Sup! This is the first team I made for oras ubers, its done quite decently on the ladder and some room tournaments on the main server. It actually got me to 1500 something which was actually quite good Imo but the ladder was quite bad and I know this team has a quite a few flaws especially since it's aiming on being a team right between stall and balance, semi stall? Idk. A lot of things actually threaten this team badly and I have to almost play around these things, which is actually not quite hard since the team packs 2-3 soft checks to a lot of common threats.the most notable flaws would be that it has no true counter or a good switch in to ho-oh, which I don't think really has counters? Idk lol. Rockceus is quite underwhelming In my opinion and was thinking of using groundceus or something, but rock type judgement was quite helpful. Plus the flying resist was really cool, too bad it gets shredded by coverage moves of the top birds in the tier. Darkrai used to be a threat before when my only dark resist was xerneas, but since then I have changed it to klefki, so along with pdon it isn't much of a problem now. Cm mmy is also a big threat, it is pretty easy to play around it but goddamn everything gets weakened which isn't quite good. Geoxern variants with heal bell is also quite troublesome, if klefki and pdon are extremely weakened. That's probably the biggest threats to the team. Anyway on to it-

    Groudon @ Red Orb
    Ability: Drought
    EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
    Sassy Nature
    - Precipice Blades
    - Lava Plume
    - Stealth Rock
    - Thunder Wave
Primal groudon is probably the best thing in ubers right now along side mega salamence, this thing is quite a defensive behemoth. I use the standard specially defensive set so it can check a lot of dangerous special attackers like kyogre and xerneas well (sweep and his physical Kyogre tho :/) I chose thunder wave over toxic so I can stop things like mmence and xerneas, lava plume is something that I almost always use if the opponent has ground immunities left so I can spread burns (why scald has a better burn rate is beyond me :() this thing is also my rocker and forms quite a nice core with mega Mence.

    Klefki @ Leftovers
    Ability: Prankster
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
    Careful Nature
    - Sleep Talk
    - Thunder Wave
    - Spikes
    - Play Rough

Klefki was the last addition to the team replacing xerneas since it handles darkrai and the Latinos better. It is also my spiker and acts as a bait to darkrai and thanks to prankster and sleep talk I easily get two layers of spikes up. I don't know if people actually use sleep talk klefki lol but I find it quite useful. Specially defensive klefki is possibly the best Klefk variant in the meta I think. The decision between foul play and play rough is also quite tricky since play rough is quite weak and can possibly make it easy set up bait, foul play on the hand seems quite weak spout that's probably due to perception given how I have yveltal lol. But yes I tend to use foul play more than play rough since it's slightly better. All in all I like this thing a lot and is actually quite good.

    Arceus-Rock @ Stone Plate
    Ability: Multitype
    EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: null Atk
    - Judgment
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Recover
    - Defog
This mon is probably the only mon in the team I completely dislike since it doesn't even full fill the things it was meant when it was added. But I couldn't find a better replacement so I stuck with it. And it actually surprised me a bit because it is quite handy in a battle, it offers my team some speed and also has a nice stab attack that hits super effectively on the tier threats. Wisp is also very nice and makes it my first check to extreme killer arceus along side yveltal. It also kinda acted as a later cleaner In a lot of battles which was totally not my intention.

    Salamence @ Salamencite
    Ability: Intimidate
    Happiness: 0
    EVs: 248 HP / 136 Def / 124 Spe
    Impish Nature
    - Dragon Dance
    - Frustration
    - Roost
    - Refresh
Enter monster Mence, I really love this thing because it brings two things in one, a monster offensive set up attacker and a really good defensive wall that also acts as a check to primal groudon alongside Latinos and yveltal. This ev spread is really good and while it counters/checks important things it also allows for easy set up opportunities. It needs to set up twice since it is uninvested in attack but hits quite hard anyway. I actually use a lot of variants of this et in practise, like body slam over frustration or facade over refresh, facade really smacked almost all the stall teams there when it got burned but the disadvantage was if the opponent kept trying to paralyse it over other status moves. So I kept refresh and frustration since it is more powerful.

    Yveltal @ Leftovers
    Ability: Dark Aura
    EVs: 252 HP / 228 Def / 28 Spe
    Bold Nature
    - Roost
    - Foul Play
    - Oblivion Wing
    - Taunt
Enter bacon mon. I really thought this thing was garbage when I first saw it and my opinion hasn't changed much since en l, but it is quite handy and easy to use. Foul play hits ridiculously hard to a super majority of the meta which is actually quite good. I don't even use oblivion wing in 90% of my battles and was actually thinking of changing this to sucker punch to hit mewtwo and get a bit priority in the team. Taunt is nice to shut down blobs and other shit, I don't remember exactly what those speed ev's out speeded back when I calculated it but it was there for some reason. This things also helps against primal don, bulky dd mega Mence etc and can also help against Lati after I sponged in a Draco hit with something like klefki.

    Latios (M) @ Soul Dew
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 52 HP / 252 SpA / 204 Spe
    Modest Nature
    IVs: null Atk
    - Calm Mind
    - Roost
    - Draco Meteor
    - Psyshock
Last but not the least latios, this is the first time I am using soul dew since the last time I played ubers it was banned or not released or something, but I can see why. This thing is an absolute beast. Not sure how common a calm mind variant is but I saw one or two on the ladder. Although not much but this also gives me a bit of speed to beat the primal bro's. This is also sort of my last mon, uh win condition. And also probably my only answer to mewtwo.

Anyway, that's the team. And I took me quite a while to fix a lot of stuff although u already know how leaky it is from the first paragraph. I would like suggestions on how to make it better or comments whatever o/

don't you mean 252 SpA EVs on your Latios?

also SpD Yveltal isn't that good cuz you want to check shit such as ExtremeKiller Arceus and SD Primal Groudon

The first one is not a error I did mean hp and speed, the second one is a error, I meant physically defensive yveltal, thanks for pointing that out tho.

in which case you're better off using Latias because she's bulkier and completely walls Primal Kyogre.

One last thing: if you want to keep Latios, use a spread of 52 HP / 252 SpA / 204 Spe with a Modest nature.

110 is a very good Speed tier, so Timid is the better nature, IMO. What does that EV spread serve in particular?

    Oops I meant 204 Spe.

Latios nowadays (at least in higher-level play) runs 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe with a Modest nature since he needs all the power he can get while outspeeding Adamant Rayquaza. That EV spread serves mainly to speed creep other Latios and some Arceus forms.

Okay I get that, what does the 52 hp ev's achieve? Cause then you could just go for max spa+ and speed

Hello, srinator. I have some advice for you!

    1. Lava Plume and Thunder Wave on the same set is fairly redundant; over the course of the match Groudon will likely status at least one Pokemon with Lava Plume if it gets to use the move enough times. Your team really needs Stone Edge > Thunder Wave because right now, you're weaker to birds than Xerneas.

    2. Sucker Punch > Oblivion Wing helps Yveltal check Mewtwo (forces some 50/50's but that's better than losing outright, and O Wing is weak without Life Orb).

    3. Toxic > Sleep Talk on Klefki, it's far more consistent and helps pressure Groudon and Defog users immensely. A sleeping Klefki is still fairly useless as you have no control whether Sleep Talk will result in Spikes, a weak move or a status condition...Darkrai will not stay in after putting Klefki to sleep anyway.

Swords Dance Arceus-Ground is a huge issue if it can get high rolls on Mence / Yveltal after a SD boost (assuming SR is only prior damage). Lava Plume can help with this but isn't reliable. Again, Toxic on Klefki prevents it from switch in for free. Mixed RP Groudon with Fire Blast also punishes this team. I'd try to fit a physically defensive Primal Kyogre somewhere, maybe over Yveltal since it can soft check SD Groundceus and Mewtwo with Origin Pulse and easily handles that particular Groudon variant. Good luck, decent team overall.
