Transportation

In all the Pokemon games, you have many options for moving from place to place. You can:

Surf
Fly
Ride your bike
Take a boat
Take the train (From Johto to Kanto)


Which is your favorite way of moving from one place to another? I like to ride the bike a lot when traveling in my games.

If I didn't mention a way of transportation above, feel free to use one of your own ways.

Flying, because it's quick and easy. You don't run into wild Pokemon while flying, and I've always wanted to fly in real life.

When I need to go over a long distance, I use Fly. When I'm on the ground, I run most of the time, but sometimes I use a bike. I also like Surfing, but running into Tentacool, Wingull, Frillish or other Pokemon again and again is annoying.

I'll usually just walk at 5000% speed, unless we're talking about huge distances or really annoying caves. In that case I'll usually Fly.

Most of the time I ride bike. I like bikes. Flying on Pidgey is nice too.

Whether short or long distances, I use Fly. And by short distances, I meant training near the city in the tall grass.

Otherwise, I cycle with Repel on effect.

Boats, particularly SS Aqua since there are always trainers to battle onboard.

Flying; for when I want to get to the opposite end of the map or something. Most of the time I'll just bike. Boats... I'm pretty sure all the boats you go on don't move until you're off them? lol

i always used the running shoes cus i love seeing my pkmn follow me. but when im hatching eggs or in a hurry i use the bike. flying is my favorite though. if only the surfing sprite looked like the actual pokemon instead of a wailmer.

on the next game wouldnt it be so cool if some pkmn were rideable? like instead of a bike your riding on a rhyhorn lol.

I like the boats due to all the trainers you get to face on them :3 Although running with pokemon is cool too :D I do like the idea of riding pokemon, haha!

I like to fly, ride on the bike, run and surf, depends on the distance. XD;

Fly is the easiest, fastest, and most convenient, though IRL I don't think I'd like the idea of flying around on the back of a Pokemon...
