hehe yea its Obvious XD,

Ok So theres an Announcemoent:

Announcement: 2 New Wolves had been Added on the List:

1-Dialga: Although Dialga is a Dragon but has much features of Wolves, Its Signature Move: Roar Of Time , Makes it more likely to be a Wolf. so its both Wolf and Dragon

2-Heatran: Heatran looks like a Frog to some people but it doesnt have The Feature of Frog , just like Dialga , it has a Feature of Wolf , it looks like an Iron Headed Dwelling Magma Dog so its Officially A Wolf
 
Sorry, but I kinda disagree with Dialga being part canine. Practically all dragons can roar, and in Pokemon, all can use the move Roar.

Also, Heatran don't really look canine. Most canines can headbutt you know...

And obviously I caught Riolu as my first wolf poke.

both of them shares some features of dogs . Heatran looks like that dog with a Round Granny Face xD, plus i didnt make Dialga Wolf becuz it just can Roar.its becuz It looks like a Giant Dog/ Wolf
 
What was your very FIRST wolf pokemon you ever caught in D/P?

uhh.... I think it was riolu by obtaining the riolu egg in that steel cave.... I really don't remember! o.O'
 
Uh huh, and you think only canines can roar? Lots of animals can roar, like lions, bears and walruses. And obviously dragons. And I don't think Dialga looks like a dog...

Can you explain the facial characteristics of a Persian cat? They look like a granny too...
 
Why I put them on the list is because Heatran is based after the same thing as Arcanine. He doesn't look like a wolf, but is made after a mythological wolf-tiger that guarded the ancient temples of China. Dialga is made after a dog since because of: D. His body is shaped entirely like a dog's. I think he represented another thing like a wolf of something that could control time...
 
Sorry guys, but my mind's set up. Dialga is a pure Dragon(with a hint of steel), and most people I've talked to said that there's no way it represents a canine. And most myths and legends have beings that can control the continuum. Which includes dragons.

And Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion are wolves...Well...If Heatran is >.>
 
No, Heatran is NOT a wolf. Whatever it's feedback might be, it doesn't look and acts like a wolf/dog, so I think it shouldn't be a wolf.
 
I did some more research, the names that stick out are not a wolf.

1. Vulpix = Fox.
2. Ninetales = Fox.
3. Growlithe = Doggy.
4. Arcanine = Shisa = wolf, tiger, and lion.
5. Eevee = Fox and raccoon dog.
6. Vaporeon = Fox.
7. Jolteon = Coyote and fox.
8. Flareon = Fox and cat.
9. Espeon = No, it is a cat (sorry ~Kavin~ and Lil_Miss).
10. Umbreon = Jackal and fox.
11. Snubbull = Bull.
12. Granbull = Bull.
13. Houndour = Same as below.
14. Houndoom = Based off of those dogs with three heads (except Houndoom doesn't have three heads, lol).
15. Smeargle = Beagle that paints.
16. Raikou = It is a saber-tooth tiger, or tiger, no.
17. Entei = No, it is entirely based on a lion, no characteristics for a wolf at all.
18. Suicune = Wolf.
19. Poochyena = Wolf.
20. Mightyena = Wolf.
21. Electrike = Same as below.
22. Manectric = Yes, a wolf like demon that could take shapes of any mammal.
23. Absol = Yes, wolf.
24. Riolu = Yes, same as Lucario.
25. Lucario = Yes, it is a jackal with characteristics of the ancient Egyptian dog that guarded the pyramids.
26. Leafeon = Yes, fox.
27. Glaceon = Yes, fox.
28. Dialga = No, it is entirely based on a dinosaur.
29. Heatran = No, it is a salamander from Japanese mythology that was covered by lava and steel.
30. Shaymin - Sky Forme = Yes, it is a terrier.
 
OBJECTION!

Entei is TOTALLY a wolf! And if you kick Espeon...you'll die. I'll find some way to track you and kill you! Just kidding, but espeon's one of my favorite Eeeveelutions...

Anyway...mine was riolu, too.
 
Wow, nice find Wolflare! Though I disagree with Entei, he's a wolf. Else we could kick Arcanine out of the list too.
And...... keep Espeon because it just belongs to the Eevee family?
 
If Espeon stays in, it will only be because its pre-evolution is in I think.

Suicune is a very iffy one(both wolf and feline) this proves same for Absol. But they should stay.

Arcanine is obviously strongly canine, so i would still be included (and please, I don't want to change my name to something like Amethyst Suicune yet :P)
