4th Gen they say the next pokemon game is called?

    The next pokemon game called pokemon platnium or opal

    comes out late this year or next year

    Erm, no. Leastways, not for sure. That 'source' in the thread was an April Fools joke.
    Basically - if it is revealed, it will be revealed by Nintendo. And not on the 1st of April.
    Note also that Nintendo have 'bought' website domains with various gem names for a possible release of a thrid DP game, or to stop others using them for April Fools jokes.
     
    Toblerone - firstly - would Giratina actually be it? No one knows - has a good chance, but may not. (Heck, it could be Dunsparce! :P).
    Secondly, pics in other thread aren't nesseraily true - if it IS Opal, it'll be when Nintendo say it is. So don't jump up and down yet - I recall twice(?) before that similar rumours with Japanese posters were found, only to be proved false.
     
    I hope they add better touch screen features
     
    I think they may have darkrai on the cover as a possibility. or mannybe a starter seeing the first gen covers were starters.
     
    Αh the good ol random post of darkrai being the cover or mabye a starter. Well no cause you see we have all th facts we need to know its giratina. One is that it its perect with the other 2 when it comes to types. On the internet giratina is known to be part of the trio look it up even and its there. Another is the eyes. You want anymore proof I got it.
     
    why dont u all stop debating in every thread about this
    and try and e-mail nintendo
    they probably wont say anything
    but theres a slim chance
    maybe u can ask "will there be a new pokemon game for DS??"
    they might give u little bits of info
    who knows. but its better than fighting in every thread that has this as a subject
     
    Nintendo Creators are still not sure what's the new Pokemon game called,so people don't jump into conclusions or saying facts when it's not and it is a April Fools joke.
     
    okay i would have a better pokemon, it will be opal but they haven't made it yet.

    So you are claiming that Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Suicune are a trio? Or did you forgot about G/S/C?

    And all the other evidence of you I do not understand.... He is perfect with the other two when it comes to types? You mean that they are all dragon or something? Groudon Kyogre and Rayquaza all have other types....

    And that "the eyes "thing I do not get at all. I think that I missed something?

    Thank god for you... I was just about to say that. There is absolutely zero (well maybe a little more than zero but whatever) reason to say the cover will have Giratina on it and even less of a reason to say it will be called Opal. The eyes are also irrelevant. None of the other groups had the same eyes, and it is possible, just maybe, that after making 493 different pokemon, they decided to just reuse the same eyes a few time. They did it with the cries.

    Anyway, it is just as likely that the cover will have a magicarp on it and will be called Pokemon: Sulfur. It is really moot to argue it.
