When did you first decide you liked Vulpix and Ninetales?
When I first saw it. I've liked foxes since before Pokemon so I instantly fell in love with it when I saw it.

I don't think so. I think the Ninetales legend was based upon a nine-tailed fox legend. Since Vulpix only has six tails I don't think it would.
But on the other hand, I also agree with Soulflame Ninetales on that it might be able to because it evolves into Ninetales, but not for as long or not as powerful.

Yes, I would think so. The Ninetales legend possibly carries on down to Vulpix and as they are related.... I would think so...

I think that Vulpix's tail and Ninetales tails are different so it wont be possible.

I think that Ninetales' legend was based on a real legend that was based on a fox with nine tails. Considering this, I don't think that Vulpix would curse you because as far as I know there is nothing about a fox with six tails.

Don't think so. As everyone else had said, the curse about touching one of Ninetale's tails was based on the legend of the nine-tailed fox. I believe that no such thing exists for a Vulpix... But it is possible, maybe for a more developed and mature Vulpix, to attain a similar, perhaps a weaker curse.

I have a topic but it's only about Vulpix. Would you say that Vulpixe's six tails make it what it is? Because like Ninetales' name is actually Nine Tails, it's not like Vulpix's name is Six Tails.

Seems the topic has split people in a way and some people just can't decide!

Btw nearly finish that little descrition of possibles of curses that Ninetales might have, It mainly based on what I've have seen from the fiction on fanfiction.net as well as some generic ideas. Don't be suprised if some of the curse involve some of transformation in it, since after all i write transformation fics, but i've tried to control myself and come up wiuth a well-rounded set of curses. Should be finished some point today hopefully.

I don't know if I would be game to pull a vulpix's tail, unless everybody is gonna to support me if something bad does happen :)

Usually Ninetales aren't evil but they can be very vengeful. Revenge isn't necessary an evil act thro it ain't a good one either.

I doubt that a Vulpix would, or even would have the capacity to use a kill curse ;) However It could flamethrower you to death.
