    You decide to go into the underground in hopes of finding some good items. Once down there, you notice you're standing in the middle of a bunch of places to dig, you go crazy, thinking you're about to hit the jackpot, you dig in; "Something pinged into the wall, 4 confirmed. You just start tapping the touch screen, you're halfway there, still seeing nothing, the wall is about to crumble, 2 taps left. you find one sphere. The wall crumbles. You're annoyed, but still ready and willing to dig. You go to another, then another, and another. Still haven't found anything, but still hopeful. You see 3 spots to dig right next to each other. You figure; "Hey, there HAS to be at least 1 heart scale or something."

    You dig in!


    Too bad, they're ALL size 1 spheres. Thanks Nintendo!

    This experience happens to me everyday! 20 spots, more than half are 4 confirmed. And it's only spheres.
    But there's also the times when you find maybe 3 total in the area you're in, and you find 3 heart scales, a couple fossils, and other stuff. But about 70% of the time it's worthless spheres.
     
    Well it is all based on luck you know. I can't get a single heart scale some days and others I get 100s of them.
     
    Oh, I'm in the underground now, searching for this one spot, turns out, it's nowhere, wtf.
     
    really? usually when i go down, i always come up with good items. but thats maybe because is spend my whole gaming time down there XD
     
    I remember the first time I went underground and all I got were size 1-4 spheres, but now what I mainly get are fossils and stones =)

    I agree.

    The constant appearance of the spheres is quite annoying, in my opinion. But I guess they're nice to have if you want to trade them for stuff...otherwise, yeah, they're pretty worthless. It'd be nice to find some other things more commonly, sometimes.
     
    Spheres can die. I want Heart Scales, fossils, and stones. That's all the Underground is good for, and I'd got there more often if there weren't so many spheres.
     
    I really don't give crap about spheres. Because of them I can never find Kabuto's, Anorith's, and Shieldon's fossils..
     
    When I get spheres, I just bury them and get them later, and then continue to dig.
    The Underground is pretty fun, especially when you have friends with you.
     
    I always end up with good items after I finished digging. Couple of Heart Scales,Some Elemental Stones.
    And since I never give anything about spheres I bury 5-20 of them infront of my base then after a long time. I remember them then I dig it up and It ends up 99 Sized Spheres. So that's how I dig. xD.
     
    I do that too, and my bag is full of size 50+ spheres, but I noticed while digging and I see a sphere poking out I don't even bother with it. And when I do dig them up, I start getting better things.
     
    The Underground isn't that bad--I even have a way of passing the spheres. I don't really like getting spheres all that many because there are much more better items to get in the Underground.

    Yeah the spheres can get you furniture and accessories for your Secret Base, but I don't really fancy that too much since I barely even go to my Secret Base. So basically almost all the time, I pass getting the spheres by when I am digging the wall to see what there is, when half the sphere is showing, sometimes I don't even get it. If it's a big sphere, I might, but usually I wouldn't. That way, I'd dig up more of the other items without getting the spheres. Although the only thing is, is that sometimes if all the items are spheres it could get annoying, but I'd learn to deal with it. Other than a lot of spheres showing up, I don't mind the Underground being there--it's a lot of fun, especially when you're bored.
     
    I love the underground (hence my underground shop). I've definitely gotten lucky finding a lot of fossils down there.
     
    I never go in the underground, too annoying to find stuff.
     
    I used the Underground tons in Diamond between christmas and Platinum release, as well as doing the digging guy's missions, and in all that time, plus the rest of the time i had it, i found 1 heart scale, and 1 cranidos fossil.

    I never bothered on Platinum

    It must be all bout luck, coz i'm very unlucky, i get kwl stuff like cars etc. and it all breaks
