Is it WAAAY too late for an old RPer to join?

OOC: Well, anyone mind helping me out on what's going on?
 
Name: Lilan
Nickname: Lilly
Age: 19
Appearance: Lily has short, spiked black hair, the ends of which are dyed a bright red. Her eyes burn with the same, red color as her hair. She's a small girl who normally wears black clothes, and a midnight colored cloak.
Skills: Lilan is very adept at elemental control and healing. She's also pretty good with her staff
Personality: She is considered evil because of her dark demeaner and quiet personality, but she is really just misunderstood. SHe's never had a real friend, other than her deep green dragon, Dapis.
Village: Falalarbor Village
What you will study: Wizard
Major: Spells
Special Power: healing
Pet: deep green dragon. Dapis is a size shifter (Skye's idea, but I just love it!), and is often seen riding her Lily's pack.
Name of Pet: Dapis

Okay, I'll give it a couple of posts before I make my grand entrence!
 
Name: Rhai
Nickname: Rhai
Age: 17
Appearance: A set of triplets, Rhai is closer to seven feet than six, with a gangly frame. His hair is black with reddish tints, and kept rather short. No one has ever quite been able to tell whether his eyes are blue or violet, it seems to depend on the light. He dresses rather flamboyantly with a short purple vest, trousers that are perhaps indecently tight, and a hat with a large feather stuck in it.
Skills: Rhai was born with extrodinary magical talent, as were his brothers, but he let it fall into disuse, preferring the warrior arts to the arcane. He's particularly skilled with throwing knives and the naginata, a bladed staff.
Personality: Unlike his two brothers, Rhai somehow found the courage to truly leave his family. As such, he is not distant, as are his siblings. Indeed, he's very personable, though some take this as a front disguising his manipulations. To some extent, they're right. He doesn't do so for personal gain, though, he just likes changing the flow of events.
Village: Kaze Village
What you will study: Warrior
Major: Swordfighting, if his particular style can be called that.
Special Power: His stagnated magical abilities can lash out when he needs them. The downside: the effects are totally unpredictable.
Pet: Falcon
Name of Pet: Tsuchino
 
"Faster!" Alvender exclaimed as it felt like they weren't closing the gap between themselves and Skye.

'I'm going as fast as I can with out snapping your neck,' Quasak explained as he tried to keep from getting any faster.

Alvender didn't care, it was true it was hard to breath, and he could hardly keep from falling off. He was gripping to his dragon as hard as he could, he didn't like fly, and he had a constant fear of heights, so this wasn't a fun experience for him. "I don't care!" Alvender snapped as he braced as they dodged a few fireballs that came at them from the side.

'Hang on then,' Quasak grunted as he sped up. Gradually everything around Alvender became a blurr, and he found it funny that he couldn't hear anything, like he suddenly became deaf. Then it happened, Alvender's head flung back, almost snapping in half, causeing Alvender's grip to slip. Alvender closed his eyes and crawled slowly back up to Quasak's neck, trying to resist the urge to let go.
 
I had had enough watching. Let's go, Dapis, we can't sit here any longer.

The dragon let out a roar in reply and sped off. I let my arms slip around the man on another dragon. I quickly assessed that he had a neck injury. Pulling him on to Dapis with me, I placed my hand on his neck, letting an amount of golden healing energy flow into him. I quickly fused flesh to flesh and bone to bone. I couldn't wait to see if he was alright, as a range of fireballs were quickly coming at us.

"Nothing is ever easy," I muttered darkly, clinging to Dapis as he rolled in mid-air.
 
Walking onto the grounds, I gave a semi-bemused grin, looking at the ongoing battle. Looking at Tsuchino quickly I said, "Looks like we arrived at a bad time. Maybe we should wait until next semester starts?" The preternaturally intelligent bird cocked his head at me and said telepathically, Now really, Rhai. I understand how you might have inherited your father's sense of humor, but you can't be serious about that.

I sighed and said, "You're right." Hefting my naginata, I looked at him with the same grin. "But how am I supposed to fight a drgon that's in the middle of the bloody air? I mean..." Telepathic laughter was disturbing. He said, I'll get in touch with a friendly with filght capibility. I nodded, a wide grin on my face at the prospect of battle.
 
Skye fought her right arm loose of the dragon's grip, her white staff gleaming determinedly in the moonlight. She swung her arm in the air, aiming a spell at her captive's face, firing a strong blast of white energy at it, hitting it square in the eye.

Immediately, the dragon let go.

Skye was falling, her arms and legs spread to the wind.

Yukiko?!

No answer.

Skye cursed under her breath. Their connection was still severed. Yukiko could be....but she couldn't think about that right now. The earth was fast approaching. Skye panicked. She did not know any flying spells....would levitation work?

She didn't have time to wonder. Casting a levitation spell on herself, she felt her fall slowing, but her panic did not allow the spell to take full effect. Though the spell slowed her descent, it did not break it completely, and she fell to the ground with a sickening thud. She did not stir.

Yukiko emerged from the hood slowly, her eyes glazed and full of pain from her now crimson bandaged shoulder. The fur on her body was matted and messy. She looked down at Skye in a panic, the awkward way in which her body was bent. Yukiko lay on her back, trying to reestablish the connection, feeding her life into Skye's quiet body, feeling her own strength beginning to fail. They were both alive, just barely, and would run out of hope if help didn't come soon.

The wizzard who had survived Skye and Alvender's defenses earlier stepped up to her, a sneer on his wicked face.
 
"Quasak!" Alvender yelled from as he watched Skye fall.

'I'm on it!' Quasak replied as he swooped down and let Alvender fall safely back on his back, and began his decent upon the spies that were closing in on Skye.

Alvender backflipped off his dragon and landed infront of Skye, blocking her from the group. Immediately his scimitar and broadsword flashed out in place of his wand.

Quasak quickly transformed into his human form, and summoned a pair of rapiers to his hands and charged at them from behind. Alvender looked down at Skye, he wanted to help her, but he had to finish off these thugs before he could get to Skye, he'd be no good to her if he was dead.

Quasak quickly sank his blades into the back of one of them. The others looked around to see what happened, and Alvender took that as his que. Running his scimitar along the throat of one of the spies, it quickly and silently took the man's life as Quasak started battling the others.

Again Alvender looked over at Skye, hoping she could hold on long enough for him to help her or someone else to help her.
 
I noticed how hurt the girl was and abandoned my previous attempt to fight the dragon. Letting Dapis turn into a steep dive, rolling off of it the second I was close enough to the ground.

I rushed to her, throwing a protective shield around both of us. I had no idea why I was helping her, just some knowledge that it had to be done. I closed my eyes and placed my hands over her body, letting the gold healing energy flow through her. I quickly began mending her wounds, both internal and external, not sure if it would do enough...

I collapsed in a heap beside her when I was finished, my own magical energy totally depleated. There was nothing else I could do, but hold up the quickly wavering shield. I only hoped it was enough...
 
Nothing availible. Tsuchino said exasperatedly. Sighing, I asked, "Do you have anything that would be of assistance? Any size-changing spells? He shook his head, a thouroughly odd gesture from a bird. Though he kept the thought to himself, I could almost hear his rather sarcastic comments on giving up my magical prowess. I flashed the falcon an exasperated grin and said, "Try and take out the eyes, would you?" He flew off as I charged into the school grounds.
 
OOC: soz it's been i while i've been in france and Skye orphen is telekenetic. O and it's my Brithday today :D

IC: "ALVENDER GET SKYE AND GO" Sun screamed in rage pulling out his rapier. He swung round and smashed the wizard with the handle of the sword to buy some time for Alvender and Skye to get out.
 
Skye sucked in a breath, her body smothered in pain, but at least she was awake and could feel it. She looked over at her little dragon, who was exhausted upon Skye's back. Thankful for the reestablished connection, Skye felt more at peace than she had during the battle before she was wounded.

It took her a few moments to realize there was another girl beside her. Another student? Her indigo eyes searched her surroundings. She saw Alvender and a few other students fending off the rest of the spies and dragons. No matter how much she wanted to get up and help, her body would not let her.

Yukiko....use my energy...help them finish here. Skye spoke to her dragon. She passed some of the remaining healing energy and her own energy into Yukiko's body.

The dragon rose from her unconciousness, looking fiercely around her. Calling upon her own energy, and taking sparingly from Skye, the dragon leapt to the aid of the students and Lucas, who had come to join them. She grew to her full size, taking to the air to fight off the last of the dragons.
 
Sun saw Yukiko rising and that skye was now unconscious.
"Jeez stop switching" He said quietly as he dodged a blast from a wizard.
"HAIL OF HEAVENS" He screamed shooting icicles at a wizard. then behind him a spy came up and smashed him on the head and he fell unconscious next to skye.
