No, I'm not talking about Beauty and the Beach or Electric Soldier Porygon. No.

The first lost episode which has never been seen is said to be "A Pok?mon New Year's Eve", which was not on air because Pok?mon was temporarily banned after the Porygon incident.

I saw a guy on IRC who said something about another lost episode and that he had a friend who could obtain them. After a little googling, I read "There's also something called 'Trance' but I'm not sure" on a page.

Does anybody know more than me about those episodes?

i heard about one that was never aired that featured Dratini in it. Its from way long ago when ash was back in kanto

The one Jirachi is thinking of is Episode 35: The Legend of Dratini. It was banned because it had a gun in it. I have never heard of tge other episode mentioned..I would be curious to find out what happened in it though.

As far as I know, those two episodes do not exist. There has never been any 'trance' thing or 'new years eve' thing either. The closest I can come to is 'Holiday Hi Jynx' which was skipped over in Japan because of the Porygon inccident. In America, 'Snow Way Out' was also skipped over, but eventually the episodes were shown. Currently, the only banned/lost episodes are--

    - The Ice Cave
    - The Legend of Dratini
    - Electric Solider Porygon
    - Love at first flight (might be a WB error though)

what is this porygon incident? I've never heard about it. And, yeah, I heard about the Dratini one too

Dratini one's was about guy who told about his childhood friend Dratini. Later in the ep. Dratini comes back with Dragonair. I saw that when I was in Japan. Electric soldier porygon they said that after pikachu exploded the machine with thunder, over 700 Japanese kids got sick. I watched that and I actually enjoyed it.

oh wow. Its kinda strange though, something blows up and they get sick? I wonder what happened to them

That scene caused seizures becuase of all the colours being flashed at such a fast pace the human brian is not meant to withstand it. A seizure is really the brian restarting like a computer to fix a major error.

Of course, it's perfectly safe to watch on a computer, especially in the qualitiy the online clips are, because computers cannot duplicate that frame rate very easily.

I've heard that hte subbed version is about as high quality as you can get on a computer... so bleh.

AS for the "Trance" episode... bleh. I dun think so.

Well, it's a well known fact that four episodes werent able to be shown because of the time pokemon was banned in Japan for 6 months...

There was also Beauty and the Beach. It was banned because James was wearing Bikinies. There was also Jynx ep. 4kids just said that Jynx thought Brock who was sick was Nurse Joy and tried to kiss her. Other reason might be Brock got flu from team rocket.

Holiday at Alcopoco (sp?) was horribly cut (well more horribly cut then any other episode that 4Kids translates) and was shown once in the US.

The Ice Cave was banned because Jynx is now banned in the US due to some idiot lady who thinks a purple Pokemon is racist against dark-skinned people :/

I've heard that Tentacool and Tentacruel is now banned in the US as well, as Nastina uses a bazooka in it.

I've seen worse weapon usage in Looney Toons than in Legend of Dratini to be honest. Most parents just want to find something to blame their lack of dicispline on and Pokemon came from another country so they find it easy to blame. :/

I know the Ice Cave, the Love at First Flight, the Legend of Dratini (where Meowth shows up in a Hitlerish dress when questioning the safari zone warden), the Electric Soldier Porygon and the Beauty and the Beach (where James had artificial breasts). No, I'm not talking about those who actually WERE aired.

*link removed* says something about the "A Pok?mon New Year's Eve" thing.
This has to be the least known about missing episode. I say missing, because it's not really banned, it has just in fact never been shown! It was due to be shown in Japan December 31, 1997, just after the Porygon episode, but due to the Porygon episode, Pok?mon wasn't show again in Japan until April 16, 1998
Does anybody have more information on that one?

if someone finds a website about it post it here please...i want to watch that episode who evryone got sick...i heard about it...but i thought it was like the lightning was so white tht children got blind
