Am I the only one that doesn't actually understand Wolf's diagram? Sorry Wolf. My mind isn't equipped for strategic thinking. I'm more the 'aim your guns at the other person and shoot away' type, myself.
Ok I think what wolf intends is to split the forces guarding Frosty Geogre in to two devisions. The larger of the two will retreat back in to Frosty George and the smaller one will flank* the PXS troops. The next action depends on the action the PXS take.
If the PXS attack Frosty George directly then the smaller group will sneak round behind them to attack. This way the PXS are sneak attaced from behind and under attack from protected troops in front.
If the PXS choose to attack the smaller group then the troops inside Frosty George wait until the PXS have been led away from Frosty George and attack. In this situation the PXS will attack a small group of weakly defended targets but be attacked by a much larger force side on.
@ Wolf:
I must say that stratergy 1 seems the better of the two for a few reasons.
If you plan to sneak attack the PXS from behind and then get discovered you will still be able to use statergy 2 as a plan B.
In plan 1 the most of our troops are well defended from the PXS and the few that are not will be under less fire than in plan 2. Putting a small less well defended group in the firing line as in plan 2 will result in more people being hurt or killed than in plan 1. Also plan 2 gives up the major advantage that we have i.e. the wall, resulting in more casulties
Plan 1 also makes sure that no PXS sneak round the forces on the wall side. Which could happen in plan2.
Plan 2 is to disstract the PXS with a force much smaller than their own and they know that you still have a larger force close by.This means that any attempt at a supprise attack it will not work because you have no hidden troops to supprise them with. They will most likely send a small group of soliders to surround the small group and pick them off. Using the remaing forces to assult any troops that leave Frosty George in an attempt to help the small group.
To get every one in to and out of Frosty George would require funnling everyone through the gates twice this would increase the risk for the people as it makes a much bigger target.
Over all I have to say that I think staying inside Frosty George and sneak attacking the PXS from behind is the better plan. Still Wofl plan 1 is a good plan.
I didn't mean to turn that into an essay on millitary stratergies so sorry to all you who found it boring.
* BTW Flank means to sneak round the side, I think flank is a nice word, I hope no one is sneaking up behind me now :paranoid: XD
"We all form a single file and, and charge straight at them, screaming at the top of our lungs! The enemy will b e so flabberghasted that by the time they react, we'll have won!"
Warden: Wow, thanks. I did not find it boring - it was fascinating. Although... are any of you thinking about what the helicopters would be doing? And if PXS splits themselves up as well?
Dreams: Don't forget that we all have to yell "THIS IS FOR SPARTA!" or in this case "THIS IS FOR SHADOW VALLEY!" even though both Ikiji and Sar weren't there.
D: I think they should just give up because we're a bunch of lazy sods that have the makings of Mary-Sueness.. Or we all do an Assassin's Creed, kill their leader and insanity ensues, added with a chase scene and some rooftop jumping. Jesus I love Assassin's Creed.
Srsly, how many members does PXS have? I'm actually surprised with games like Pokémon how a gang recruits so many people to go against mankind/Pokémon. It's craaaazeee.
Sorry I really haven't been on much lately... Drivers training... and laziness :P
Anyway, I have the test today... I have to get an 80% to pass... Which really shouldn't be that hard ;)
Ah, somehow I managed another long post. Seriously, this whole getting-you-character-seriously-wounded thing might be painful to write about, but at least it gives you something to write about. Sar is now unconscious and being carried to the gym.
Dream: If you post your next part before I do, then keep in mind that Sar would be awake at that stage. Just so you know.
Minku: If all the villains in the world just gave up, the world would be a much different place. *sigh* who is the PXS leader? Seriously?
Mira & Liacri: We can't wait for you guys to reveal your secret plan already. Although I think I might know something of what its about. Still...
Sweet: umm... maybe because I told you some things about it? ;)
EVERYONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO HAVE TO MAKE A NEW CHARACTER FOR THE SEQUEL RP OR COME UP WITH SOME HIGHLY IMPRACTICAL COMPLICATED REASON AS TO WHY YOUR CHARACTER ISN'T... GONE, PLEASE REPORT TO WOLFSRAIN'S DITCH/THE GYM!
My plan shall soon be put in motion *laughs manically*
@Sweet;; Knowing Mira... probably some guy who cackles evilly every two seconds and spends his days stroking his cat, somehow also managing to be the evil leader of a large corporation at the same time.
Also, I claim no credit whatsoever for said "secret plan." Unless you count several random phrases and squeals shouted extremely loudly for no apparent reason except for the sake of being loud. Those are all Audrey's fault.
