When Alvender awoke from his peaceful slumber, the sun had began to rise, and the starry night sky was well hidden by the time Alvender had sat up on the couch. With a silent yawn, Alvender looked around, forgetting what he was doing on the couch. Why wasn't he in his own bed?

Looking over at the bed, yesterday's events came back to the elf, as he remembered the accident with Quasak, and then carrying Skye to his room. Alvender just got up and stretched, making sure not to wake up Skye as he walked over to a table and chairs that was oriented close to the door. With a nodd of his head, a cup of freshly brewed herbal tea appeared on the table.

Alvender normally didn't have time for a cup of tea, but he had time, since he had to wait for Skye to get up, so he could set all his traps on his door again, as well as get ready for lessens. Sitting there, Alvender silently waited for Skye to wake up and scream in surprise, and get all upset because she was in his room, and all the stuff that went with it. This morning was going to be a long one Alvender assumed as he continued to silently sip at his tea.

Yukiko was the first to stir, her great blue eyes as alert as if she had been awake for a few hours. She looked around the room keenly, sharing her thoughts with the slumbering Skye as she usually did...her method to wake her partner. The dragon looked over at Alvender, a kind of warm appreciation in her eyes.

Thank you for protecting her when I could not, the dragon said to him, bowing respectfully.

Skye rolled over, her indigo eyes slowly sliding open. She looked over at Alvender with a tired smile, conciousness slowly creeping its way into her body. She rubbed her eyes and stretched, finally sitting up, looking refreshed.

"Morning," she said casually. "Sorry for being a bother last night..."

Alvender nodded to Yukiko, and before he had any time to carry on a conversation with the dragon, Skye was up and talking.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Alvender teased as he took a sip of his tea. "You weren't any bother to me. I should be the one to apologize, I took you to my room, instead of taking you to your own. I figured I'd get lost, since I had no clue where it was and I've only been there once. I also figured we were both tired, you were asleep even before I reached my room, and if you woke up suddenly needing something, I'd be right there by your side. I didn't know what that little stunt took out of your already fatiqued body," Alvender explained with little more than a shrug.

"Come sit down, I prepared another tea. This might be the only time we get alone, and get to relax at the same time," Alvender said as he pointed to the steaming tea on the other side of the small square table.

Sun Xeng came out side and met up with his new instructor Orphen.
"Hello Sun Xeng You ready for some Magicaal attacks?" He asked him smiling at him.
"Yes sir i'm as ready as ever" He said. Sun xeng first ever lesson with orphen. He was excited and nervous but was ready for training.

Skye chuckled and joined him at the table, sipping her tea gingerly. Whatever grogginess was left from her slumber cleared almost immediately. Yukiko curled around her shoulders, smelling the tea curiously.

"So how are you these days?" she asked genuinely. It was true they hand't been able to hold a normal conversation for a while without being interrupted by something.

"It's only been a day. This is our third day at the academy," Alvender reminded her with a light-hearted chuckle. Alvender thought a minute and the sighed, "I guess I've been doing good, considering what's gone on in our short time together."

Alvender then sat back, and slouched in his chair. It was true, since they had meant, neither of them had any time that allowed for them to just enjoy each other's company. Alvender looked from his cup to Skye, a passion burning in his eyes, though subtle, there was still signs. Although sitting there just enjoying her company was alittle unnerving to him, since he wasn't used to not talking.

Skye sipped her tea, and caught Alvender's eyes. There was something different about the way he was looking at her. She felt her cheeks turning a light shade of pink. Yukiko made an expression that very much resembled a smirk, and leapt off Skye's shoulders, taking to the door. The little dragon cast a mischevious glance over her shoulder as she left the room, leaving Skye looking rather confused.

"THat was weird..." she said to no one in particular. The little dragon had given her no inclination as to where she was headed, but made it fairly clear that she was leaving the two of them be for a while.

Skye took to sipping her tea, which was nearly gone, for which she was most displeased. At least the tea was some sort of distraction. She wanted nothing more than to simply be there with him, oddly, to her at least, to be in the comfort of his arms, to just exist without the troubles of the world upon them. There was no way she would move from her seat. She took to fidgeting with her empty mug, feeling at an odd loss for words.

OOC: I'm sorry but I'm pulling out of this rpg...it's all about Sky and Raichu Master now and it's bugging me!

OOC: It bugs me to.. I'm leaving... nothing is happening...

OOC: Oy...I'm confused. You were all perfectly welcome to RP with RM and I...I don't understand what the problem is. And in case anyone's noticed, the person who started the thread hasn't visited it in quite some time. I didn't see anyone else making suggestions for the plot line.

I'd like to continue...RM...you with me?

OOC: Right behind ya! ;)

IC: Alvender seemed extremely interested in his cup all of a sudden, it wasn't anything near as good as what his family made, in fact the tea tasted down right awful, he thought. Judging by the looks on Skye's face, she didn't like it either, could he blame her?

"I think I should stick with my sword skills..." Alvender said conversationally, with another light-hearted laugh at himself. "I was never any good at making tea," Alvender shruged as he snapped the cups away, leaving the two to stare at each other.

Alvender, who suddenly regretted what he did, turned a subtle redish pinkish color. He remembered just how uncomfortable he was when it came to uneasy silence, even if it wasn't uneasy, he sure felt uneasy. Nevertheless, the steady passion in his eyes steadly burned brighter, despite himself. And without thinking, without planning it, Alvender reached across the small table and kissed her.

When he parted, he just stared in shock. He had did that once, but he was even more surprised at himself, since he was so nervous just meer seconds ago.

Skye sat back in silent suprise as the kiss ended, feeling her cheeks heat up. Her indigo eyes were slightly wider than normal, but she was smiling. She reached her hand across the table for his, feeling oddly scared. It felt like there were a million squirming bugs running amok in her stomach.

"Alvender....I..." she became silent as she was alerted to an unwelcome presence near the academy through Yukiko's mind. Her expression immediately turned to one of keen alertness, and she rose from her chair. "THere's something approaching the castle....feels like....a herd of dragons....looks like our little school isn't much of a secret anymore. We'd better get out there."

Alvender sighed, "As I was saying." Alvender then got to his feet, almost knocking the chair that he was sitting on down off it's feet. "Accio wand" Alvender said throwing out his hand and pointing toward a cabnet that held all the weapons that the Academy gave him. "Let's go," Alvender said as he sprinted out the door and out of the academy.

"Sectumsempra!" Alvender roared as he charged out of the academy, wand pointed at the dragons. He hated flying, so to get on his dragon made no sense, and since he couldn't use his weapons, a wand was the next best thing.

Sadly, nothing happened, causing Alvender to flinch for a few seconds. 'Quasak, alittle help here!' Alvender yelled to his dragon, who was already taking flight, to intercept the dragons.

'Oh...right,' Quasak replied as he linked their minds and began to feed his magic into Alvender.

Alvender was pleased to find the magic coursing through his veins, and waited for Skye, who no doubt would be on dragonback.

Skye was sprinting down the hallway, joined by some teachers and fellow students. She raced down the hallway, intercepting Yukiko, who had gown to the size of a horse. Skye climbed onto her back in mid sprint, and the two of them made for the doorway, Yukiko reaching her full size when they reached the outside.

"Alright, Alvender?" she called, though her focus was on the dragons, who were busy throwing flames in any direction possible.

Yukiko took to the air, Skye holding her wizzarding staff in her hands, her mind and Yukiko's focused as one. They moved as a team, working flawlessly together. Skye cast spells all over the place, using every reserve she had. She managed to knock a few dragons out of the air. There were still seven remaining.

"Where are their riders...?" she asked herself. "Is this a...diversion...?"

Yukiko agreed with her thought, and the two of them sped back towards the academy, suspicions growing. She found a small band of spies working their way into the opposite side of the academy, unnoticed by the majority of its inhabitants, who were busy with the dragons. The spies saw her, however, and a shower of arrows welcomed her to their presences. Yukiko managed to dodge them, and Skye sent half a dozen spells their way in an attempt to immobilize them.

As she approached them, she saw one looking rather intently at her, and suddenly felt Yukiko's mind leave hers. She panicked, which gave the enemies some avantage time. They shot more arrows in her direction. Skye, whose mind was frantically searching for Yukiko's, and Yukiko, whose mind was searching for Skye's, had slow reaction time. Yukiko took an arrow to her left shoulder, her pure white fur staining crimson.

Skye let out a scream of rage, and fired a very powerful immobilization spell at the enemy who had been looking so intently at her. He lay still on the grass. As Yukiko tried to land in a way that wouldn't injure either of them further, Skye remembered the ring on her finger.

"Alvender?!"

Alvender raised his wand, staring intently on a dragon that was charging toward him. Just before he could yell out a spell, he heard a popping noise, and the next thing he knew he was knelt by her side. Alvender looked completely disoriented as he stared at yukiko and then back at Skye as if to ask, what's wrong? He had thought the fighting was with the dragons...dragons don't use arrows. Looking over Yukiko, Alvender found his answer, several armed men were staring menacingly back at him.

Alvender debated for a few seconds on whether to use his wand, which aloud him to use the spell he was going to, which acted like a sword anyway. Or call his sword and go charging head long into battle.

Then something hit him, he had realized something. These dragons, these men...they all worked for...shaking his head Alvender muttered, "It couldn't be..."

"HAND OF PYRO" Sun Xeng yelled charging straight at the dragons with orphen next to him. He shot the blast straight at the dragon and knocked it away.

"ALVENDER, SKYE!?" He screamed frightened that they were hurt. He saw Alvender who was staring up.
"Whats wrong Alvender?" He asked curiously looking in the same direction at all the men facing them.

OOC: Um....we're on the other side of the academy. The dragons were a diversion, so unless your character has telekenetic ability, he probably wouldn't be aware of the spies.

IC: Skye had never felt so much pain in her entire life. She and Yukiko, their minds linked once again, shared the pain of the arrow wound. Skye clutched at her shoulder, dizzy with pain. She looked over at Yukiko, each having the same thought.

"We have to sever the link....one of us has to keep fighting."

Tears in her eyes more for her loss than the pain she was under, Skye closed her mind off, feeling the dark, cold dread of being entirely alone within her mind. She feltisolated, inferior, intimidated, but she held her staff and stood her ground with Alvender. Yukiko shrank to her smallest size, and Skye scooped the dragon up. She tore a piece of her sleeve and wrapped Yukiko's wound quickly, depositing the dragon into her hood, and wanted so badly to hear what the dragon was thinking and feeling.

Holding her staff, she cast spells to take the spies out as quickly as possible, but not kill them, as having them as captives might yeild information. She worked alongside Alvender, dodging attacks, firing her own, wondering endlessly if the furry white dragon inside her hood was okay.

"Sectumsempra!" Alvender yelled as he started slashing his wand in the air. One by one, the spies fell bleeding when the wand had just slashed.

"Skye! Are you alright?" Alvender said as he sidestepped and arrow, and took time to look over at Skye.

OOC: Sorry for the lack of rping skills...my mind is elsewhere...

"I'm....okay," Skye assured him, though in reality she was absolutely frightened. She cast a shield charm around herself and Alvender, and continued to fight.

Most of their foes fell, leaving three remaining, one of them appearing to be a very skilled wizzard. The other two looked to have survived out of dumb luck. Skye gritted her teeth, and focused her mind. She did not have nearly as much strength as she did when Yukiko's mind was linked to hers, but she would have to make do on her own skills.

From behind them, a massive clawed paw came smashing through Skye's sheild, and pinning her to the ground. She felt the claws close around her, and gave a yelp of suprise as she was yanked into the air. She clutched her staff tightly, but was unable to move of focus herself. She hoped the impact had not squished Yukiko. Small movements in her hood told her the little dragon was still alive. Up into the air they went, Skye cursing herself for not being more alert. She watched Alvender helplessly as he took on the remaining foes.

Taking his eyes off Skye, Alvender was about to cast another spell, but then slowly and confidently dropped his wand to his side and smirked. The wizard took no time to ponder what the elf was doing and started through the motions of a death spell. The other two looked surprised as they turned to look at each other and then to Alvender.

Without so much as a roar, Quasak came down and flattened all of the spies with his feet, and gave a loud roar in response. "Fools..." Alvender muttered and then was thrown headlong into the grass, as a dragon took hold of Skye and flew off.

"Avada Kedavr-" Alvender got almost to his complete his death spell, when he stopped. He didn't want to take a chance on hitting Skye.

Swallowing hard, determined not to let his fears get a hold on him, Alvender let out a loud whistle, and jumped up into the air. Quasak, who was only a few feet away from Alvender swooped up under him, and Alvender landed safely on his back. Taking another hard swallow, Alvender let Quasak fly at top speeds to try and catch up with the dragon that had Skye.
