And so, I received my first RIP in Reflection Cave. I had just evolved my Aron, only to have it slaughtered by a Solosis' Hidden Power which also had a critical hit. Very unlucky. I was looking forward to using Aggron too. So that left a big gap in my team. I eventually opted to use the gift Lucario instead of trading it but... it has a Bashful nature and I kind of want to change it out later. We'll see what Wonders come through as I progress. I'm a tad over-leveled but that's not too much of a bad thing. I had all my Pokémon except for Lucario above level 40 going for my fourth badge, which became a problem because they refused obey me at times...but hey, made it out without too much causality. That said farewell fallen hero...

Finally, an update with no deaths to report! I feel better about life. I haven't had anything to Wonder Trade yet, but I'm about to enter that creepy forest place so there's an opportunity right there. Still need to level up Sushi some more, but damn, grinding levels in this can be risky. I almost lost Blueberry to an Ampharos in the Lumiose Gym too. Like we're talking 2 HP left. That close. Also, how I have managed to keep a Linoone alive for this game is completely beyond me.

Did two badges since my last update, lost Lucario, I'm not even sure how, sent him out on a Scraggy, used Mach Punch, but somehow died when I looked away. Oh well. Easy come easy go? Anyway, got a Bagon in Wonder Trade but I don't think I'll use it as I already have Altaria all trained up. Also got a Skarmory, but damn they take aaaages to train. Again it's been a breeze going through the last two gyms, although the Sylveon in the latest one was catching up to my levels (42). I guess that should make things a bit more interesting. I neeeeed to give Altaria some better moves though, honestly. So hopefully those will be changed up in my next update. No onto the PokéBall Factory.

Linoone/Level 34/Critical hit from Hawlucha in Reflection Cave

Quick note: Reshiram and Stunky are shiny Pokemon. Reshiram was from a trade and Stunky is from a horde battle that I did before I caught the other Stunky to trade.
First death as well and I grabbed the only female Pokemon that hadn't been paired yet... Which was a Weedle. I guess we'll see how good/bad this will be.

CHAPTER X: THE FROST CAVERN MASSACRE
After winning their very own Fairy Badge from Valerie, Gav and his Pokémon were headed towards Frost Cavern. They were told that Mamoswine had gone North of Dendemille Town to investigate a disturbance in the tundra area. Spritely skipping along, Gav and his team bumped into a trainer looking for a Sky Battle. Altaria, itching for action hopped right out and took out both a Carnivine and Swanna with ease. It seemed Altaria was not quite done yet though, as another Sky Trainer was eager for a bout. Gav, confident in his Altaria accepted. However this Sky Trainer had a trick up their sleeve: a Cyrogonal. Gav panicked, knowing that his beautiful Altaria had a four times weakness against Ice attacks. He commanded Altaria to fight hard, one Dragon Pulse after another, Cyrogonal shrug them off. Sing missed twice, Ice Beam was hitting oh so unfavourably until...Altaria took a critical hit to the neck, fainted, and died...

To say Gav walked away with his tail between his legs would be an insult to all who have fought a dignified battle and lost. He wailed, with his Altaria in arms and deposited her to the RIP box within his storage system. There was little time for mourning, he had to take vengeance upon that Sky Trainer, oh, and boy did he. He withdrew his level 70 shiny Lugia, who was both Bold in nature, and perfectly trained for battle. In one foul swoop Lugia annihilated that Cyrogonal with an Aeroblast. Oh, the irony was thick, a non-effective move taking down that Ice beast in one...but as it turned out the irony was not yet savored long enough. Gav had entered the cavern, in which the first wild Pokémon to attack was none other than a...Cyrogonal. It seems this species just doesn't know when to quit. Armed with a Quick Ball, Gav captured the Pokémon before it could do any more damage.

It was time to Wonder Trade it away. Good riddance. A Caterpie showed its friendly face, but one was already sitting pretty in Gav's storage system so he rolled again. A Togepi, an honrouable replacement for our lost heroine Altaria. Gav continued to level Togepi up, using Breloom he outsped everything. Breloom was taking his anger out on the Ice Type of Frost Cavern like there was no tomorrow. Blinded by rage and regret, his trainer failed to take into account that the wild Haunter he was up against couldn't be hit by the usual "go-to" Mach Punch attack. Haunter took its chance and retaliated against Breloom, who was somewhat low on health. Another fallen comrade.

If he never seen a wild Pokémon in this awful place again, it would be too soon. Low on health, and supplies, Gav was eager to just make it through the cave. Espeon took the lead. Espeon lost the lead. Espeon fainted. Espeon, nor Gav, realised what hit it. The despair, the blind rage, the lack of concentration all rose into one ball of emptiness. A trainer devoid of emotion let his Pokémon die, because of the loss of one, his core, his little Swablu. He had given up. Lost all hope. Frost Cavern had beaten him. His fateful friends had come to him only to die due to his own negligence, Swablu, Shroomish, and now Eevee. Their smiling faces and eagerness to do their best for their trainer would never be forgotten. Gav made it through Frost Cavern, but the heartache had but one more stab to endure...

It was in Route 17 where Gav lost Togetic. It had evolved not long beforehand, from Togepi. The sign that their bond was growing, to Gav it was a sign that he hadn't completely failed as a trainer. Even though he had let three of his friends die, his Togepi still believed in him, still trusted him, still loved him enough to grow stronger for him. Trusting his trainer instincts, Gav sent level 42 Togetic out against Sneasel, even though it had a weakness. If Togetic was looking like it could faint here, he was ready to be switched out right away. No more chances today. Another critical hit. Togetic fell to the ground, the final soldier to lose his life that day. Simply because one trainer could not deal with the grief of losing one, he lost many.

Olympia was conquered at the Anistar Gym, but no songs would be sung tonight. Gav, Delphox, Lanturn, and Dratini would take down Team Flare and do anything but relieve the Frost Cavern Massacre of March the 23^rd.

I'm not actually very good at Nuzlocke challenges, but I'll try this one.

So I saved Birch. Got a Treecko. Beat May's Torchic. Got my Pokedex.
Caught a Poochyena on Route 101 and Wonder traded it for an Omanyte Lv. 5, oddly already nicknamed Donatello. Okay.
Then on the next route 102 I caught another Poochyena and wonder traded it for a Zigzagoon named Prete Moi from France at Level 13.
On Route 104 I caught a Zigzagoon and wonder traded it for a Roselia Lv. 1 that I nicknamed Briar.
On the next route I caught a Wurmple which I wonder traded for a Japanese Fletchling named Ember at Lv. 3.
Then I also Wonder Traded my Treecko for a Plusle named Electra also at Level 13.
I tried to train as little as possible but was unable to avoid all the Trainers you are required to fight so I wound up with a Level 11 Donatello and a Level 11 Briar when I faced Roxanne. I sent out Donatello the Omanyte against Roxanne's Geodude and he died to a critical hit on Sand Tomb. Then I swapped for Briar the Roselia and he flatly refused to attack. So I swapped out for Prete Moi who couldn't take a hit either, and wouldn't obey me, being Level 13. So I grudgingly sent out Briar again. He still wouldn't attack and died horribly. That left me with Electra and Ember who were both super weak to ground type attacks... so in the end I had a Total Party Kill before getting a single badge. I guess I'll just restart the game...

In this episode, we notice that the lowest leveled party member I had last time and the newest is now way higher than everyone else. lol That's because Sushi goes out any time I run into a Fighting Pokemon...or Mega Gyarados. I had Sushi Surf that thing to death because I knew Mega Gyara would clobber anyone else I sent out except maybe...ChurroEs. Anyway, no deaths again and nothing that great added to my box since the last update. Still secretly hoping for a Torchic or something to replace Popcorn. I love her, but I'm beginning to not use her much for fear of her dying and that being said, she's just taking up space. :( Can't argue with a level 61 Linoone though, I suppose...oh. I evolved my Tailow. idk. It seemed like a good idea at the time. And I forgot how lockes worked since I took such a long break so I ruined my chance to catch something for route uhhhh whatever is after Anistar on the way to Couriway. lol

- Started my adventure and chose Chespin as my starter... not that it matters. Caugh the Pidgey.
- Got a Marill for the Pidgey and a Ralts for the Chespin! Great start, the Marill has Huge Power!! The Ralts has a Sp Atk decreasing nature :( I guess I'm going to evolve it to Gallade.
- Leveled both to lvl. 5
- Got a Panpour on the forest and got a ton of overleveled pokémon that I had to trade back, finally got myself a Zorua!
- Got through the forest and gaught a Bunnelby on the next route and got a Rusturf Tunnel Whismur. Cool.
- Caught a Litleo on Route 22 and got a Surskit in exchange. Meh.
- Defeated Viola esaily because Marill has Rollout.
- Caught a Budew in the next rout and traded it for a Squirtle!! I already have Marill so I don't know what to do, meanwhile it will rest in the PC... wait... it has Dragon Pulse and Aura Sphere!!! I'll choose whrn I continue playing.

Update#1
Sylvi | Pokemon Y

I chose Chespin as my starter which, in hindsight, might have been a sign and also not the best choice to have made. Fought Shauna and quickly made my way to the first route where I cause a Bunnelby. Wonder Traded it and received Lotad! What I nice Pokemon to start with. ♥ Leveled it up to five and then Wonder Traded Chespin off for my second Pokemon. That came out to be Wurmple. Hmm...

After going into Santalune Forest I caught a Caterpie to get my third. After about two wonder trades (first two were at least level 25) in the end I received a Shroomish named VIII! Which, Normally I'd be happy about but Lotad, Wurmple, and Shroomish? The first gym isn't going to be kind. But I made my way through Santalune Forest onto the next route, Wurmple evolving into Cascoon. Once out of the forest I caught a Burmy to trade. In return I got a Ferroseed named Kastadur! Such a great name but another grass type? At least this one is Steel and has Stealth Rock. Definitely found my lead.

But I wasn't going to give up. There was one more route I could catch a Pokemon on and there I caught an Azurill. I wonder traded it and in return? A Pansage. Really, game? Deciding that I really don't want Pansage at all the monkey was boxed. Now with my group of four I'm leveling up to take on Viola. Bugs against (mostly) Grass types. We'll see what the outcome in. Chances are I'll be boxing both Shroomish and Lotad as much as I'd want to use them because I don't need a bunch of grass types. Dustox will likely be boxed in the future too. But I think I found the first true member of my team. Let's hope Kastadur lives a long life. ♥

X Wonderlocke Update #2:

- Got my Kanto starter and wonder traded it for a Dratini with E-Speed!
- Caught a horde Gulpin and wonder traded it for a Treecko!
- Almost lost my Ralts to the Plusle-Minun twins in that route.
- Marill evolved!!!!
- Arrived at Camphrier
- Treecko evolved at Route 6!
- RALTS DIED TO THE FREAKING FURFROUS ON ROUTE 6!!!
- GROVYLE DIED TOO I HATE THOSE TRAINERS!!!!
- I MURDERED those Furfrous and went to deposit the decaesed ones...
- Azumarill learned Aqua Tail... prepare to die everyone...
- Caught an Oddish... got a Zigzagoon trading...
- Cleared out the area and did the boring palace thingy
- Caught the Snorlax... HOLY (/&=%=? GOT A SHINY BULBASAUR IN EXCHANGE!
- Caught a Flabébé on Route 7 and got a Makuhita in exchange, nice

Update#2

Whooo boy a lot of things happened since my first update! Beat four gym and lot of wonder trades later I.... only have four Pokemon actually on my team ahahah....hah. I should probably consider picking up a Pokemon or two from my box in case something terrible happen but I'll wait until after the next gym (as it should be easy) before making my decision. Anyways, events as I remember them.

- Beat Viola! I believe it was thanks to Kastadur that I did.
- Eventually went through all the stuff between first and second gym. Got a Swablu that was to be on my team and also got a Gabite! It's nature it's timid but eh beggars can't be choosers I guess. And her name is Cynthia. ♥ Since I wasn't going to use my fossil Pokemon I wonder traded it away. Forgot what I got exactly, though. I think it might have been Eevee that I eventually evolved to Jolteon? Either way I did receive Eevee before the second gym as well.
- Also received a Tentacool that I replaced Lombre with. One grass type switched out.
- Grant's gym was where I received my first death ): I was trying to keep everyone alive and risked bringing out Swablu and putting the Pokemon to sleep. That was obviously a bad idea because it had more speed and I lost the bird. Thankfully I still had Gabite fora Dragon type so I wasn't too sad about it.
- Beat Grant easily with Breloom. Was thinking on keeping VIII on my over Kastadur when...
- VIII died! No thanks to me forgetting that Mr.Mime was still Psychic and took a Psywave and then a Low sweep from the Machoke in a double battle. You served me well VIII Rest in Peace. Kastadur was officially the Grass type I was going to keep.
- Managed to somehow get through Glittering Cave and then went to beat Korrina. Received Lucario and wonder traded it off as I've used Lucario in a previous Nuzlocke and received... Linoone. Ahh well.
- Got the Lapras and boxed it in case something happened to my Tentacruel. Moved on to Courmarine City where I beat my rival, and then faced off against the gym. Thanks to Kastadur and Gabite taking Ramos down wasn't too difficult! I went to the Badlands hoping for a potential fifth Pokemon for myteam and got... Pichu. Damn. Again, hopefully after Clemont I can finally get a Pokemon I want for my fifth otherwise I might just bring out a Pokemon from my PC to team up. Four Pokemon is kinda of risky ahaha...

That said here is my team of four at this time! Pokemon I'm considering are ... well actually not sure. Most Pokemon I have is a duplicate of a type I have already or a Pokemon I wouldn't be able to fully evolve (ABRA) so... we'll see.

X Wonderlocke Update #3:

- Got my Zubat Roost encounter and got a Honedge, don't ask what the encounter was, got my Route 8, Ryhorn Path (or whatever) and Glittering Cave encounters (Bagon, Helioptile and Kangaskhan) and traded them, got a Sandshrew, a timid Carvahna and a Skrelp
- Azumarill learned Double-Edge... power
- Arrived at Cyllage and bought some shorts because they're comfy and easy to wear
- Caught a Sygyliph on route 10 and got a Klefki in exchange, but it was high levelled so I had to trade it again... got a Taillow... it was a japanese sassy level 40 Taillow in a premier ball, I know, unbelieavable, but believe me, it happened, traded it back and got a... Bunnelby.
- Defeated Grant easily with my Aqua Tailing Azumarill
