  • Since you only have Bellsprout now, you can use Chikorita, but I'd train Bellsprout more knowing that you'll ditch Chikorita later. :3

ok thanks, here's the first update

    • Started game and chose Chikorita
    • Defeated rival, named Silver
    • Caught Bellsprout, named Gluttony
    • Cleared Bellsprout Tower
    • Beat Falkner and got the first badge
    • Cleared the tunnel to Azalea Town
    • Defeated Team Rocket, Gluttony evolved.

    Here's my team so far:

  • Wow...this is beautiful! For whatever reason I felt very excited while reading this. xD Glaceon is one of my favorite Pokemon, as is Houndoom, and Starmie...to be honest, I never cared much for it, but this should be a nice change of pace. (: Thank you so much!
Just one thing though, I'm kinda iffy on the Nuzlocke-style rule...could I possibly modify it to outright ban the use of Revive items?
Also, Twist Mountain is kinda...late in the game. Would it be okay for me to hack in a Glaceon at the beginning at lv. 5?

And now I'd like to give back to this thread because it's so awesome. I think at least two people already claimed making a team for dragonfyre's friend, so I moved on to the next person:

sorry i am posting so late on but here i go:
    USERNAME: shady_pete
    GAME: emerald
    GENDER:male
    Spoiler:

also just for the record i cant hack emerald ok =)
sorry i needed to edit one of the questions due to me reading it wrong. lol

    (Disclaimer: The trainer's backstory is not meant to reflect the life of the person behind the screen. Please forgive me if you're offended, I know nothing about your past ><;
Also, sorry, no images; I apparently need more posts..)

    Spoiler:

Hit me with a response for any comments, questions, concerns, and complaints you might have. I don't really think I'm that good at this, but I tried my best >< And making this team was really fun! I hope you like it!

Oh yes, definitely ban Revives. I guess that thought slipped my mind, but yeah, don't use Revive items.

And hacking in Glaceon is perfectly fine!

Oh, wait...I worded that wrong; I meant to ask if instead of the Nuzlocke-style rule, I could make it so that I can't revive Pokemon in battle/in the field instead.
    Cool, I'll get started tomorrow.

    I'm stealing dragonfyre173's format because it's nice.

You placed your three favorite pokemon in three favorite pokemon TYPES, and it would be uncreative to give you those so...yeah.

You never said if you could or couldn't trade/hack, so I tried to give you Unova pokemon.

    Spoiler:
    .

Thank you! Though, unfortunately, my brother started playing the White Copy I was going to play, so I'm either going to do one of the following:

    A) Emulate
B)Play the Hack " Manly Pink" which is a Fire Red Version of Unova
    C) Restart my Black Cartridge (;w;)

Once I figure something out I'll tell y'all. Also, looking at my team, I would have to solo with my Starter until the 2nd Gym, that would be allowed right? Or can I trade it a Sigilyph/Churine/Shellmet?

EDIT: Could I also have 1 more Special Mission? Just using Berries is kinda meh, and other members having a plethora of missions kind of makes me jealous~

Oh, and from the suggestions I showed her to explain the challenge, she said she'd prefer Elgyem write hers XP Sorry if it's a pain, she just really liked his description of XxTOOLxX's challenge. I'm fine with any as long as it's at least a little descriptive XD

  • Sorry I haven't posted yet, I've had a lot of homework lately. Well, today was my last day of school before Winter Break, so now I can make some good progress. Anyways, here's my first update:

-Started out, spammed the A button through the boring intro
-Obtained a Chikorita from Prof. Elm, nicknamed it "Yoshi"
-Got my Pokegear from my mom
    -Went through Route 29
-Got the Running Shoes from the old man in Cherrygrove
-Ground through Route 30 to get to Mr. Pokemon's house
-Went back to Cherrygrove city and, as I was leaving, I fought my rival
-Talked to Elm, wasforced allowed to go on my adventure
    -Went back to Route 30
-Caught a Lv2 Naughty Spinarak. Named it Roosevelt. (I'm going to name my 3 Pokemon after the Allied leaders in World War II)
    -Ground Roosevelt up to Lv5

That's where I left off. Next, I'm going to get on my Platinum to breed a Tyrogue (which will be named Churchill), and a Houndour (Stalin).

  • Update #2

    • Beat my rival Silver
    • Beat Bugsy and got my second badge

    • Taught Puppy Dig in place of Ember
    • Beat Whitney and got my third badge
    • Beat Sudowoodo, got to Ecruteak and got Surf
    • Ran past the route to Olivine and got the Good Rod

My team up at the moment:
    Trainer Personality Examination

    Time for my first update!

    > Named myself Dragon.
    > Got my starter, Treecko. How convenient, the starters in this hack are the Hoenn starters!
    > Named Treecko Gin. NOT AFTER THE DRINK. He's named after a character in Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor.
    > Went through the intro jazz, named my rival Silver.
    > Made it to Cherrygrove City and spent my 500P toll on 2 Parlyz Heals and an Antidote
    > Made it to Violet City and spent my 500P toll on 2 PokeBalls and an Antidote
    > Gin evolved into a Grovyle while in Sprout Tower
    > Challenged Falkner with only Gin, at Lv.20.
    [ GIN vs. FALKNER]
Very difficult fight, since he had a full team of six. My roster:
    Gin Lv.20 @No Items
Moves: Pursuit, Fury Cutter, Magical Leaf, Double Kick

    Falkner's roster:
    Doduo Lv.12
    Chatot Lv.12
    Farfetch'd Lv.12
    Murkrow Lv.12
    Hoothoot Lv.14
    Pigeotto Lv.15

Falkner always sent them out in that order, and then had the same fighting pattern. Doduo would use peck, and I'd take him out with two or three double kicks, depending on if he used a potion. Then Chatot would come out, and it'd either use Hypnosis or Uproar, which took out a good chunk of my health by the time he was downed. Farfetch'd was a real problem. Its Aerial Ace took out around 2/3 of my health, so I had to defeat it ASAP. If I'm alive by then, Murkrow and Hoothoot were a cinch, so I'd heal up during the fight with hoothoot. (Yes, I know my challenge says "no potions", but I can't get the drinks until Goldenrod, and I need potions for this XD) Pidgeotto had MUCH higher defense, so it took a few hits from either magical leaf or double kick to down it, during which it could rape me with wing attack. Still, somehow I won,and I walked out with a badge to prove it. So! My current team:

    Trainer Personality Examination

Also, could I hack in a Miltank, or do I have to wait until I can catch one in the wild? Because if I wait, I have to go through two more gyms with my Grovyle solo, and that'll be a pain in the arse. Or at least have the 50K rule for my Whismur lowered down to 10K or 20K?

    ...Okay...

Pick two of Sigilyph's moves (one status, and one "attack" move--physical or special). It has to use those two moves through the entire game, and can never delete them. He has to remember certain positions in the forest, and in battle it's no different.

Accelgor has to fight any dual-type pokemon you come across, unless he's fainted. He's the specialist in mixing chemicals, so dual-types are also his specialty.

Hmm... I think I can wait on the Miltank if I have the Whismur price lowered to 10,000 or 15,000. And I'm only saying this because I just found a wild Whismur XD

How about 20,000 then? Cause the way I see it, 100 Poke = 1 Dollar (1 Poke = 1 Cent) so 20,000 is just 2,000 Dollars. Sounds fair enough.

Wait, I don't quite get Sigilyph's, let's say I pick Psychic and Roost, I can only use those moves or can I use my other 2? Does it have to be the 2 moves it knows when I first catch it?

And about Accelgor, does this count for Wild Pokemon aswell? Because there would be a trouble in grinding, seeing how Audino's are (slightly) rare in Blaze Black. And what if I find a dual-typed Grass Pokemon (Oddish, Tropius, ect.) would I have to use Accelgor or Liligant? Could I use either/or?

    Missed one.

    A) USERNAME: InfernoRogue
    B) WHICH GAME: Sapphire
    C) GENDER: Female

    Spoiler:

    Constructions Manager
You like the fresh air of the city, the smell of pollution smacked right into your face in the morning with a cup of coffee in your hand. There's also the tinge of iron and timber wafting into your nostrils. Sounds bonk into your head as hammers collide against the nails. You are a constructions manager, watching everyone as they build something so that they don't kill themselves in the process.

    Team:
Shedinja is the enigmatic bug. It has a unique Ghost-typing. It's also rather slender. This pretty much fits the bill when you're talking about make sure no one falls off the building site. Its immunity helps too. It can keep a watchful eye on all of your construction workers and without the worry of getting into peril is a plus.
    Trainer Personality Examination

Machamp is the epitome of muscles. It's the Fighting-type that is the perfect slave worker, especially in construction since it has four arms and can hammer at 4x the speed. That's marvelous! Machamp is simply your typical worker, except he doesn't ask for a raise every few hours. He's too good for a raise; he likes working out and working at the same time.
    Trainer Personality Examination

Absol is also rather enigmatic. It's also intelligent, so the name of disaster fits it well. It's more like your relaxing pet. It's slender build and fur help you relax in times of stress, especially when a worker of yours breaks his/her neck. Then again, it could have caused it to happen but you're willing to overlook that.
    Trainer Personality Examination

    Special Missions
You keep a clean record book. Making sure that all of the injured are fired promptly is your job. It's a harsh job, but you get the sadist enjoyment out of it because you got over it years ago. In turn, you don't really use healing items. You can't use any healing items in the field, this includes the Elite Four challenge.

Machamp is abused. It's unintentional of course, and he almost prefers it. It's weird, it's almost like it wants to be a victim. Nevertheless, it has very low constitution. Thus, Machamp must be the highest level on your team. It must also possess the highest attack, though this will come subsequently with the higher level.

You can use another two, and yes, the first two when you catch him.

Accelgor's only applies for trainer battles, and it's your choice for Dual grasses.
