Here's the third update! I just defeated Olympia, and spent a little bit of time leveling the team up to level 50, mainly so Shelgon and Sliggoo would evolve! Right now I'm about to begin the endgame storyline with Lysandre, so wish me luck!

-After like 6-7 minutes of searching, i arrived at the top of the bell tower.
-I caught Ho-oh,the ultimate fire-type pokemon,with my master ball (after almost running out of pokeballs and ultraballs and whatnot.). He was named "Sauron".
-Did some changes on my team, I brouht Sauron the Ho=oh to the party instead of Seraphina (Ninetales), and TT Cool J (Tentacool) instead of Zuko (Infernape) for now.
-After a very tedious and boring session of fighting, i've arrived at Victory road...
-Near the exit of Victory road i had to fight my rival, but got defeated. So after eturning to Cherygrove,I swapped Sauron for Zuko because he is too weak to fight these pokemon. I also swapped TT cool J with my red Gyarados, and taught Gyarados all the Water-HMs.
-I CRUSHED that goddamn kid....
-Arrived at the Indigo Plateau (?) and replaced Gyarados with Ho-oh.

Time for the fourth (and probably next to last update) for my Dragon run on Y! The first battle with Lysandre was the hardest, so I guess I figured out how to deal with him by the second (and third..) battle. I went ahead and caught Yveltal so I can send it to my storage copy of X. Anyways, Wulfric was surprisingly easy, because Abomasnow is 4x weak to Fire, and Cryogonal/Avalugg have really poor Defense/Special Defense.

MVP - Definitely Gale. Not only did he end up being the highest leveled member of the team, but he ko'ed all of Steven's team other than Skarmory and Metagross.

LVP - I'd have to go with Wingz. He was frail, fast, but frail. He didn't really have much use once it came down to the come down. His movepool isn't that great, and he was mostly a status effect user earlier on, and then became a brute force user later.


Sooo..... about Facade...... I was bored. Lets leave it at that. Facade isn't a bad move, but still..... not something you'd really need to use against the E4. Did help with Skarmory, though. With the Toxic and all.... Facade.

Now for the final update for my first completed ultimate monotype challenge, under the Gen VI standard! I really enjoyed playing through Pokemon Y with my fantastic team of Dragons! As it usually is with Dragon types, this monotype proved to not be too challenging. Each member of the Elite 4 was relatively easy to beat, and Diantha was surprisingly easy as well! I was very worried for her Gardevoir, but Dragalge survived a Psychic and dealt significant damage before fainting, and Goodra was able to finish it off with Body Slam, since Mega Gardevoir has really insubstantial defense.

bug update:

-the rock gym wasn't actually that hard. rock doesn't actually resist bug, and kricketune can learn rock smash.
-either way, badge get
-I returned and let chimchar be the one KOing most of the stuff in the galactic battle. they resist bug, but for the most part, are weak to fire.
-didn't need an HM slave because kricketune already knows rock smash!
-fought some trainers, including one who said "what's your opinion on bug pokemon?" umm dude, I'm doing a freaking MONOTYPE with them.
-I went to floroma meadow, beat one glameow, one zubat (x1/4 resists bug and fighting), one wurmple, and one silcoon, all owned by team galactic.
-slathered honey on a tree
-galactic base! once the zubat stopped using toxic, it was relatively easy.
-I entered eterna forest!
-caught two wurmple. they both evolved into cascoon.
-caught two more. again, both cascoon.
-bought more pokeballs
-caught two more. ugg, they were cascoon, too.
-finally caught two what evolved into silcoon.
-I evolved silcoon and cascoon into beautifly (nicknamed beautifree) and dustox (nicknamed mothox)
-I had them both learn gust
-I checked on my honey tree
-hiya combee (nicknamed honey)! woo!
-it took 10-15 resets to make it female, but it was worth it... or should be, at least
-I slathered honey on a tree I don't have to go back through eterna forest to get to.
-leveled it from level 5 to level 11
-kricketune learned x-scissor! I changed it's nockname from sfty scizr (safety scissor) to scissor.
-I took on the gym. in it, beautifree grew from level 13 to 14, and honey fom level 11 to 14.

Steel and Fire are, in my opinion the best options for Black 2/White 2. Fire gives you access to Emboar, Magmortar, Arcanine, Flareon, Darmanitan, Simisear, Volcarona, Chandelure, Camerupt, and Ninetales. Steel, on the other hand, gives you the options of Lucario, Magnezone, Steelix, Excadrill, Escavalier, Aggron, Klinklang, Probopass, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, Bisharp, Metagross, and Bronzong. I really enjoy B2/W2 monotypes because you get to play through Unova with more than just Unova Dex Pokemon, and with a lot of Pokemon that aren't easily accessible in other games.

Final Update

Headed over to the Safari Zone and caught Kangaskhan which took forever, also got surf from the dude.
Fly'd to Lavender Town and went south to Route 12, 13, 14 and 15 beating all trainers.
Arrived in Fuchsia City and went south to Routes 19 and 20 defeating more trainers.
Fly'd home and went south to Cinnabar Island as there is no need to run through the Seafoam Islands.
Got the key From the Pokémon Mansion and took on the gym which was easy for Kangaskhan and it's surf.
Done the Sevii Island stuff that needed to be done.
Headed to Viridian Gym, beat it to get my 8th badge.
Now of to the elite four, beat my rival at route 22, he almost killed me.
Headed through all the gates to get to victory road.
Victory road was tough but I made it through.
Arrived at the Indigo Plateau, time to take on the elite four.
After 8 defeats I finally beat them.

First Update for Rock Challenge on Platinum:

-started new file, chose Turtwig as starter
-went through all the mandatory tutorial stuff (it'd be nice if I could skip the how to catch a pokemon tutorial. Game, I've been doing this for 15 years, I know how to catch pokemon)
-made it to Jubilife City, got the Poketch
-Spent a good half hour trying to catch a Geodude with Sturdy in Oreburgh Gate. Finally got one.
-leveled up Geodude on the trainers I skipped
-entered Oreburgh city, went to the mine, caught an Onix
-beat Roark, got first badge. It was easy, as was expected, since you get Rock Smash before the gym and the opposing rock types couldn't do much
-returned to Jubilife, had first battle with Team Galactic Grunts

Turtwig is on the team because I need something that can use Cut, which I will need somewhat soon, and Geodude and Onix are incapable of learning Cut (and I don't think I'll run into a rock type that can learn Cut before I need it). It hasn't battled since I caught Geodude.

Been a long time so I've got a pretty big update on my poison monotype. I went in and defeated Misty pretty handily with Gengar's Thunder and Vileplume's Giga Drain.
After that I proceeded to get the Power Plant back online. I then got the radio card beat up snorlax and made my way to Pewter City.
Brock was defeated with a combination of Qwilfish's Surf, and Vileplume's Giga Drain.
After Brock I made my way to Fushia City and laid the smackdown on Janine with Venomoth's Psychic attacks.
I then made my way to Saffron City and beat down Sabrina with Crobat's Bite, Venomoth's Signal Beam and Gengar's Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse
After beating Sabrina I made my way to the Seafoam Islands and beat Blaine with Qwilfish's Surf and Rollout
On my way back I spoke to Gary to make him return to the gym and then got almost everyone in against Gary. Venomoth's Signal Beam took down Exeggutor, Rhydon was defeated by Vileplume's Giga Drain, Qwilfish Surfed Arcanine, Crobat took down Machamp with Wing Attack, and Gengar Thundered Gyarados and Pidgeot.
So now I have a lvl 58 Weezing, a lvl 58 Crobat, a lvl 58 Qwilfish, a lvl 58 Gengar, a lvl 57 Vileplume, and a lvl 57 Venomoth
