Update:

-"Officially" went through Olivine.
-Battled through lighthouse
-Crossed to Cianwood and grinded throughout the trip
-Battled Chuck.

Was fairly decent. Easier than Morty, harder than Jasmine. I used Starmie's Surf to finish Primeape and I stalled with Recover and Swift on Poliwrath.

-Flew back to Olivine via some random Pidgey.
-Fought Jasmine after giving her the secretmedicine.

Easy. Starmie's Surf clobbered her team.

-Beat Red Gyrados
-Is Currently training around Lake of Rage area.

- I started a new game, told Birch my name was Kiiroi.
- Moved into my new house and set my clock.
- Went and met my nextdoor neighbour, May.
- Saved Birch from a pokemon with a mudkip.
- Got to keep mudkip, went and batted May.
- Birch gave me 5 pokeballs.
- Caught a bashful natured Zigzagoon lvl 3 and named her Shairi.
- Used a gameshark code to find wild Yanma and caught a Calm natured lvl 2, I named her Robin.
- Did all the usual stuff, including travelling through petalburg woods.
- Trained Shairi and Robin to a nice lvl of 25 each. ( TOOK FOREVER)
- I probably could have beaten Roxanne earlier, but hey i decided on lvl 25.
- Battled Roxanne and won taking minor casualties. (Nosepass sent Robin the the pokecentre)
- Saved Peeko, got pokenav ect.
-Travelled to Dewford, got flash.
- Caught a quirky natured Aron lvl 9 and named him Nuke.
- Caught an Impish natured lvl 6 Makuhita and named him Arny.
- Delivered Steven's letter
- Trained both up to lvl 16, and saved outside of the Dewford gym.

I have started on Crystal. Update coming soon.

Upon further review, my team will be: Jolteon, Donphan, Tauros, Hoothoot (Fly slave lol), Exeggutor, and Beedrill.

Dropped Heracross because his moveset sucks in Gen II, and the other option was hacking in Houndoor, but I need a Pokemon that can learn Fly, so Hoothoot was it. I think it will work out. I thought about hacking in Houndoor, but a need for Fly was greater, and I can use Heracross in Hoenn (Emerald) and Houndoor in Sinnoh (Platinum) if I decide to go that route. Not sure which game I'll be doing for Hoenn, but Platinum is my Sinnoh game at the moment.

Bugsy was easy, so I went to the forest quickly. I headbuted a Noctowl, beaten Witney and Morty easily, and went to Cinnabar eventually...
Got the potion, and defeated Chuck.
Caught an Entei.
Defeated Jasmine, and hot to Mahogany. Caught the Gyarados, and defeated Team rocket, aswell as Pryce. Dealt with Rockets again, caught a Suicune, and now on my way to Blackthorn city.

• After getting the Pokeballs, I caught a Phanpy on Mountain Road. Named him Dan.
• Outside Cherrygrove, I caught a Weedle and named him Blitz.
• Trained up Dan in Sprout Tower. Wasn't too difficult, though I had to heal him a few times.
• Beat Sprout Tower and taught Flash to Leaf.
• Challenged Faulkner with Dan.

• Dan used Defense Curl 6 times against Pidgey, then Tackled Pidgey and Pidgeotto to death.
  
• Made my way through Union Cave after evolving Blitz into Beedrill on the way there. Taught Blitz Swift in the Cave.
• In Azalea, Blitz kicked Team Rocket out of Slowpoke Well, then fought Carl again.

• Challenged the gym with Blitz.

Update #2 for Crystal.

Spoiler:

• Started in Goldenrod.
• So I went and got Gina's number, and five minutes later I got a call from her, and she gave me a Leaf Stone 8D! lol.
• WTF? Dan can't learn DIG!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :(
• Went to challenge Whitney so I could move on.

  Surprisingly easily, actually. Dan was able to Rollout twice for Clefairy, then the third one OHKOed Miltank.
  
  
• Went north, where I killed the Sudowoodo, then entered Ecruteak.
• East of Ecruteak, I caught a Tauros named Touchdown.
• Beat the Kimono Girls and got Surf, which went to Touchdown.
• Evolved Erica at L19, when she learned Confusion.
• Went to Burned Tower, where Carl was waiting.

• After awakening the beasts, I fought Morty.

  Touchdown actually took down Gengar with Surf, as Hypnosis kept missing. Dan finished off the last Haunter for the win.
  
  
• Then I went back to Goldenrod and got Eevee.
• Took forever to get a Ditto to breed him so Jolteon could learn an electric move before the Elite 4 (Thundershock at L16, got Eevee at L20, FAIL).
• Got an egg, and named the newly hatched Eevee Jolt.
• Went to Olivine and went up the Lighthouse.
• Surfed to Cianwood, where I found Suicune, and Eusine wanted to battle me.

  He's not very good here, and Touchdown was kicking butt with Strength.
  
  
• Took on the gym next.

  Chuck wasn't hard at all. DynamicPunch misshed twice in a row, and 3 Strengths was enough for Touchdown to take Poliwrath out.
  
  
• I flew back to Ecruteak with Heights (Hoothoot), where I went up to Lake of Rage. Dan evolved into Donphan.
• After killing Gyarados, I talked to Lance, then flew to Cherrygrove, where I went to Mr. Pokemon's house and got the Exp. Share.
• I then got impatient, since Lass Dana had called me 5 times without giving me a Thunderstone, so I hacked in one at the PokeMart.
• Evolved Jolt into Joteon and he learned Thundershock. Also taught him Hidden Power, which is a Steel move I think lol.
• Took out TR in their Hideout, then challenged the gym.

  Piloswine took down Jolt, so Touchdown finished the fight.
  
  
• Then I waited for the call from Elm about Goldenrod, but it never came. Then I realized that I forgot to beat Jasmine, so I went and did that.

  Erica took out the first Magnemite, then Steelix took out Erica and Touchdown thanks to a Hyper Potion from Jasmine. Surf did good damage, though, so Dan was able to finish him off, then OHKOed Magnemite with a crit Mud-Slap.
  
  
• Got the call from Elm, so I can take on TR in the Radio Tower.

Picked Pokabu/Tepig as starter. Named it Haibu.
Caught the first Yorterrie I saw and it was Adamant with Pickup! O.O Niiice! Nicknamed him Puppy. Also caught cut slave Minezumi.
Went through all the boring beginning stuff.
Got to Sanyou City, hung a right and was given a Yanappu/Pansage. Also Adamant! O.O

Killed a dozen or so Tabunne and challenged Corn. Wiped the floor with him. :) Didn't lose a single Pokemon! Blah blah blah Makomo stuff.

Travelled to Shippou City, killed another dozen or so Tabunne. Kicked the snot out of the gym trainers, now challenging Aloe.
