They made that man with the Abra useless in the Pokemon League

It doesn't feel the same being able to fly back and forth between the Pokemon League and Johto as it didn't happen in Gold and Silver

who knows, I would've atleast liked the concept of Abra teleporting me home.
On a slightly related note, why in the world to we have to fly to the pokemon league before we can fly to the other region. And then, we can't fly from mt. Silver to johto, even though it's closer to Johto than Kanto.

Yeah, I'll admit that I missed the fact that he won't actually teleport you now, and instead seems to angst a bit (I talked to him just so he could teleport him, not for him to whinge that nobody wants to let him help teleport people =p). However I do like the fact you can fly from the Pokemon league gate to Johto and back - that was convenient so I could swap team members around if needed.

i LOVED that i could use that guy to go home easy and climb back north to train back in GSC

I really loved teleporting back in GSC. Way too fun to see Gold suddenly spawn in his room while he was at the Elite 4 ! xD

I think it would be better to have both options. Use his Abra or use Fly

Agreed, flying is convienent, but teleporting is nostalgic =D

The first time I played the original Gold I never got Fly because I din't know where it was, or that it even existed. It was a pain to walk everywhere... but then the next time I played I got fly. Made the game THAT much easier. Because before I teleported everywhere and hoped that I wouldn't hae to heal at another PC.
