There are some pokemon that have, or might have, bitter rivalries. Like for instance, Zangoose and Seviper, because they represent the rivary between mongooses and snakes. Can you think of a few pokemon that might have rivalries as well?

I would probably say one could be Gyarados and Milotic. Gyrados being full of rage and Milotic being all calming. I probably wouldn't think Beedrill would be too fond of Vespiquen eaither; perhaps.

But if Milotic is calm, how could it have a bitter rivalry? :P

Pokemon like Lillipup and Purrloin of course, living in the same area as cats and dogs.

Abra and Machop as well, Abra relies entirely on his mind while Machop relies entirely on his muscle.

Zangoose and Seviper prove rivalry between Pokemon. I might even try and use them together!

Durant and Heatmor also seem to have a rivalry (Durant is the ant and Heatmor is the anteater)

I'm sure that Pidgey and Spearow could be rivals because of not only how they were portrayed in the anime in the episode when Ash returned to Pallet Town from the Indigo Plateau, but of how they share qualities of the early-game birds.

Presumably most of the legendaries have some sort of animosity between them. Apart from the legendary dogs and the legendary Pokemon that require the other members of the trio to be in the same room as them, legendary critters don't always seem to see eye to eye on important matters like being in the same room together, for example!

I actually thought Beedrill would be subservient to Vespiquen, considering that we don't have a "worker" bee male Combee evo, and Beedrill's the closest approximation we have to that...

    This.

And this. Not to mention all of the seemingly embittered legendary mascots who have their conflicts etched in tales for eras...

Also, someone once posted this piece of trivia on Bulbapedia. The speculative part of such an interaction leading to a conflict was dismissed as "ridiculous" by an admin, though. :(

*Looking at Aggron's Sapphire Pokédex entry, it could be considered a contrast to Tyranitar- while Tyranitar often destroys the land around it (and requiring maps to be redrawn in extreme cases), an Aggron will restore a piece of land to its original state after a natural disaster like a landslide. Whether this could lead to conflict between the two is unknown.
