    I'm not sure if everyone knows, but Serebii found a ??? Type Arceus Plate encoded into the game. After replaying my Diamond, I came to upon a thought. When Cynthia gives you the Old Charm, and you then deliver it to her Grandmother, she says something like "It is an ancient relic from a time before sinnoh was created". This ties in with the other Arceus plates, and perhaps this charm is the ??? type plate that serebii found.

    Thoughts?

    The ??? Type Arceus Plate on Serebii was referring to the move Curse. Curse's Type is shown as a ???

    I don't have any idea but I'm sure that the Old Charm looked like a necklace, it can't be a plate.
     
    I know someone who claimed they could hack a ??? but he never showed it me. Strage coincidence there lol.
     
    There is no "???" Plate at all.

    Arceus just has a recolor pallete for the ??? type. There is no Plate or anything in the game data to achieve this Arceus variety though.

    As stated, "???" is for the move Curse, eggs, bad-eggs/empty Pokemon spots, and the Shadow moves in Colloseum/XD. It is neither weak nor resistant to any other type (except in the Gamecube games where it is super effective or not effective based on if the opponent is a Shadow Pokemon).

    I think its a symbol to show Arceus.
     
    I think it came around because someone with way too much time thought "Hey, if there's a plate for every type, and curse is ??? type, there must be a ??? plate! ill tell all my friends ive found one!"

    Thats what my mate did, noob :)
     
    I think the ??? plate is just something put into the game so that we could guess.... i dunno but i dont think it has to do with the Old Charm

    The thing is, it wasnt put into the games. The azure flute and oak's letter were put in the object pool and hence could be hacked, but there is no ??? plate.
     
    Actually you are wrong Serebii has it, i cant post the link but if you go to Diamond and Pearl and go to the Arceus factor at the side you can find it on that page
     
    Nope ive already checked, there's a recolour palette because there's one for every type, but no plate.

    Comply with this the words of the man who gives you the Icicle plate "It seems to come from a time, even before sinnoh was created".

    People thought it impossible with the G/S/C version, but the Teru Sama was found, as a glitch more than anything. Perhaps this plate is just for the color pallete of Arceus, maybe it is just there to reset its colour, I don't know, but it does present a similar argument as the truck in R/B/Y. Why is it there?

    Perhaps Nintendo might have an event with the ??? plate. Now all we need is the Tough, Beauty, Cute, Cool, and Smart type Arceus.
