow version because I was too lazy to catch the last three that I needed. I opted for my friend's GameShark. He just happened to use the wrong kind of GameShark, and he just happened to type in the wrong code, and he just happened to to claim that he knew a code to get everything back and then totally erased it. @@

    Other than Pokemon... Umm? The Jungle Book for GameBoy. It just stopped playing for some reason.

    When I rented JakX for my PS2, I played it and then it just crashed after a while ON THE SAVE SCREEN! I was forced to do the unthinkable, I had to turn off the system while it was going through this never-ending-save. I quickly checked the memory card, The only file that was corrupted was my Ratchet and Clank data. Talk about bad luck! It was my fave game for my PS2! I erased the JakX data and the corrupt data dissapeared... I started a new game. Guess what happened when I first saved? ALL MY OTHER DATA DISSAPEARED!!! That includes my Star Ocean and Dragon Quest VIII data! Fortunately I've patched things up, my memory card is back to normal, and my Ratchet and Clank game was cleared up(I still have to start again on Star Ocean Though >_<)

    P.S. Hah! no pokemon there!

    Well, my original DS was stolen so I had to replace it, and I was playing Yu-gi-oh Nightmare Troubador, finished it with all the cards, then turned it on and my gamesave was deleted...but I've learned since then: BACK UP ANY GAME SAVE THAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. Unfortunately, this doesn't really apply to GBC games (POKEMON), but it's still handy for GBA/DS games.

    P.S. As far as my Pokemon games go, I've only really lost the clock function...but my Red & Blue still work o.0...

    I lost my FireRed and GBA SP while visiting my relatives in China. My FireRed game had my shiny Groudon and several other shinies and also my Alakazam and Kyogre that I had EV trained so hard on. The stats were almost at the top. :(

    mine has to be when my dads new girlfriend trew out a bag with all my pokemon games in it.. i had spent ages get all 200 pokemon on all of them.

    Myurrr..... My Yellow Version mysteriously disappeared one day about 4 years ago... haven't seen it since.
    My Silver Version was once left out on the coffee table overnight. Next morning, no file, and a LOT of graphical glitches...
    And my Gold Version's save battery is dead, so I can no longer save the game...
    >.<

    Wow, I have a lot of games that have erased because of strange happenings. My perfect Silver version along with my brand new, at the time, GBA fell inside a bowl of soup. I had put it down on top of the sofa, so a little later my brother who used to eat in the living room sat down to eat some soup and when he sat down he moved the sofa enough to make the GBA fall and it landed in his soup never to work again, along with Silver.

    Oh wow. That's really weird. I can understand Silver not working after that, but not he GBA. GameBoys are built to last. There have been some that have been left outside for several seasons and they still work (despite being turned ugly from bad weather).

    ..My stupidish uncle deleted my game with Celebi I got from a Nintendo event(It was special to me though it was my first Nintendo event to get something at)(Also caught Snorlax on that day..)
    But now off teh Nintendo event and also my next door neighbour(I mean old next door neighbour) Yeah..she was only three and she chucked teh game over teh other side of my room and now I can't find it.

    <3 Nica--Lurved that Nintendo event

    For me, I just sponatainiously lost Silver (Nothing to Special, except for Lugia and Typhlosion, lv...About 80-90. I can never get ANYTHING to 100), Red just stopped working (I used Pokemon Stadium to transfer everything over to Blue after it started getting all glitchy), and I let a friend borrow FireRed on the bus (we both have about an hour-long bus ride) and he said he wanted to play some more, and that he'd give it back tommorrow at school. I told him sure, as long as you DO NOT SAVE IT. He was a good friend, so I believed him when he said he'd give it back. The next day, he said the cartridge "went through the wash." Along with the Platinum Angel, Darksteel Collosus, and all 5 Myojin he claimed he had. (Those are all Magic:The Gathering Cards listed. They're rare and good cards, but no one believes he ever had them. But I have them, and I showed everyone, so now they HAVE to believe me. :D Yay, offtopicness!) So, my cartridge with a strong Charizard, 3 legendary birds, Mewtwo, and other good ones are gone. :(

    EDIT: Just turned on Gold (I am bored) and some joker, namely my little brother who doesn't realize what he hath done, DELETED MY FORKING SAVE FILE!!! He. Is. Dead. I had a lvl70ish Umbreon!! >: (

    *Hands over a knife*

    No Mercy.

    You reminded me of something: Has anyone ever lost their Pokemon that were stored on one of the N64 games? Because the majority of my old GSC Pokemon are (thankfully) stored there, but I'm worried about whether or not they can stay there for long...

    It's a battery-backed game pak, so it will die eventually. But, it hsould still be fine, all of my N64 games still work, all the save files are still there. I've have loads more problems with Game Boy games thanb anything else. I think the only N64 game of mine that deleted itself was Banjo-Kazooie.
