lol the new title sounds interesting

I know this may not help with the title stuff but i know for a fact that JKR said that no one takes on Hermione but she may just end up playing a major role in the course of one of the up coming book [she said this when OotP came out.]
I got this in the Times magazine.
 
She may have been talking about Hermione's cleverness. >> And it couldn't be Hermione since she is completely a girl and the title's "Half Blood Prince"
 
i just got a new HP book... actually its one that explains many myth stuff in HP... did u know that draco's name actually means Dragon-Serpent??

so many other stuff in there.....
 
NOVEMBER 2005??? I CANT WAIT THAT LONG... I'LL BE 14 YEARS OLD BY THEN!!!! MAN!!! i really wanna see how Cho and Cedric look like.... Mouldyshorts is everywhere...

I think they're trying to slow it down a bit so the movie series and book series end withing about 2 years of each other.
 
Goblet of Fire had better be at least three hours long though, if not longer. As the books get longer they're going to have to cut more and more details out of each one to keep them in the target two-and-a-half hour range. Prisoner of Azkaban had so much missing that was in the book (even crucial plot details) that it hardly felt like the book...I hope for better out of Goblet of Fire, but they've traded in Alfonso Cuaron for yet another director, so I have no idea what this one will be like...
 
horribly different i can tell u. i really am waiting for the 5th movie of Phoenix. Dumbledore's Army going into the Mystery Dept and fighting Mouldyshorts... wow.....

Maybe the HBP is snape??? im just guessing..... or maybe some dead long lost legendary dude... as i said before.... SNAPE'S DAD!!!! XD

i should start visiting Mugglenet then..... okay... now those guys from school go to another HP board and they say that the next book will not have a HBP in it. just its about mudbloods and purebloods fighiting or something and waiting for the prince to come and stop the fight... im confused... which is a rumor and which is not?
 
Doubtful that they would know unless they work for Rowling's publisher, gave RTowling an enormous sum of cash, or have stolen the manuscript. Rowling wouldn't do something so spoiler-ish. Furthermore, she's already confirmed that the HBP must be someone by saying that it wasn't Harry or Voldemort.
 
Bleh... and she doesn't let anyone read it until she's written the entire thing, right? =/

Not even her family got to read OotP...
 
hmm.. possibilities.

Harry- It can't be Harry, since JKR confirmed it wasn't him

Voldemort- see Harry's description

Snape- This is possible. We don't know much about Snape's past other than the fact he used to be a Death Eater (Which he still might be in secret, which perfectly explains why he hates Harry so much)

Lucius/Draco- The Malfoys are purebloods, so that rules them out.

Hagrid- This is another interesting possibility. But halfbloods usually refer to Wizards/Muggles, not Giants/Humans.

Ron/Ginny/etc - See the explaination given for the Malfoys

Hermione- same as the Malfoys & the Weasleys, except she's not a male (and princes are always males) and shes a mudblood.

So yeah, it might be some new character altogether.
 
Cough! Cough! Here ye! Hear ye! O_o; I don't know about this but I'm beginning to feel like it's Crookshanks that's the Prince of Half Bloods. Being kept up in a Pet shop all day. Being a half something, half Kneazle. O_o; I mean, why would JKR make Crookshanks a half of half unless therewas something to it. O_o; She could've made him a whole cat instead, no?
 
Crookshanks has also used his intelligence for other things to, such as befriending Sirius.
 
DARNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a dream last night that actually made sense(unlike my dream about the 7th book) that had a hint somewhere in it,but now I can't remember the dream anymore!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can remember now is that the basilisk and Tom Riddle were in it,although I don't think that Tom is the prince because J.K. Rowling said that Voldemort wasn't the Prince,and Tom is just Voldie's past. I watched COS 3 days ago,and it still didn't help much.. I'll probably watch it again(even MORE carefully) today. Hmm... 'something small'? Maybe...the Gryffindor sword? Or Fawkes? After all,we still don't know why the Order is called 'Order of the PHOENIX'. But then again,Fawkes and the sword(and the Sorting Hat) were all important in the end. *thinks hard until HBP is already released and she still hasn't thought of anything*
 
-cough-! You missed my post in the bottom of page four in this thread. JKR said that even Tom Riddle wasn't the HBP. =P The only obvious points here are half creatures.
 
the movies suck beans...... 99% of the book is gone from it in them.

something small... something... small..... *shrinks size* hey now that im small maybe i can be the small hero of HBP!!!
