Alt rock is terrible and for the most part overrated. It's not as bad as country or pop though.
 
coheed and cambria. Uhhh i hate them. My best friend listens too it nonstop. The lead singer sounds like a 10 year old girl

And Miley Cyrus. Shes sucks and she's a horrible role model.
 
I thought of another group I hate.....the JONAS BROTHERS. Seriously.....we don't need another teenage pop band. There's already too many out there *cries*
 
Rap and country are not music. They're simply noise. Grating, aggravating, excruciating noise.

I listen to electronic and dance music mostly, along with some classical and rock. My favorite artists at the moment are Daft Punk, Ratatat, Tiesto, Justice, and Nobuo Uematsu.

Genrally it's Fall Out Boy and Linkin Park. Generally obnoxious and rather stupid songs that I really can't stand >_> Maybe it's because I grew up more on classic rock but eh, I just really can't stand them at all.

Rap and Hip Hop doesn't bother me nearly as much as it used to though. After hearing some newer pop songs it's quite a challenge to be annoyed by it anymore.

Speaking of annoying pop songs, Fergie anyone? Not only do her songs sound bad, but she's basically obsessed with herself and the lyrics in her songs reflect that.

Anyways, Im'a have to go with the practical answer here and say the Jonas Brothers. Not only are they lyrically retarded, I just...don't see why everyone likes them so much lately x_x

I didn't mind Linkin Park all that much in their first two albums. I only started disliking them after their release of "Minutes to Midnight." Oh, and when i found out they were going on tour with HIM and MCR last year ._.

Oh, and that whole "Collision Course"-thing with Jay-Z was the biggest musical disgrace I have ever heard in my entire life >_>

I'd just like to state my extreme disdain for Panic! at the Disco and Fall out Boy. They suck! They sound exactly the same and have no talent. And fyi to all the little emotionally retarded 12 year old girls out there, Pete Wentz is NOT hat and you'll never be Mrs. _______ Jonas because each of the Jonas Brothers is gay! I mean they just get gayer and gayer by the brother. Not only that, but they're only into each other. Incestual awkwardness ftw!

Bands I hate? Well I cannot really stand Screamo Metal. (except Pantera as I actually know what they're saying)
I hate bands like Cannibal Corpse who's vocalist sounds like he's trying to either cough up lyrics or vomit on the mike. I cannot understand what he says and it gives me a sick feeling inside.

Other bands? I don't really enjoy pop artists that much. There's no subject in their music. "Hit me One more time?" I wanted to puke when I first heard that song.

Read closely, you unwashed masses. Not all rap and hip-hop glorifies violence, promiscuity, and crime. It does take a certain amount of skill with the English language just to write out decent rhymes, and it takes even greater skill to improvise a song right on the spot (freestyling). If the lyrical content is narcissistic, then that's the problem of the rapper and/or the songwriter working for him, not the genre as a whole.

To be honest, Cobra Starship is no better than any of those bands, but that's just me. Hell, Cobra Starship shares the same record label with Panic at the Disco and Cute Is What We Aim For. Birds of the same feather flock together, after all.

How many times must I have to repeat this? Not all rap and hip-hop glorify promiscuity, and not all rappers are self-absorbed pricks.
 
@Jack: There really is no need to try and justify why everyone's opinion but your own is wrong. =/ If they don't like rap based on what they've heard or whatever, get over it. They're entitled to their own opinions.

That said, I'm not a fan of rap in any form, and I'm relatively lenient with what I listen to. I shouldn't have to justify it other than by saying it's not of my tastes.
 
A lot of the hate of rap is sort of unfair. Sure, today's rap is absolute garbage, but the originals were much better. Eazy-E, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G were much better than today's.
 
I'm admittedly not very familiar with their music, but I'm confident in my assertion that every Insane Clown Posse fan needs to die.
 
In my horrible opinion, country music is the worst....I don't know a specific band, but I dislike the genre. Once again, disclaimer, this is an opinion.

Oh, and Brittany Spears is just awful.

IMHO bands should sound good live. It irritates me to hear a lot of this synthetic stuff and then hear the band live and have them suck. I prefer groups that don't need to be in a studio to sound good.

I generally don't listen to rap. I don't hate rap, I just prefer other genres. Though I will admit, I am rather fond of Outkast. The slightly older rap of my generation, possibly even before my generation, doesn't sound bad at all.

Ugh, I agree completely. What do they call themselves? "Juggalos?" XD;

I'm gonna have to go ahead and change my answer from the Jonas Brothers to ICP. Hell, make that every group signed to psychopatic records in general.
 
Both Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers both suck in my ears.

Country is boring and drawn out.

I'm a metal person myself.
