Top 5 favorite Types?

Dunno if there is already something like this, and if so I apologize.

What are your favorite Types, and why? It can apply to the ones you have for Pokemon, or for moves, or whatever. Mine are as follows, in no particular order:

1) Grass. Their HP-draining effects are useful, and I enjoy nature-based things in RPGs, such as druids.
2) Ghost. They are dark but aren't 100% 'evil' like Dark, and their moves kick arse. Shadow Claw, Shadow Ball, Night Shade, and Confuse Ray FTW.
3) Psychic. Psychokinetic powers interest me greatly, and they are quite effective in-game. Though I can say this for all my favorite types, there are also very cool examples of Psychic type Pokemon as well.
4) Flying. Wind is my favorite classical element.
5) Fighting. I'm a fan of the martial arts and the concept of chi energy.

Grass. I like their status-inducing moves such as SleepPowder and Grasswhistle.
Fire. I like their moves that can burn you, and they look awesome.
Water. Simple. I like Blue.
Dragon. I like Dragon Dance.
Ghost. Gengar, ftw.

My top five Pokemon types are...

1. Fighting - I love Pokemon that look like a human. Fighting moves are powerful and cool.
2. Flying - I love Pokemon that look like birds. Flying moves let me have the advantage of going first.
3. Fire - I love Pokemon that burn things. Fire moves weaken the other Pokemon by burning them.
4. Water - I love Pokemon that are underwater. Water moves are cool.
5. Ghost - I love Pokemon that can scare people. Ghost moves are really cool looking.

1. Dark- theyre sooo sinister looking and who doesnt luv umbreon?
2. Fighting- so many dual types and diversity in this type
3. Ice- because im cool (pun intended)
4. Grass- Breloom FTW!

The first one is my favorite the rest are in no particular order.

1.GRASS - What can I say they are just amazing! I love using attacks like vine whip and razor leaf. Those are classic movies<3 Plus Bellsprout is my favorite pokemon.

2.Fire - The I and II generations made great fire types. Good enough that I can ignore the more recent ones and keep fire as one of my favorite types.

3.Ice - Jynx is my gurll, kay?

4.Normal - Normal pokemon are so diverse. They go from a big scary Tauros to an Igglybuff. I think thats rathering intriguing. Although it took me a while to realize how much I like them.

5. Steel - I remember the day I saw a Steelix for the first time. It was love of the steel types at first sight. :)

Normal - My favorite type. Jack of all trades.
Fire - Not enough good fire-types, which is a shame.
Bug - Probably the weakest type in terms of pokemon, but I enjoy using them
Steel - I'm a fan of tanks, and this type has lot.
Ice - Very few pure Ice types, but there moves are a necessity.

Ice: My favourite type since G&S - Fav Moves: Blizzard and Sheer Cold

Dragon: Dragonite and Salamence FTW - Fav Moves: Dragon Dance and Draco Meteor

Psychic: Most of my favourite Pokemon are Psychic - Fav Moves: Zen Headbutt and Psychic

Electric: A lot of fast electric types out there - Fav Moves: Thunder bolt and Thunder wave

I remember the day I saw a Steelix for the first time.

^ I felt the same, too. Plus, I had the same reaction again when I saw Aggron.

1. Steel - Okay, let me get one thing straight; the Pokemon here have some kick-ass designs. Aggron, Steelix, Metagross, Empoleon.. I could go on all day.
2. Electric - Classic, and pretty strong offensively.
3. Flying - Skarmory
4. Water - Used to be my favorite, but there's just too many of them. Stilll, I won't stop liking them for that reason.
5. Normal - Someone else said this, and I agree, there's just so much diversity. Furret to Kangaskhan and back to Ditto. Whoa.

I'll make this short.

Grass: Can be powerful under the sun, and useful with their great speed and many disabling moves like Leech Seed.

Ground: One of the most important attacking types, and I love Earthquake. The ability to absorb electricity is nice too.

Normal: I like how the are capable of hitting many things hard.

Flying: I just love Staraptor, Swellow etc. Brave Bird is also one of my favorite moves.

Electric: Speedy and can hit hard, I like it.

1. Poison - I like the designs, first of all. I like the poison status effect. I like purple.

2. Dragon - I like how they can learn a wide range of attacks from different types.

3. Fire - Powerful moves...I like fire...

4. Rock - Super special awesome designs.

5. ghost - Gengar and Drifloon are delicious. ​

Dragon- Rayquaza!!! Yeahhh!
Water- Swampert.
Fire- Go Charizard! Fire moves are cool too!
Ice- Harsh moves. I love them!
Dark- Darkrai is amazing and so is dark in general.

Yeah thats what I think. I only like these types because of a pokemon of that type.

I'll make this short.

Whoa. Same 5, slightly different order.

Ground: It just gets more diverse and interesting as new games get made.
Grass: Ever since my first Bulbasaur I've liked this type more than the other starter types.
Flying: Bugs or birds, who doesn't like flying?
Normal: Some very cute designs, like Jigglypuff and Chansey.
Electric: Magnemite is my favorite so I've got to put this one in.

Water - #1 since day one
Dragon - Didn't care for them at first, but they grew on me, good stats, good movepools
Ice - More the attacks then the pokemon, Ice Beam has always been my favorite looking attack... real cool graphic in PBR
Flying - I just like it, if only I could teach a Gyarados Fly
Steel - My favorite GSC type

My top favorite types

Water: there are so much water type pokemon and there are so much of them worth liking.
Rock: I have to say reason one when I just got interested in pokemon I saw golem on pokérap and I loved rock types ever since
Ground: Hippopowdon in my opinion is one of the awesomest 4th generation pokemon invented speech done.
Fighting: Hitmonlee is my favorite fighting type even though like scizor they are under rated in the anime.
Poison: I have no idea why but I have to say, muk and weezing were invented. I love them

1) Fire - First type I ever seriously trained (my current Lv. 100 Infernape). Charizard also.... need I go on?
2) Psychic - Espeon is awesome, and Gallade is simply annoying. I rest my case.
3) Dark - Although it's not part of my current roster, my Colosseum Umbreon is a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention, Houndoom is cool.
4) Water - Swampert. One of my favorite Pokémon undoubtedly in battle.
5) Ground - Secondary type of Swampert, and EARTHQUAKE.

Top two are my favorite. The rest are in no particular order, because I'm indecisive like that.

Fire: Who can't love Fire? Besides, Cindaquil was the first Pokemon I ever chose, and this was before I saw the anime or any of the other games. I guess Fire types just hold a bit of a special place and nostalgia in me. Typhlosion is probably my favorite. Good times!

Dark: They have great designs. Period. Absol, Houndoom, Shiftry, Umbreon... They just look so cool! Absol is one of my favorites.

Flying: What kid hasn't wanted to fly, ever? Flying types and nostalgia for the win. Again, I also love Flying type designs. Oh, and Pidgeot is just amazing. I also love the variety they have, from simple birds to ones with dual-typing with Dragon or... Fire.

Ghost: Spooky with more creative designs. I think that's a running theme in the types I like best. Then again, it's just opinion. Oh well. I love Banette, and I really don't care if it does bad competitively. I just do in-game stuff.

Ice: You know what I'm going to say already. Poor Glalie is at the bottom, but I love him anyways. Then there's the epic Mamoswine.

Honorable mention goes to Breloom... who isn't part of any of these types, but I think he deserves a little credit... just because.
