That thing's overkill, though for a laptop I have to wonder if it is. Gaming laptops have always been iffy territory. Not saying I wouldn't mind having one myself, though for now I'm pretty alright with my desktop.

I wouldn't have got it if it was anywhere near the retail price. I got it for 650 from a guy on one of those bootsale aps.Technically second hand but unused and factory sealed.

28. All the snow we've gotten here over the last week and half has completely melted away over the past 3 days.

Also, new PC is finally online. Basic specs:

Intel Core i7 (can't remember the specific i7) 4.0 GHz clock speed.
RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1600
OS Drive: 500 GB SSD Samsung 850 Evo

It slays everything I've thrown at it, which admittedly isn't much.

I've got 3 internal HDDs to install yet. Two 1TB Toshiba drives and a 2TB Western Digital Black.

EDIT: Oh, right, it's got an AMD r9 280 in it.
