So I'm trying to ladder in Ubers, but am struggling to get higher than like upper 1400s. I'm sure part of the problem is me, but I know that there's issues with the team as well. It's:

    Rayquaza @ Life Orb
    Ability: Air Lock
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
    Naive Nature
    - Dragon Ascent
    - Surf
    - Draco Meteor
    - ExtremeSpeed

    Diancie-Mega @ Diancite
    Ability: Magic Bounce
    EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Naive Nature
    - Moonblast
    - Diamond Storm
    - Earth Power
    - Protect

    Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
    Ability: Desolate Land
    EVs: 224 HP / 248 Atk / 32 SpD / 4 Spe
    Adamant Nature
    - Stealth Rock
    - Precipice Blades
    - Fire Punch
    - Stone Edge

    Zekrom @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Teravolt
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
    Lonely Nature
    - Bolt Strike
    - Outrage
    - Draco Meteor
    - Volt Switch

    Arceus @ Silk Scarf
    Ability: Multitype
    EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    - ExtremeSpeed
    - Swords Dance
    - Shadow Claw
    - Refresh

    Darkrai @ Focus Sash
    Ability: Bad Dreams
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Dark Pulse
    - Dark Void
    - Nasty Plot
    - Sludge Bomb

Mega Diancie is cute because it basically shuts down Deo-D and Deo-S, and Surf Rayquaza is fun for killing Primal Groudon with....sometimes. People seem to be catching on that Surf Rayquaza's a thing. Ground Arceus and Xerneas are beatable but a pain in the ass usually, and a set-up Geo Xern with plenty of health basically 6-0s my whole team....which is not good. Especially when those are pretty common.

Not sure what to do though

Surf Rayquaza sucks in this meta and I'd just use Earthquake over it. This move is good on the mid-ladder but is ass in high-level play. At least EQ kills Rockceus and Heatran.

I don't really like Stone Edge on P-Groudon, seeing that you 1. have Mega Diancie for Lugia and 2. Stone Edge might still fail to beat it. I personally run Toxic to destroy Lugia.

Also I suggest you try Ice Beam over Refresh on your Arceus. Burn is a rather rare status effect in Ubers now that Giratina-A is so rare and not all Gira-O run Wisp... meanwhile Ice Beam allows you to remove Mega Salamence, which can otherwise check it rather easily. Not sure how much I like that Zekrom set, I think mixed LO is better since it's really hard to switch into and deals a lot of damage to P-Groudon (around 80%).

If you're afraid of Xerneas you can just put a random Roar on your Groudon or lead Deo-A. Both of them easily screw over any attempt to set up.

Just two questions, do all 4 of Zekrom's moves benefit it more than any coverage move it could utilize with Choice Scarf would? I would maybe question Draco Meteor, since even with lure potential it seems like the damage and unsustainability of it as an option may outweigh the prior mentioned benefit. Secondly does your Arceus really want refresh over recover? (probably yeah; because burns and stuff but it seemed worth mentioning. Also because I know you know Stunfisk is actually the statistical champ of Ubers counting the team that topped the ladder recently)

Unfortunately Zekrom's movepool is pretty small and things that could be possible coverage moves don't really do better than its STABs. Draco Meteor still does slightly more than Earth Power does to Primal Groudon and Flash Cannon does to Xerneas (not to mention stuff's immune to Earth Power too). Moves it doesn't know that might be good like Earthquake and Iron Tail aren't a whole lot better either. Though maybe I could throw something on in place of Volt Switch. Never really liked the move on Zekrom, and I almost never use it anyway.

The LO set is better in some ways because of the increased power and the ability to switch moves, but on the other hand the LO recoil eats away at you (Roost would fix that but you don't got time for that) and it's kinda slow . What I like about Scarf is that at least I can outspeed up to base 120 Speed pokes and unboosted/non-Scarfed Xerns (ie the majority of the meta), which is great for it.....but then getting locked into a single move sucks, especially when the only moves you really got are your STABs but the 2 most commonly used Pokemon are immune to them. Zekrom can get a little hard to use sometimes....

But as for Arceus, Recover is an option on the last slot. There's a lot of viable options to use in the last slot, so it's something I'll haev to play around with and see what works best.

Zekrom has good coverage in its STABs alone; it's only walled by the occasional Excadrill, Ferrothorn and Whimsicott. You could use Focus Blast over, say, Volt Switch for the former two, but other than those, it's useless. So just stick to the current set. Volt Switch is good for scouting attacks.

I'll swap Surf for Earthquake on Rayquaza and try Ice Beam on Arceus. But for Roar would I wanna switch it with Stone Edge or what on Primal Groudon? And I'm not sure I understand the Deo-A suggestion.

Deo-A can KO any Xerneas with Psycho Boost + ExtremeSpeed. And as for P-Groudon, you can indeed swap Stone Edge for Roar if you're that afraid of Xern.
