I'd Say the first place, with squirtle and all. Because, i recognise all the areas ( manly because of red and blue + FR + LG), The Maps/Areas are Simple and ARENT messy for example, Viridian City = Simple, Clear & No Hazzle and then theres Fortree City = one expression O_____O"

So yeah, and many more reasons but cbf explaining

Definitelygotta say Ecruteak City from Gold, its got the best gym (If you move on the wrong spot you teleport to the beginning, really challenging!), one of the hardest in Johto, because of the lack of many Pokemon that destroy Ghost type Pokemon. Thus, way too good to be eliminated =)
