soooo I just moved back into my dorm for my second year of college. took a few days but this dorm is much better, we have our own mini kitchen and bathroom and i have a single sooo I can actually go to sleep when I want n__n

anybody else live in a dorm? do you like it or not? what are some experiences you've had?

I lived in a dorm my final 2 and a half years of college after I transferred. The first year was great since I loved two of my roommates and had a lot of fun with them. We had some ~drama~ with the third roommate that got out of hand a couple of times, but we got through the school year in one piece.

The rest of my roommates for the most part were horrible and I ended up basically moving in with my bf sooner than anticipated to escape it. I was almost never at my dorm the last year. No one knew how to clean, respect each other's schedules or belongings. I prefer living on my own and don't miss it a bit.

The dorm I stayed in my first year kind of sucked. It was a double, but didn't seem much larger than a single. If you didn't want bunk or a raised bed there wasn't much room to open the doors and the wardrobe, either the bed or desk would partially block one.

Plus it didn't have a kitchen, living room, and the bathroom was shared by four guys. I moved back home the first chance I got (I was required to live in one for the first semester), and then just waited to get an apartment.

I lived in the dorms my first two years of college. My first roommate she was fine but she kept bringing her boyfriend and they were being distracting haha. Sometimes she brought her group of friends inside too and while I interacted with them I just don't click with them. On my second year I got two. One stayed with me for a few months but then she moved into her own dorm room, and then I had another one that stayed rest of the year.

Both years I my dorm halls have mini kitchens/study halls, so that was nice and where I usually hang out with my dorm mates. I was able to get along with them better than my roommates.
