<OOC>Well, one of the ones I'm thinking of isn't necessarily evil, just... overprotective. The other two are most definately evil. But enough of this, if you want to delve into it further, create a discussion thread for it in the lounge. :P<OOC>

I raised an eyebrow at the action, somewhat amused and a little disquieted, though I buried that deep, deep down. To Lillian, I turned and said, "Rhai. A pleasure to make your acquantience." I bowed low, sweeping my hat in front of me at the same time. Nor did I fail to note the look in her eyes, storing it away along with countless other details about people.

A grin playing about my lips, I turned to the other girl and asked, "Who might you be? If you said you name, I fail to have caught it." Tsuchino chose that moment to return to me, landing on my shoulder.

I was slightly amused by Rhai's glashy clothing. It was well beyond my own style, but it seemed to suit him, in an odd way. I too, turned to the girl, anxious to catch her name as well.

I sighed, but let my face remain fully emotionless as the other boy marched off towards the school. I didn't know what to do. Dapis kept me firmly in line, telling me to leave him be. I obeyed. Dapis was always the level-headed one...

A flash of something that resembled a cross between annoyance and anger danced across Skye's eyes as she watched Alvender leave for the academy. She narrowed her eyebrows slightly, but Yukiko's return to her mind dissolved her frustrations. The dragon was now her smallest size, about the size of a ferret, and was in a much healthier state than before, her wound nearly healed.

"Who might you be? If you said you name, I fail to have caught it."

Skye's attention was brought to the pair of people before her. A wave of gratitude for their help washed over her, and she managed a smile as she rose to her feet, Yukiko upon her shoulder.

"I'm Skye," she spoke softly, an air of serenity about her voice. "It's nice to meet you, and thanks for your help."

At that moment, Lucas, her mentor at the academy, chose to make an entrance. He had been fighting off dragons a ways away, but now that the battle was over, he joined the small group.

"All right?" he asked them.

"There..." Alvender said looking into at his closet as he opened his eyes again. Alvender had found another presence that had not been in his room the last time he was here. A cold shiver washed down his spine as he stood up, feeling a bit stronger, but in no way ready to fight.

Alvender tried to pick up his weapons without making a sound, but the strength in his arms had not aloud him to do so. He clinched his hands, feeling the cool clamy skin, as he turned around to face the closet. His worst fear was behing that door, he knew that, he knew that she snuck in while the whole academy was busy. He also knew that she would have struck out at him once she knew for certain that Alvender was weak and that no one was coming after him.

Swallowing hard, but finding nothing to swallow, he found his breath become more labored than they normally were, and started to shake as the closet door's doorknob began to twist.

Before Alvender could yell for help, before he could even think of the words, darkness surrounded him and the last thing he felt was the cold hard floor of his living quarters and heared the door shut and lock...no one would find him missing until long after.

I noticed another man approaching. I didn't smile at him, but kept my face neutral. I wasn't entirely sure if the question was rhetorical or not. Then again, I was more wrapped up in my own thinkings for the time being.

I was finally at the Academy. After the years of struggling against the gene donors that were my parents, after the escape, after the journey, I'd made it. Sure, I wasn't on time, but that didn't matter to me at the moment. I was there. My eyes hardened unconsciously. I would prove them wrong. I wasn't who they said I was...

Dapis nuzzled my hand in an attempt to bring me out of my dark thinkings. I patted his nose, still brooding.

"I'm fairly sure I'm not dead." I said dryly to the man, adding, "Unless, of course, you have a different definition of dead around here. I won't presume to tell you what lacks or does not lack life." Once again, I turned to Skye and made the same grandoise bow, saying, "Charmed, I'm sure. Always a pleasure to meet such beautiful young women." Tsuchino hissed to me mentally, Really, Rhai, have you no control? You'd do your father proud." I hissed, my eyes hardening and saying, Never say that again! I'm NOT like him!

Somehow, the bird managed to look rather ashamed, replying quietly, I meant Yuki, Rhai. Not your birth father. I shifted nervously, not really realizing how odd it must have looked to one who hadn't heard the conversation. I said, Oh. I'm sorry, my old friend. Yuki was one I didn't mind being compared to.

Lucas cast a look at the silent battleground around them. He brought his eyes back to the group and let out a breath.

"Let's get back inside," he suggested, and made to lead the way back.

Skye, leaning heavily on her staff, made her way back to the academy, now shouldering Yukiko's pain. The little dragon shared her gratitude, and that was incentive enough for Skye to continue on her way.

She reached the academy, feeling oddly restless despite her fatigue. She made her way up to her room in the east tower, her place of solitude with Yukiko, and changed into some nightclothes. She cleaned Yukiko's wound, washing the blood from her fur, and wrapping the wound carefully. When that was finished, the two of them lay down to rest, drifting into an uneasy sleep.

"Where am I?" Alvender asked as he sat up and shook his head, trying to rid himself of the awkward drowziness in his head. Looking around, Alvender found that he was in a covered wagon, with a bunch of wooden boxes, probably supplies. But who were his kidnappers? Alvender scaned the darkness for any sign of who might be driving. Noticing a dark figure at the far end of the wagon, Alvender narrowed his eyes trying to figure out who was sitting there. "Hello?" Alvender asked after a while of sitting silent in the darkness.

When no one answered, Alvender tried to get up to his feet, but fell back down when the wagon hit a rather large rock that shook the elf off his feet. Alvender then jerked his head down at his feet after hearing a sound that sounded like metal on metal. He was in shackles.

The figure in the back of the wagon was obviously looking on with interest, and let out a loud cackle when Alvender realized that he was in chains. "You really thought I'd let you get away this time?" came the voice...a voice very recognizable...it was Agatha.

I followed into the Academy, slightly nervous. Dapis shared in my nervousness, but he continually sent me a stream of reassurance. I looked to the man that seemed to be in charge, though I'd never caught his name.

"I'm brand new here," I whispered. "Family kept me away until now... Would there be anyone who could show me where I'm supposed to be staying?" I asked quietly, keeping my eyes low.

OOC:guys u left Sun Xeng how could you.

IC: Orphen stood over Sun Xeng when he got a vision of Alvender on the cart with Agatha. He hurried to pick Sun Xeng and teleported to the entrance and met Skye and the rest.
"Skye...Agatha's got Alvender." He said panting, teleprting took quite some energy from him.
"For now why dont Rhai and Lilian share a room with Sun Xeng or someone and i'll get you a room tomorrow" Orphen said weakly

OOC: Squall....take a look at my last post. There is no way your character could have met up with mine.

Phantom Mew, is your character taliking to Lucas? If not, I'll edit my post. ^_^

IC: Lucas regarded the new arrival with a half smile. He gestured towards a large oak door near the entrance.

"The headmaster is there. He can tell you where to go," Lucas told her, with a bow, and made his exit.

The next morning, Skye awoke feeling uneasy. Yukiko was already up, looking out the window with alarm. Through their connection, Skye knew that something was up.

I cannot sense the boy elf, Yukiko told her.

"Alvender?"

I do now know where he is.

Skye bolted out of her bed, getting herself ready in a few precious moments. She grabbed her staff, motioned for Yukiko to follow, and made her way to the entrance hall, where she met up with Lucas unexpectedly.

"Where are you off to?" he asked.

"Have you seen Alvender?" she demanded breathlessly.

"No...but he came back to the academy last night..."

Feeling frustrated, worried, tired, Skye let out a huge breath and settled for feeling helpless.

I nodded at Lucas, smiling my thanks. After recieving my dorm room and all that good stuff, I'd managed to catch a little sleep.

The next morning, Dapis and I settled for roaming the grounds, really unaware as to what we should do. I'd recieved a class schedual, but it was too early to worry about that. After all, the sun was just rising.

Alvender stumbled along the dirt path that the wagon the night before had taken. His shirt was completely torn off with cuts running every which way along his chest, arms, hands, neck, and face. His pants were ripped off at the knee down and equally cut up with what looked like a fine blade. His body was red from soreness that he had recieved the night before, needlesstosay, he didn't have robes anymore. His long hair was matted with his own blood, clumped heavily in some spots. His eyes were exhausted and barely able to keep from closing.

Alvender smiled weakly as he found his way back to the academy, or at least the huge field leading to the academy. Hoping someone would find him, Alvender laid down, exhausted from the night before and Agatha, all the tortures and pains he had to relive. Every single thing she had done to him, the whippings, the sword cuts, and others not fit to tell, he had to endure all over again. He finally fell head over heels onto the ground and slowly lost conscienceness.

OOC: Skye Orphen is telepathic...

IC: Sun Xeng woke with a start feeling something was wrong. He got up and ran downstairs and out of the door to the academy He pulled his rapier out just in case. He ran into the fields when suddenly he found Alvender. Then He was ambushed by some warriors with strange markings on their armour.
"OH COME ON THIS ISNT FAIR 5 AGAINST 1!?" He shouted holding his rapier in his hands.
"fine you leave me no choice. I have never done this before but... ELLIE ARISE!" he shouted and his dragon with black hair and red skin burst from flames and blasted all of the people down. Then Sun Xeng felt Ellie trying to say something.
"d-dont... m-m-make me go b-b-back in there!" She stuttered in his mind.
She shrunk to the size of a lizard and rapped round his neck.
Sun Xeng lifted Alvender up and Ellie jumped down and grew to her normal size. He put Alvender on there and flew back to the acedemy.

I noticed the pair flying back to the Academy, and Dapis hailed them down. I recognized Alevander, and let out a small curse.

"He's to weak to make it back to the Academy..." I muttered to myself, leaping upon a rapidly expanding Dapis and racing after them. I thought better of myself, and turned Dapis. I thought I'd better find Skye... she and the elven boy had seemed rather close...

I found her with Lucas, landing beside them. "Skye, Alevander's hurt. Some kid has him on a dragon, and they're headed back to the Academy. I don't know how much time he has left!" I said this all rather quickly, extending my hand to her. "Jump on, I'll take you to them!"

OOC: My character was in her room, asleep, Sun Xeng. In any case, I'm going to remedy the confusion.

IC: "Alvender?" Skye was immediately alert and worried. She had thought he had gone to bed, that he was safe....

She took the hand offered to her, leaving Lucas behind without a second thought. Yukiko was perched on her shoulder. Millions of thoughts were flying through Skye's head, most of them worries and anxieties, but she bit her lower lip, and squinted against the morning sun, trying to see where he was.

Alvender didn't make a move to get away from Sun Xeng, he couldn't even if he wanted to. He was completely unconscience and his wounds weren't healing properly, probably jinxed by Agatha so he could suffer.

OOC: Sorry for the short post! more to come I promise.

OOC: o soz skye i'll shut up.

IC: Sun saw Skye coming straight at them. Alvender seemed weak and Sun Xeng thought Alvender wouldnt make it but Skye was coming now and maybe she could heal him.

I growled and flagged the boy who was carrying Alevander to the ground. "There's no way we can heal him if he can't hold still!" I said rather angrilly, only because I was slightly worried.

OOC: *slaps self* I'm having an aweful few days... sorry about the shortness of this post.

Skye jumped off the back of the dragon, nearly in tears. Yukiko bobbed on her shoulder as the girl sprinted to Alvender, taking him into her arms, confused and worried beyond belief. She lay him gently on the ground.

"Hang on, Alvender, I'm here," she assured him. Calling upon all her strength, as well as Yukiko's, the two of them began to break the junxes that held his wounds open. During the process, Skye looked over at the girl who had brought her there so quickly. Skye knew that she couldn't keep it up on her own. She was already drained. A plea in her eyes, she looked at the girl. "Please....could you help me?"
