OOC: Poor Minako's going to die having to read all this when she gets back. XD

Miyako & Needles
--------------------

"Hi Kuro!" Needles said happily. He really did love to meet new people. They all looked so nice and different than the others he knew back home. This was great; he really ought to recommend this to Miyako, she could use some fun.

Miyako gave a frustrated twitter, and moved a bit closer to the group. She didn't want to look like she was a part of them, yet she didn't want them to do something without her. Needles was all into it too, the fool. If it wasn't for her, he probably would have gotten eaten by something or killed by a shadow pokemon.

OOC: Meh... I think you transferred writer's block to me Plushie... X3

OOC: It must be because I'm concentrating on another RP.. And yet we can't continue because a certain member is offline. XD

I will wait for Alter or Charon to post before I post an IC, because it's going to take me a while to think up another IC. o.O

{Urgh...sorry...I hate maths homework...By the way, can someone tell me if I'm spelling 'Girafarig' right?}

Boudicca nodded at Kindle's words. "Yeah. I guess I am, in a way. But they ain't got no where to go, and who am I to turn them away?"

She listened to the other pokemon's chatter, pausing at Needle's words. "See, I heard thatr girafarigs were tempermental beasts, and often got vicious for no reason." for a moment, she eyed Twilight warily, as if challenging her to retort, but she seemed to decide against it, and ploughed on. "Of course, I don't believe it. They say disaster will follow me wherever I go, but so far I appear to leave this country intact."

Pandora was looking at Kuro carefully. For a second, she just bit her lip, and then:
"Taaaaaail!" she cooed, and launched herself at Kuro's back end. Caesar rolled his eyes.

Twilight seemed to chuckle softly to herself at Boudicca's comment, ears twitching slightly.

"You know.. That describes my father perfectly.. Really it does. But that's only because the Vigoroth wake him up too early." She stated, once again falling silent to let others speak.

She almost broke out in laughter as Pandora flew towards Kuro to grab his tail, but she resisted the urge. It was tempting, though, seeing how it reminded her of the time the younger ones did something like that to a Persian a while back.. In her clan.

Now that she thought about it, it was getting quite late. She wondered about heading back down the hill to return to the clan, but decided against it. They were sure to punish her should she return.

OOC: That certain RP wouldn't happen to have a name starting with the first letter of the alphabet, would it? XD But yeah, poor Minako. I know the pain she must face. Myself, I had to read some 10-something pages after just a bit beyond one day of absence because certain people had gone on a posting spree in the old Armageddon RP. *Mock-cough* Any idea who these people could have been, Plushie? XD

IC:

"I think I know what you mean." Kindle replied, throwing a meaningful glance at the Meowth beside her "Although truth to be told there are plenty of people who believe themselves to be in a position to do such things. Anyhow, these stereotypical definitions are all a load of rubbish." she continued "Nothing but a dysfunctional relic from the human era. People are individuals, there will always be both good and bad ones" her tone indicated that she had had her fair share of both in her lifetime "You can't categorize like that."

"Ack!" Kuro, who had been silently following the conversation this far, exclaimed as a small but surprisingly heavy Cleffa suddenly latched itself onto his tail with a cooing sound. "Um, yes...it's a tail." he said, wondering if it would be too rude to just pull the little creature off. The Meowth shot a pleading look to Kindle, but the Torchic pretended not to notice. You're on your own kid. she thought for herself, smirking ever so slightly at Kuro's predicament You can't always expect me to be there for you.

Boudicca cocked her head to one side, spotting the worried expression on Twilight's face. "My dear," she said softly, coming to sit by Twilight's side, "Is there something wrong?" In an instant, her face was a picture of concern.

Pandora was making little clucking noises and cuddling it, rubbing her face against it and completely oblivious to Kuro's discomfort. "D'awww, purdy tail..."

{*cries* gosh, you lot all have so much history! *sniffs jealously*}

OOC: Why, yes, Alter, it DOES start with the first letter of the alphabet! And it is a remake! XD

I have absolutely no idea where you get the idea about an Armageddon RP, though. Positively absurd.

IC:

Twilight now watched with interest as Kuro tried to deal with Pandora. It was actually quite funny to her, but now that she felt like laughing again, she forced herself not to.. It would be very much rude.

When Boudicca asked her if there was something wrong, Twilight shook her head slowly, deciding to banish the clan from her thoughts, just for the moment.

"What you say is true. Yeah.. Most things are still based off of those old human opinions. Have any of you ever dreamt about humans?" Twilight asked, referring to Kindle's comment, asking the question without a second thought, then later realizing that it may not have been the best thing to ask, seeing as how speaking of such things were forbidden to most Elders..

OOC: Well, I've gotta go to lunch. Melissa is starving! XD

Miyako & Needles
-------------------

Needles nodded at the Torchic's words. He was sure of that too. Suddenly it seemed rather foolish to have even believed the stereotype that he had heard when he himself was an exception to a stereotype. He suspected that those things from the human era were very powerful indeed.

"I've never seen one in my dreams. Ever wonder what humans are like?" Needles ventured, suddenly thinking of the subject, "Do you really think they're all bad like the Elders say?" He had always wondered this, and found it hard to believe that anyone could be worse than his own kind. Like Kindle had said, there were bound to be good ones.

Miyako huffed a bit. "Don't be an idiot again Needles, why would the Elders have lied about something like that?" she said gruffly, feeling annoyed. She wasn't the biggest fan of the Elders, but she saw no gain in anyone lying about humans.

EDIT: Had to change the answer to Twilight's question. ^-^

OOC: Grr, I typed Twilight's question wrong. Edit time! XD

Boudicca shook her head. "Sometimes, I doubt they exist."

"They do, though!" Caesar piped up, for the first time. He glared at Pandora, who was being an embaressment, as usual, before continuing. "The elders say they don't exist, but they're those huge towers off at sea where Articuno lives... who built that, then?" he said, before adding sulkily on the end: "God, you're all such retards." and rolled his eyes.

Boudicca gave him a stern look, but knew better than to argue with him.
"I think they all died out a long time ago. The myths said they were left alone in their dying world - I doubt they could survive."

OOC: Whatever you need to tell yourself, Plushie. Whatever you need to tell yourself...^^

Oh, and I'm changing the name of the old Magmar who raised Kindle. I'll edit that into the sign-up sheet when I get a minute.

IC:

"Dreamt about humans?" Kindle echoed, shaking her head "I can't say that I have. Reina might..." she added, remembering that he often wondered if the old Magmar wasn't as old as the world itself, or even more so. "She was already alive at that time, I believe. But I haven't. I'm part of the new generation as it were. And yes, I have heard the myths as well." she added thoughtfully at Boudicca's remark "But they also speak of 'machines', strange beings without heart or soul that the humans possess, some say that they can use them to shield themselves from weather and wind, heal each other and even kill people and destroy lands." the Torchic frowned, "They're probably just stories, though."

"N-now pleasee." Kuro protested weakly, beginning to feel seriously uncomfortable with this persistent and almost heartbreakingly cute Cleffa's continued attraction to his tail. "Let go, that's not a toy."

Pandora's lip wiggled, but Boudicca very tactfully leant out a paw and scooped Pandora back towards the absol's chest. "Shush shush, my sweet! You leave that Meowth alone!" she said, before winking at Kuro. "Sorry! she whispered to him, as the Cleffa began cuddling Boudicca's leg again.

Now the distraction of Kuro had vanished, Pan was looking at Twilight. "I dreamt of a human. She was very pretty, and she was cuddlin' and talkin' to a clefable, and she sez, she sez: 'Plush, don't cry...' an then I see, I sees the clefable is cryin'..." Pandora frowned seriously, an expression that didn't suit her pudgy pink face at all. "Are they mean?" she asked, eventually.

Caesar and Boudicca were both listening intently now. "How strange..." Boudicca said quietly. She had always been one to believe only in what she could see - straight forward facts. But if Pandora was dreaming... she wasn't old enough to have an imagination yet, so Boudicca knew she wasn't lying.

{EDIT: There we go, squished in a dream there... Pandora's ancestors are going to be my human character's ancestor's pokemon.... That was a mouthfull. o_o;}

"Really? What to they look like? Are they big?" Twilight asked, her curiousity sparking once more. She stopped at the third question, not really wanting to over-load the Cleffa with such things.

Well.. It was still very interesting. This Cleffa was obviously very young, so she could never have seen a human before.. And yet she had dreamed of one..

OOC: WRITER'S BLOCK! DIEEEE!!!

Pandora pulled a face, obviously thinking hard. "Really tall... but skinny-like. With...fur only on their heads, an'....an'.... lumps here." she clapped a hand to her chest, and then giggled at the strangeness of it. "They look like Blaziken..... less scary, thoooough."

Boudicca smiled at her little charge's description. "That doesn't sound very realistic, Pandi." She scolded jokingly.

"It's alright." Kuro replied quietly, now feeling regretfull about having made the Cleffa sad. He listened intently as the little normal type related the tale of one of her dreams.

"Are you saying..." Kindle interjected sceptically "...that the terrible destroyes of worlds look like my mom...except that they aren't as scary?" she shook her head "I'm afraid that I will have to agree that that doesn't sound very realistic."

OOC: Okay.. Now I feel sorry for Minako. XD

IC:

"They.. They sound so harmless.. When you describe them.." Twilight commented softly, her mind at a loss for words after that. Feeling the need to move the conversation forward, she found another question to ask.

"Hey.. It seems.. Well, strange that you are all not a part of my clan. There's no other clan for miles around. Would you mind telling me why you are here all of a sudden?" Twilight asked, hoping that she didn't sound rude or anything.

Well.. She really wanted to know.

Boudicca laughed, and nuzzled the little Cleffa affectionately. "Ahhh, remember Kindle, she's young." Pandora giggled, and patted Boudicca's forehead; the absol's entire face was about as big as Pandora's whole body, and it was an almost comic scene.

Caesar snorted. "Young n' stupid..."
"I's not stupid!"
"No, you're not, you're RETARDED."
Just like that, the pair were off again, arguing like before.
Boudicca frowned at both of them, but didn't say anything.

She turned to Twilight instead. "I don't know why I'm here... but I...felt something... that sort of... drew me here." She paused for a second, before laughing heartily again. "Sounds silly, doesn't it?"

"Not really. When my clan moved here, something drew me to the lake.. Even though I'm not supposed to go there." Twilight replied, staring at the Absol for just a moment before she turned to watch Pandora and Ceasar argue.

"Do they do that a lot?" Twilight asked, not really sure if she should've asked that. Then again, it was somewhat of a rhetorical question, anyways..

Boudicca smiled at the girafarig's hestiant nature. "Yes, they do. They never used to, but recently..." she breathed out heavily. "I just leave them at it."
For a moment, Boudicca just watched them, before she finally turned her attention back to Twilight. "Are you sure there's nothing wrong? I don't mean to nose, but..." she smiled again, her eyes filled with... what was it? Pity? Worry? Love? Boudicca certainly was a compassionate beast.

Caesar and Pandora's bickering had switched to facial expressions. Caesar was pulling his eyelids and sticking his tongue out, but Pan, who's arms didn't reach her face, scrunched up her eyes.

"No.." Twilight muttered in response to Boudicca's question, before thinking it over, then giving a real answer.

"Well.. My parents will punish me for leaving without their permission, but it's just.. Well, there's something about this group gathered here that is interesting." She finished, giving a pleasant smile.
