OOC: I do have to go for a while now, but at least we can get our pokemon out before I have to go.

"Go, Raichu!" I said, and in a flash, he appeared, with it's tail glowing from the electric charge.
 
Nat appeared once again to challenge the Gym leader to a rematch, but found him battling another trainer. With the fire of battle burning in her eyes, she sat to watch them battle, mentally calculating her moves as she watched earnestly for any mistake.
 
OOC: I've been officially grounded from the computer until further notice, this post is breaking the rules, and may be my last for a while.

"Brick break!" I shouted, and raichu rushed forward to deliver the blow.
 
OOC: So much for me challanging the Leader to a rematch...
 
OOC: back, for a little while, but still on probation.

Raichu waited, it had been in this situation before, and all it did was gather up it's energy for the attack that was about to happpen.
 
OOC: still, don't get grounded... doesn't help any of us

IC: Lanturn surfaced, and using the rain, slammed into the Raichu with the after effect of Dive
 
Raichu grabbed a hold of the lanturn, and rather than zapping it, it began to slowly drain the lanturn's electrical power

OOC: By the way, check the last post in the insanity club flygon_trainer.
 
Lanturn really did not enjoy being grabbed, and used his tail to slam the Raichu into the wall, then used Surf on it... "very unhappy lanturn" I commented
 
It was time to unveil my secret weapon, the reason Raichu had never been defeated.

"Volt Tackle!" I shouted, and suddenly, covered by an aura of lightning, Raichu literally flew at the lanturn, with massive force. If the lanturn could manage to hold all the electricity launch at it, then it'd still have a raichu flying at the speed of a bullet to hit it.
 
I saw lanturn beginning to heal from the volt absorb. "NOW!" I shouted, and raichu began sapping out electrical energy at an alarming rate, several times faster than before, since volt absorb left almost all of a pokemon's power open. Some of the electricity was recharging his power, some of it healing itself through it's own volt absorb.
 
OOC: uh.. volt absorb only heals...

IC: Lanturn used Surf again, then began repetivly using thunder on itself, recharging it's health to full...

OOC: And surf conjures a wave out of nowhere, even indoors. I'm trying to add some realisim here.

IC: Raichu recoiled from the surf, but landed on it's feet, waiting for it's oponent to move.

OOC: 1:19 pm here, possible 1:20. I have to go offline for an hour or two at 1:30, but I'll be back as soon as I can.
 
OOC: convinent timing.. my brain is starting to get scattered...

IC: Lanturn was getting pretty tired, so I let it stay put for the turn... almost instantly, it seemed re-energized, and ready for more... but it couldn't strike at the moment, so I decided to wait....
 
Raichu leapt forward, and swung it's tail tightly around Lanturn's, well, lamp.
This was a smarter move than it seemed, because while neither could do any harm or good to the other with electric attacks this way, and if lanturn tried a move like surf or dive, they'd be pulled together, which limited them to physical attacks.
