    Do you think its fair how in NYC that pokemon platinum is released a day early? Like what about people in canada... like me? or like ausistralia or any other state. I dont >.< but its kinda cool how you are able to get it signed by the auther!

    Hmm... Maybe you can just get one there and sell your pre-ordered one on ebay xD

    They Should have put shadow lugia in pkmn plat though i was dissapointed same with D/P
     
    whats not fair is that i can't seem to import any platinum copy to my country (israel)
    ill just hope Toys R Us in my country would get some copies quickly.. if it would happen, its pretty good since there are no events here like TRU regigas and some other things..

    just a day earlier.. as long as you get your copy i'm sure you will be happy! its not they will get dialga, palkia and giratina to lvl 100 in that time
     
    Considering it is only a day difference, it does not bother me none. I live in Canada as well, and intend to buy it on the date of release. Is it fair, not necessarily I guess but at least it isn't like, a week before or something like that.
     
    Yea if it was like a week that would be BS

    Does it really matter? One whole day isn't going to kill you.

    It's probably unfair that I have mine already, because my friend is a manager at an EB Games near my place. But guess what, life isn't fair.
     
    The thing that I don't like is that they mentioned it in such a fairly short notice, which is unfair to anyone in the area who preordered a while before. People who reserve a copy do it to get it as soon as they can, but then a week or two before it comes out, they say people can just come in to get it a day early.
     
    Forgot to mention, you act like this whole day early thing is something new. Guess what, the Pokemon Center in New York (or whatever it's called nowadays) has always released the games a day early. I happened to be in New York on vacation at the time Ruby and Sapphire came out, and guess what, I got it a day before anyone else. Big deal.

    Also, it's not like every store in NYC gets to release it early. It's only the Pokemon Center.
     
    It's just a day. You'll survive, trust me. If not, well, sorry? I'm in Europe and will have to wait for it until Summer or whenever it'll come out here and I can cope with it easily. :/
     
    its not the pokemon center anymore hasnt been since 2005.its now the Nintendo World Store.it shouldnt matter since its only ONE day.big deal this is the first time in awhile that they have done a pre-release event for the game.when diamond and pearl came out they did it the day it was released and only thing special about that was them having an event there.but the thing is also if people didnt know NWS was gonna do an event like this should have just waited and pre-order it from them.i had asked one of the workers at the store when i pre-ordered mines and he said that there was gonna be an event there a day b4 the release date.all thats special is they having the game a day early and the event for a few hours of non stop pokemon madness then its over.the only thing i am wondering is how the autographs of the games are being given out.
     
    Well i live in the UK and got my english copy today so i couldn't care at all.
     
    Wait, its getting signed by who? AND it comes out a day early! I swear I did not know this!!!!!

    I don't think its fair, but I can't really say anything foul becaue, well, I live in the city! xD NYC is my home, and now, its gonne be the home for my Platinum! xD
     
    WTF That wouldn't be fair to the rest of the U.S who would hgave to wait until the 22nd. And i'm sure there are more people that play pokemon in the rest of the country the NYC so they should release the same day for everyone in the same country
     
    I don't really mind, it's only a day.

    If it was five days or a week, then I would be ticked.
    And what do you mean "signed by the author"?
