I got this audio recorder as a going away present from Professor Juniper and I plan to put it to good use. It will allow for me to make record of my journey while leaving my hands free. As for my trip. It has been postponed to complete an errand for the Professor. She has important business to attend to and so has left it up to me to deliver the two remaining starter Pokemon to Cheren and Bianca. I just got to...get this ribbon tied up here..Gothita could you hold this down...and...you know this is a lot harder than that video tutorial made it seem.

Cheren, yes yes of course come in. Was I taking that long? Well we wanted to make the occasion special. But since your here. Is Bianca coming as well? ...Well then let's wait for her. I want to make sure you can both get the Pokemon you want. I know you're eager to begin your journey but just try to be patient...Huh? Shoot I left this on didn't I.--

Bianca and Cheren have both selected their starters. Bianca chose the Tepig. This left Cheren with Snivy, but he seemed happy with it. The two have decided to have a battle right here in my house. I could stop them. But I've decided this is a great opportunity to do some drawing. Careful Cheren, those are very fragile and very old!

Cheren's Snivy seems to be quite the trouble maker. But Cheren was able to quickly get the Grass type under control. His no-nonsense attitude may do that Snivy some good..No fire attacks in the house Bianca!

Bianca's Tepig is quite intelligent. Patient and dependable. The perfect partner for our clumsy new trainer. Ah. No no Bianca, I mean that in a good way. Oh please don't be mad at me--

Well the room was completely wrecked. I'm not going to worry about it though. That's a problems for later. Much, much later.
It's finally time to begin my journey. We met up with Professor Juniper on Route 1. She showed the Trainers how to capture Pokemon. Now they're making a competition out of who can catch the most between here and the next town. They tried to get me to play as well but I plan to catch them in a different way.

Patrat are a very common sight all around the region. They live in large groups and can be found out in the wilds or in more populated areas. The one i'm observing right now is on guard duty. Patrat are a wary Pokemon, and individuals take turns standing watch over the colony. When they see a threat they...they...heh..hahaha, Gothita. Patrat won't notice threats coming from behind, so I suppose it helps to have someone watching your back.

I encountered a Lillipup just outside of Accumula town. Despite being an entirely domesticated species they still have the capacity to survive out in the wild. Though they seem to prefer staying close to human settlements. They are a brave Pokemon, but also smart enough to know when to flee. I think I saw Bianca catch one in fact. It will be a good Pokemon for her i'm sure. This one is so cute. I'd take him with me, but I'm afraid i'm in no position to be caring for a second Pokemon at the moment. Though I think Gothita is beginning to grow jealous of all the attention he's getting. I'll cut this session short and continue towards Accumula.

Had a strange encounter with a young man who claimed that he could speak to Pokemon. He challenged me to a battle because he wanted to 'hear my Pokemon's voice'. His Pokemon was a Purrloin. Me and Gothita won, if only because the opponents Pokemon did not know any Dark type moves. He said something about wanting all Pokemon to be perfect? Honestly I didn't understand much of what he was saying. He was talking so fast.

All this came after a strange group of people gave a speech in the plaza about Pokemon liberation.....I have to admit, it has me wondering about the true nature of the relationship between Pokemon and people. Pokemon are incredibly powerful and intelligent beings. Could we humans be doing them more harm than good...who knows, maybe i'll find the answer to that while I continue my own research into the latent power of Pokemon. For now, it's getting late. I will rest at the Pokemon Center and make my way to Striaton in the morning.---

Professor Juniper has sent me on another errand for her. She wants me to make a deliver to an acquaintance of her's in Striaton. One Professor Fennel. Honestly if this keeps up I won't have time for my own work. But I do owe Juniper a lot. I wouldn't be on this journey if it wasn't for her. I got to Professor Fennels place but she isn't taking visitors at the moment. The boy was adamant about not letting me through. I guess I'm going to be here for a while anyway. I've heard of some unique Pokemon that can be found just outside of town, in a place called the 'Dreamyard'. --

Well I'm here at the Dreamyard. But my path is blocked by a rather large, thorny bush. I see no safe way around--Oh! Why hello there. Gothita hold on, let's not scare him off now. Well, I have not encountered the Pokemon called 'Munna' but I have found a Purrloin sitting atop a crumbling wall.

Purrloin feature prominently in Unovan tales, believed to be the servants of witches. Or even witches themselves. This bad reputation has continued on into the modern day. But Purrloin are not as bad as the old superstitions tell. They're just like any other Pokemon and-- Ah! Did you come down to say hello. Aw, you're hungry are you. Alright I got just the thing in my bag here. Why don't you have some--Hey! Wait! Get back here! --

The Purrloin ran off with an entire container of Pokemon treats. They were Gothita's favorite treats. We were unable to catch it. It has been 2 hours now and Gothita still refuses to look me in the eye. Gothita please forgive me! I promise I'll get you more treats! --

The local mart is out of the particular treats we want. What luck. I fear Gothita will never forgive me. In other news I learned from a local trainer that the Striaton Gym badge will allow me to teach my Pokemon Cut and get past the tree in the Dreamyard. I suppose I have no choice but to challenge them... Hm?..My Pokemon? Well I've got Gothita here and that's about it. Oh, will you look at those. They are adorable! Yes these would be a huge help during the gym battle wouldn't they..But I couldn't just take one. Besides, Gothita is all I need. But if you wouldn't mind..maybe letting me draw them? Of course I can put you in the picture

The 'Pans' as they're called locally, or the 'elemental monkeys' by others, are a fascinating trio of Pokemon. Popular theory holds that they all shared a common Normal type ancestor. This ancient Pokemon spread out into many different environments. Over time the various populations evolved to suit their respective environments and became the three species we see here today. They are an incredibly popular Pokemon in the region, especially for younger children. Well mannered and easy to train, yet plenty of energy.

Oh geeze, where did the time go. I've still got that delivery to make to Fennel. And the Gym to challenge. I think i'll call this sketch done. Here, i'd love for you to have it. Thank you so much for your advice and your time. Wish me luck--

I've earned the Trio Badge. Those poor guys. I don't think they were prepared for a trainer like me. Typically they decide which of them will battle depending on the starter Pokemon of the challenger. But when they saw that I didn't have a traditional starter. They spent a while talking amongst themselves. Eventually Cilan stepped up to be my challenger. He's skilled, but Gothita won the battle easily. Didn't you Gothita...Ah, I suppose she's still angry with me. But now that i've gotten this badge I should be able to get past that bush. Huh? Oh hello! You're Professor Fennel? Yes actually, Professor Juniper asked me to give this to you. Oh no it was no problem at all! Hm? Well sure, i'd love to see what you've been working on--

We are back in the Dreamyard. Fennel has asked me to find the Pokemon Munna and extract some 'dream mist'. A strange substance created in the bodies of the Munna line. It allows the Pokemon to see into dreams. Fennel hopes to use it to allow passage into dreams. How such a thing could be accomplished, i'm curious to see if it will work. It would be an incredible feat...Bianca? So she sent you too? Sure thing, it's always good to have a little help. Now just remember--Bianca wait! You'll scare it off if you just rush in there!

What? Who are you...Wait, I saw others like you back in Accumula Town. Hold on, don't get too close you'll--Hey! What do you think you're doing kicking it like that! You vile- - - - ----

That lot's been taken care of. A Musharna appeared and created an illusion of their leader. That scared them off. Ergh i'm still..so angry..How could they do something like that while preaching about how humans are hurting Pokemon. The Munna seems to be doing okay now. Huh?

Oh, hi Professor Fennel. Yeah we got held up a little. There were these strangely dressed idiots-- Yeah, what Bianca said. They're gone now. Eh? Would you look at that, so that's dream mist. Alright sure, i'll meet up with you later. But I think i'll stay here for a bit with Bianca. I'd like to find some more of those Pokemon myself--

I've found the very same Munna and Musharna. What luck! I need to keep my voice to a whisper though, and I can't get too close. After a fiasco like that they're sure to be shaken. The Munna line is a fascinating species. A psychic type, they have the ability to see into and feed off of peoples dreams. They share this ability with the Drowzee line. In spite of this it seems the two species have no relation to eachother. Institutes around Unova utilize Munna and Musharna to treat insomnia and various other sleep related issues. Unlike Drowzee they don't get sick from eating a bad dream. What gives the Munna line these mysterious abilities? What is the nature of the dream mist and how do their bodies produce it?...the dream mist...Oh no I forgot--

Simply fascinating. Fennel's machine works like..well..a dream. To think that something like this is possible..and all thanks to the power of Pokemon. Those Team Plasma people....a world where people and Pokemon don't live and work together isn't a world i'd want to live in that's for sure..

Now that i've gotten to study the mysterious Pokemon of the dream yard my next stop will be Nacrene City. They've recently put on exhibit a fossil of a rare Pokemon. I'm excited to see it for myself. Aren't you Gothita? ....Gothita please what do I have to do for you to forgive me--

I had had enough. How dare they? It was just a mistake! It wasn't even Audino's fault!

That morning, I was working at the Pokécenter as per usual. I was taking care of a little girl's Purrloin, who had fainted, when I suddenly heard someone shouting. I peeked over her mom's shoulder, only to see Joy, another nurse, scolding my Audino. I left the Purrloin healing at the machine and ran over to see what was going on.

-… Of course you'd be Marina's Audino! You can't even follow simple orders! How useless!

Audino kept looking down, his eyes filled with tears that I knew he was trying to hold back. I quickly stepped between Audino and Joy.

-May I know what's going on?
-Your dumb Pokémon doesn't even know how to properly bandage a wound! Guess he learned that from you!

She pointed at a Dunsparce that was peacefully sleeping on the other side of the counter, carefully bandaged up. I looked at the bandage. Sure, it wasn't perfectly placed. But it wasn't a disaster either. I had seen way worse bandaging skills from, well, Joy herself.

-Joy, this Audino is literally just a baby. I recently caught it because I needed aid, you can't expect it to know everything right away.
-Well it better learn fast because it's going to get you fired if you keep raising it like this! –Audino tugged slightly at my skirt, eyes filled with guilt and cheeks swollen from crying. I felt my heart shrink. And then I thought about all other times where I had been mistreated like that, ever since I started working as a nurse.

-You know what, Joy? You don't need to fire me, sweetie. I quit. I really have had enough of your nonsense. Oh, by the way… Good luck with that. –I said, pointing at the large queue that had slowly formed while we were arguing. For the first time since I met her, Joy remained speechless. I then turned my back on her, kneeled down and gently pet Audino, smiling sweetly at him. He sobbed quietly. I grabbed his paw and walked out of the Pokécenter, never looking back.

This Pokémon took a shine to you when it recognized your inner dark self. It represents your evil side. It likes to listen to you when you practice guitar, and recently it has started trying to sing along too, although it makes a high pitched sound that scares every Pokémon and trainer around. Must know Screech.

Flygon: (hacking for a shiny is greatly encouraged) Mythical creature, earth tones, kind of resembles a bug.
As a fan of mythical creatures, and since this one is basically a dragonfly, you always dreamed of becoming the master of one of these deadly Pokémon. You find it funny when it tries to sing along to your music, because it has such power that its voice is able to shatter the ground. You like the chaos this implies. Must know Sonic Boom until it learns Earthquake. From then on, Earthquake will replace Sonic Boom and remain in Flygon's moveset.

Trainer mission: You love performing and giving everyone a good show, but for this, you need props. You must collect every single prop for Pokémon musicals (Optional). You also have an inner teacher, and you enjoy teaching things, especially to smart kids. You must use, at least, 3 Clever and Genius wings on your Pokémon.

Log 01 Season: Summer

As I stood at the entrance of Virbank City, staring while my idol storms off screaming obscenities because of an older man in a sailor uniform. Only one thought could pass through my mind. "What the flip is wrong with today?!" Oh, apparently it decided to pass through my lips too!

Let's rewind a bit. Sup! Call me Polly, or P1! Neither are actually my name, but it's gonna be my stage name when I make it big, so if I can get used to it now? All the better! You see, I've always loved music, ever since I saw a certain Toxic Base Guitarist on TV. It was an instant thing: The stage, the lights, the ENERGY! I loved it… It didn't take long for me to begin begging my parents for a guitar, and though it took a couple of years I managed to save enough for one, with them supplying some basic lessons. Then Roxie became a battler, a leader. Seeing that little red bug inspired me to look for my own, leading to finding my closest friend and companion. Ivy was always a little shy, but still loved music almost as much as I, so when I got the idea to travel around and find my own sources of inspiration, my own driving force of creativity: we were more than happy to go for it.

So here I am, Aspertia City, with no idea how much I am going to regret my decisions. To begin: Apparently Aunt Lily has connections with a Pokemon Professor, who knew? She also apparently had no idea that I already had a Pokemon and that I wasn't too keen on having another any time soon, so she apparently signed me up to receive a freebie from said professor in exchange for working on something called the 'Pokedex'. I frankly wasn't that interested, and so that's exactly what I told the young woman who was to deliver them (Hereby referred to as 'Green Gal', because it's funny. And definitely not because I was only half listening when she was talking and so didn't actually catch her name….)

She seemed a bit upset, which made me feel kinda bad, but the worst was yet to come. You see, while I was stumbling around the town trying to find Green Gal, I managed to pick up a little follower (Hereby referred to as 'Brat', because he was so loud and annoying I didn't even bother to learn his name). So when Brat found out I had a Pokemon, he immediately challenged me to a fight. Brat had this small pig, assumedly a fire type from the smoke billowing out of its snout. A fire type against a bug type? It should have been an easy win for the Brat, yet surprisingly after Ivy steamrolled it with [Rollout] a few times it crumbled like paper. Apparently, it was too weak to produce anything but smoke at the moment.

So Green Gal drags me to a PokeCenter (Even though I was the one who won, almost untouched, what the hell?!) and as soon as Ivy's done healing, Aunt Lily and a little girl (I think she may have been Brat's sister, they looked a bit alike.) handed me two maps and told me to take one to the brat, apparently the kid charged off ahead without thinking: and obviously they're worried. Since it would take a load off their minds I decided to give it a go, strolling out of town with two maps shoved in my pack.

Strangely though, as soon as I left into Route 19 I saw a short figure I vaguely recognised. Green Gal? Apparently, she was there to… teach me how to catch Pokemon? How did she think I got Ivy? Magic?! No! Obviously, I bought Ivy with 3 oran berries and half a head of cabbage! Sadly, she seemed hell bent on this idiocy, so I stood there and watched with as much sarcastic scorn as I could physically muster as I watched her show me what a Pokeball was, as if I hadn't had one clipped to my belt the entire time I had known her. Though afterwards she gave me a number of pokeballs: Which I was genuinely happy to thank her for. Though after parting ways I have to admit, I prefer her to the psychotic old man jumping off a cliff… Wait. PSYCHOTIC OLD MAN JUMPING OFF A CLIFF?!

Wigglytuff- Blissful, Mammal, likes Jigglypuff- The star of the show, at least this Pokemon thinks they are. Insists on going out first in battle. Must know at least 1 sound based move at all times.

Cradily- Seem to prefer Grass types, classic Rock, History: You first found this fossil as a young boy camping out with your family. You were always interested in the ancient past and took it with you on your adventure. You could have never imagined the secrets that it held. Needs to keep Ancient Power

Trainer Class Challenge: If the whole 'becoming the regional champion' doesn't work in your favor, you've got a plan B for your re-entry into stardom. Contests. All your Pokemon must win at least one Master Rank competition, any kind
or if that's too difficult just be sure to participate in a contest anytime you pass through a town with a contest hall. Put your name out there. Build up a fan base.

Oh Audino! That's such a brilliant idea!

I looked around, taking Aspertia's fresh air in. I sat at the stairs that led to the Aspertia outlook, and Audino clumsily tried to climb them to sit by my side. I chuckled at the small Pokémon, offering my hand to help it sit on my lap. Realization had just hit me: what am I to do now? I have always worked at the Pokécenter as a nurse. I need some sort of income… Especially now that I have my first Pokémon... I directed my worried gaze towards Audino, who was just contentedly playing with my hair. The feelers of its ears started moving and he looked back at me, tilting his head. Then he looked around, suddenly pointing towards the passage that led to Route 19. I frowned, not understanding what he wanted. He got off my lap and ran through the passage. I quickly followed him. The lady at the passage tried to stop me, since she knew I didn't have a Pokémon with me. I told her that the Audino that had just gone by was mine, so she let me through, giving me a Potion to commemorate the extremely difficult milestone of having one Pokémon. When I reached Audino, it started pointing frantically at two teens that were training on the fields of Route 19. Then I suddenly understood what it all meant: they were trainers! If I beat the Elite Four challenge, I would get lots of money!

-But… Sweetie, you are made for healing. Are you telling me you want to do the opposite of what you were born to do? –Audino first gave me a confused look, then he flexed his nonexistent biceps, giving me his best roar:
-Au… dino…? –I once again chuckled at the innocence of the Pokémon, petting it lovingly.
-Alright, then. We're never going back to the Pokécenter. From now on, we'll do our own thing. But we have to train if you want to be powerful.

We spent two hours training until he was looking a bit more… defenseless. Since I've decided I'm going on strike, I'll use my own ways to heal Audino. Thankfully, when I reached Floccesy Ranch, I met a kind farmer who agreed to heal my Pokémon if I helped her look for her lost Herdier. The poor dog was being harassed by a man in a funny looking costume that claimed to be a "Team Plasma member"? Crazy people am I right. We spent the night at the ranch. I would move on to Virbank City next morning.

I obtained Pikachu from professor Oak but we don't really get along at all. It might be because of the intense training to level 16 I put him through. Once that was done, we challenged Brock to a double team contest and through lucky rng we managed to beat him without having to grind any further.

The next morning, we woke up and waved goodbye to the nice lady at the ranch to move on to Virbank City. We went through the passage after having trained for a little bit, and finally reached the city. I took a deep breath, feeling the slightly contaminated air flow in and out of my lungs. Audino and I explored the place. We reached a place called the Virbank Complex. There, something caught my eye: it was a wounded street pup. The poor Growlithe had claw and bite marks all over his leg, which led me to believe he had been ganged up on by other dogs. Even though he was hurting - blood steadily coming out of the injuries - he still happily wagged his tail when I came closer to take a look at his wounds. With the help of Audino, I was done bandaging the puppy in no time! We bid farewell to the small dog and moved on. Just when we were about to leave the Complex, I heard a noise behind me. I stopped walking and shook my head, thinking it was all in my head. But then I started walking and heard noise again. When I turned around, I saw the injured Growlithe. He sat down and looked at me with his round, twinkling eyes; his tail wagging endlessly and his head tilted to one side. The dog gave me the baby doll eyes, whimpering sadly. I turned my head to Audino immediately, and there he was… making the exact same face.

-Ah! Really? You want a new friend? –I said, facepalming and laughing.
-Au… dino! –He answered. The puppy let out an excited bark when I grabbed a Pokéball out of my bag. I threw the Pokéball at the Growlithe. After having shaken thrice, the Pokéball glowed and stopped moving.
-Well… I guess you're mine now huh… -I opened the Pokéball and Growlithe jumped into my arms, licking all over my face and barking loudly before jumping off my arms and proceeding to do the same to Audino. Growlithe then quickly ran and stood in front of Audino and me, lifting his chin proudly. Seems like he wanted to lead! We trained all afternoon. I was sure we'd be able to stand up to Roxie's power!

It sometimes is very arrogant tho and often despises the other two members of your party when they are playing with each other. It powers up your team, not only with its electricity. Furthermore it isn't a big fan of Doubles since it doesnt really get along with fighting alongside another team member.
-> Its very confident, has to have Thunder instead of Thunderbolt ASAP. No Doubles allowed.

Sneasel/Weavile (likes ice types, confident, smart, i guess nepal since there is snow in the mountains, neutral evil) - Sneasel is honest with you from the start, it is unsure if it wants to be a Weavile later on, since a Weavile killed his parents when he was a baby. Its going to be your desicion, since Sneasel will accept if you get him evolved anyways. Sneasel wins his battles less with brute force, but instead uses his brain and uses his speed. His personality will be the same whether he stays a Sneasel or evolves: A very talented fighter, but less with force like Jolteon, but with smart desicions. He thinks he is a great addition to your team, thats why he loves being used in important battles. I think Sneasel is the most interesting part about your adventure, even if you might not be able to trade it for evolution.
-> Needs to have a priority move (learns Quick Attack and Ice Shard on Level up), also try to get max. friendship

Trainer Class: Advocate and Leader of all good things Pokemon- You are a new and upcoming challenger in the Pokemon Parliament. As part of the nationwide election you decided to get as much word out about this election and your goals as to many people as possible. This also allows you to get first hand experience as to what it feels like to be a trainer. With confidence you decided to follow the footsteps of a legendary trainer while travelling to many cities and regions to spread the word about your goals as a future Advocate and Leader of all good things Pokemon. You will go around Unova learning as much as you can about pokemon, compete in the league, learn about mega evolution and even participate in contest, exposure is good for your campaign.

Pokemon:

1). Since you love both the birb and the wolf, i decided as your first and main pokemon is the fletching line, you and the fletching will harbour many relations and discover as much of kalos as you can. Once you obtain him/her, you have to always lead with him/her in every encounter. Your are allowed to evolve as well. As he/she is the trusty birb by yourside, you will have to teach it fly as well. As well since you want to show the people of Kalos you are calm and collected, you stand up for them but aren't reckless, this means no moves can be taught that has recoil.

2). Since you are lover of the art of hip-hop your second pokemon will be the Panchem line, you must use him/her to win contest and show off your killer dance moves!! As a requirement since dance is all about the art of connecting moves, the panchem should know a move such as reversal or vital throw (up to you)

3). Since electric is your favourite, i say go for heliosk line, no requirements for moveset.

Cloyster(beach, ice type, confident, neutral evil) - This Cloyster is a trickster, it knew how to protect itself before. It used to beat Cloysters even when it itself still was a Shellder. No wonder its so confident, but after you catched it, it quickly becomes a good friend of you. The main thing about this Pokémon is it always liked its Ice side more than its Water side, because its parents raised it pretty harshly .
-> Can't evolve until it gets an ice move.

Glad you like your team! Also I double checked, unless I can gen I can't get a shelder without good or super rod, super rod is in kanto and I can only get one fishing via good rod near either in victory road or safari zone near the end too. If you want to keep it an ice type I can probably get either a seel or lapras earlier on, idk which would fit the trainer class you made up for me. Or it could even be something very engineery (if that's a word), like man made pokemon's or something very da Vinci like smeargle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
