Mission 2 - Eagle Fly Free

Time to head to Colorado to recapture an airbase with the planes... except no planes are to be found the Soviets stole them to their own base.
Think the first part was the hardest till I got the base, one restart happened midgame because I miscalculated and didnt bring the main army to recapture the base and thus failed the small timeframe where I could attack.

I do stream the campaign when I feel like playing through it, although I'm further than the journal is at the moment... whoops.

Mission 3 - Road Trippin'

I hate not being able to make tanks... worst of all you're stuck with basic infantry and jets, which aren't the greatest to hold off a mass invasion.
Probably should have made more infantry than spamming jets, but alas.

Mission 5 - Bad Apple

Now even my own forces turn against me, thanks to some unknown device. Starting off as a big taskforce mission eventually I get to make tanks, so we're all good :'D

What comes after this... is the beginning of the end...

Mission 6 - Beautiful Mind

Aka Allied Command being numpties miscalculating every single time.
Like I said, the beginning of the end. It is here where they start miscalculating on timers when your troops get mind controlled by the various devices in Chicago.

We are also being introduced to the Warhawk chopper which is a godsent cause the AI is bad at dealing with air units and it has been buffed severely compared to other versions.

Can we save Chicago?

Mission 7 - Hammer to Fall

Another mission with limited forces... and OP Tanya so maybe it's not as painful... or is it?
This map likes to have Desolators all over the place who will literally melt every unit you have and it's a maze to navigate through. What doesn't help either is the patrolling helicopters since you have 0 anti-air so its dodging them for your life.

Mission 8 - Wrong Side

WARNING: The video can be a bit shaky at the start.... because for some reason the map is too small for my resolution so everytime I try to scroll it jumps all over the place.

Time to stop the Russians from launching some ICBM's... with right now the worst faction in this update... and one that gives me the most nostalgia... the European Alliance.
Though for the most part it's basic Allied infantry accompanied by some tanks, I think this mission is my fav out of all the ones that give me limited stuff.

Mission 9 - Zero Signal

Whee now they have a nuke...

We have to capture and hold 5 old Radar Domes from the first Red Alert to establish communications with the Pacific Front. Again no base, but we can make tanks... at least till you lose the War Factory which I did >.<
This mission also introduces you to the greatest hero unit in the game, Siegfried, or as most people like to call him: The Mobile Army Deleter.

Siegfried is great at sieging buildings and erasing large groups of infantry, his second ability allows units near him and himself to become invurnable for a short ammount of time.

Next stop: Kyoto, Japan... I wonder what could possibly go wrong

Mission 10 - The Gardener

OH GOD NO ITS ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE

Small taskforce starting with one mech that has to be piloted at all times for it to work and having to traverse an entire map filled with tanks to save 4 scientists... I restarted like 3 times on this level...

Mission 11 - Panic Cycle

Oh no we miscalculated again and our scientists are all the way in the middle of nowhere and we need to escort them to the lab.

The first part is an escort section where you cannot lose the Tortoise nor the MCV, which can be a pain at certain moments cause China can EMP your entire army making it useless.
Then comes the base part where you need to remove the soviets from the forets, that part is a lot easier.

Allied Act 1 Finale - Sunlight

It has come to this, the Allies have been pushed back to England and only 3 defense systems stand between annihilation and freedom. This is mostly a naval battle which allows us to see use of the Aircraft Carrier and Battleship, however the first part is mainly a defense mission untill you can safely build a force to push out.
You're being kinda forced to capture some Soviet buildings on their mainland, since the naval fleet can't reach everything and they pack some AA where it's not too smart to just waltz in with air units only.

All in all this ends the first act of the Allied campaign... onto the first act of the Soviet campaign.
What I basically do now is play the first act of all factions, then the second act.

Soviet Campaign - Mission 1 - Bleed Red

Ah, the Soviet campaign, a campaign of bruteforcing your way through a lot of problems. It starts off with events like in Red Dawn Rising, attacking the States, but since we're now the Soviets, we are the aggressors.
First part is very easy to do, Allied navy is low here and dreads are strong enough to wipe out everything else needed.
Second part has you clean up support bases and you get instantly met with the Russian hero unit, Boris... or is he?
i got him killed too soon but he is scripted to die anyways
As soon as that's done we get the base under our control and it's only a matter of time before the Allies are on the run.

Mission 2 - Golden Gate

We're pushing our advance further into the US. Great comrade Yuri wants to claim Alcatraz for some reason so we oblige and erase the americans for him.
No base this time, but we can capture Allied structures to make some units, albeit terrible Allied ones.

Fairly straightforward as is expected from early missions.

I abandoned this didn't I?

Mission 3 - Happy Birthday

President Dugan was about to be elected for his 3rd term... I say was because in this level, we will kill him! For that we use a man who misses his girl or car... can't make that out from his accent, Morales!
He's the sniper hero for the Latin Confederation and quite a menace... that is if he's supported which he's not here... so I lost him on accident once... whoops.
