There's a guide in PC's DPPt FAQ:

:P
Dude thats not RNG Abuse, thats Abusing for Shinyness.... I dont even qualify that as RNG Abuse, that is the easeist thing to do ever...... Syndrome means we need a Thread on how to RNG Abuse Wild Pokemon and RNG Breed Flawless Pokemon.....
EDIT: And the Point of haveing one here is so that People having trouble doing it can ask for help and others that know how can answer there questions and help them on the Parts there stuck on

Here's a good suggestion for the trade thread. Someone should fix the glitches in the system.

Glitches? What glitches? If you're talking about the several hour downtime yesterday, there was an announcement over it. If you're talking about the forums not letting you in when it's obviously working, the forum message clearly states there are too many people trying to access the forums and to try again later.

I fail at RNG abusing. I've tried nature abusing a few times and except for the first time when someone walked me through it, they all came out different. xD

Na b, I'm talking about the forum posting my posts twice or not posting my posts and then posting them after I posted something else. It might just be me tho.

-facepalm-
I think that's a univeral problem with all forums. It's difficult to trace what is causing that problem. Your best bet is to refresh to see if your post comes up, then refresh 10 seconds later. It could be lag that's causing it.

Actually, refreshing is a bad idea, and sometimes results in double posts. Just click around until you reach the thread again. Bettah!

Hahaha thats ok the first few times i did it *cough maybe 10 cough* i did it wrong too :/ P mean RNG Abuse dont get me wrong it isnt super hard but it isnt exactly easy, and really its a trial and error thing trust me once you get RNG Abuse youll be able to do it in 10 minutes while it might've took you 40 before XD Dont you think this should be even more motivation to make a Thread to help others out that are stuck/need help with RNG Abuse?

Actually, if it's possible, one on one tutoring works better I suspect. It could be set up like the SSM's battle tutoring thingy. But a thread is the next best thing. xD

Well i dont think one on Tutoring would work very well, as the person would have to have some knowledge on the subject, i mean we cant explain the whole thing to them they need to test it try it and then if somethings wrong come and ask :)
And yes a Thread is the next best thing :D (Still waiting for approval Ursula :3)

Hey guys,
I have seen many trading threads that have ramdomized formats in the Trade Corner and not enough information for me to say,"I want that pokemon." I contacted Ursala about a new format and as I have understood, PokeCommunity does not inforce a format (in the Trade Corner) just yet. I beleive that if we have a format, it will be easier to read these threads. What is your idea about this? If you want an idea of a format I got some ideas.
Thanks,
ShreyasPokemon

Examples of some formats:
Spoiler:

Pokemon @ item
Nature (+stat, -stat)
Ability
Evs
Ivs
Moves
OT

or

Pokemon(item): nature/ ability
Evs
Ivs
Moves
OT
_______

Its a good idea. However, some peoples threads are perfectly readable without using some formats, and anyway there are many people out there who fail to read rules. I'm not surethat enforcing a format is good also because some people just don't want to have too bother.

Having a Format would be tedious. And not everyone has a EV training shop so trying to find the IV's of our events and junk would be too hard >.>

And besides, as SCV said, not all shops look horrible without formats. Much like moi's old one 0:-)

Yes, I have seen a couple og shops that are organized and have a format, but most do not. Even though shops may not have ev trained or iv bred pokemon, they could atleast state that. Most shops I have seen are more like: Gyarados ev'd, Magikarp not ev'd. Aren:t you wondering what the evs are in the first place? Or even the ivs at that matter. And some just list random stats, but stats are not needed. With evs and ivs only with a pokemon up for trade, you can easily determine it:s stats at whatever leve using Psypokes or any other stat calculator. And since most battles are at level 50 or 100 the stats can easily be determined.

If you do not have the iv checking code, atleast take time to do an iv battle with someone to determine ivs. I have gotten a Mantine w/o specifics about evs or ivs, and it said that it is trained, so I assumed that it would have a normal ev spread, but instead, the Mantine:s ivs were perfect, but it was randomly ev trained. I am only trying to improve trading threads to look more specific. Look at my trade thread for example. I have a format that I use. It is perfectly readably and easy to understand. People do not need to think about Nature, evs, or ivs because I give them it:s nature and ivs. I do not give stats. Stats can easily be figured out with simple math.

Thank you,
ShreyasPokemon

You don;t need an IV checking code lol.
Has no one ever heard of Serebii?

not to be offence...but the iv calc there doesnt give a good answer for lv 1 pokemon...
i dont like to raise my pokemon to a certan lv just to cut it off and do it again. iv battles also help get exact ivs

my younger brother thats on serebii and me both use the metal kid version...even though thats off topic

and does anybody know where the hack checking thread is..if there is one? sorry for the stupid question.

Hence, use an IV Battle level 100.

You could put a baby in the daycare until it is about level 10, and then check its IVs.

There is no specific thread, but I believe that you can ask here.

As for the format suggestion... It's up to the trader, honestly. Guidelines or regulations (species, level, nature, legitimacy, shininess or not) can be offered, but can one tell another how to display or organize his/her shop?

No IV calculator is accurate at level 1 since most lv 1 pokemon have stats in between 4-6 at that level. At level 100, as far as I can tell, all IV calculators (that I've encountered so far o_o) are accurate, if you put in the correct EVs. Metalkid's calc is best if you're only checking the IVs of one or two low level pokemon and leveling them. For bigger groups, obviously IV battles are best. >.>

There really isn't a hack checking thread that I know of on PC. The Trade Corner's Chit-chat thread sort of became one after a bunch of people asked for their pokemon checked, but it's unofficial. :D

Edit: Sniped.

There isn't a hack check thread. It's been talked about here, but never done.

I'm guessing mostly because the answer will simply be to do a wi-fi battle and upload the video to check or just use legit.exe

Then again, like the IV calculators, none of them are perfect (ok fine, actually you could open up a savefile in pokesav to find out the exact IVs, but there's no sure-fire way of testing for hacked pokemon, although they are getting better).

Actually that's not the reason why; the reason they aren't allowing it is because they think someone will enter a trade to check it, trade the Pokemon, and steal it, without even thinking for a second and realizing that you don't have to actually trade the Pokemon, you can always see what your opponent has with them. That way it's very easy to check for hacks with no risk. I do it for people all the time.
