I don't think the MC was too bad. I don't remember much about him since I guess he didn't possess anything that made him stand out but he definitely didn't strike me as a bad character.

He played the role of the straight man among all the crazy people in the dorm, actually. And we know that the role of the straight man usually ends up being relatively boring compared to crazy characters. This guy was fine. So yeah.

Started watching Panty and Stocking. Holy crap it has an episode on semen. O_o

Pretty much every PsG episode is a semen episode. Though I suppose that one is particularly semeny.

That feeling when you accidentally a Teekyuu season and can't turn your brain down. I'm using periods here, but believe me, there are no periods in my mind right now, or commas. Arakawa Under the Bridge has such a great OP, like really, Yakushimaru Etsuko is just delightful as a singer overall, man it's been long since last I watched Arakawa Under the Bridge, that shizz was a pretty early SHAFT experience for me, it's rather nostalgic,

Jesus, Poki, calm down. I can't understand you when your subtitles are going so fast.

But one thing I absolutely love about Teekyu- which was the thing that actually got me started on it- is the titles. "Goonies with Senpai", "The Killing Fields with Senpai", "Hangover with Senpai", and the next one's "Die Hard 3 with Senpai". I mean, c'mon; who could see those titles and not jump on the show.

Nah man i'll just talk about the Facebook movie all day shit man you have to be so interested in the shit i have to say about the Facebook movie fuck dude I just watched it a year and a half ago fuck Jesse Eisenberg man he fucked over Spiderman crazy Winklevoss Twins rowing trent resin or did the soundtrack fuck this guy who invented Facebook (I don't like dying) I can't think of who the fuck invented Facebook all I can think is the guy who played the guy who invented Facebook who the fuck invented Facebook

That reminds me, are there like, organized anime viewings (as in, let's watch this till tomorrow so we can talk about it) in this section? For someone who posts so much here in the DCC I never set my foot in the rest of the A&M section. Because I'd totally be up for that if it was good people and a good show, that'd solve both any motivation and no-one-to-discuss-with problems. Like a book club with with the anime, throw some JC Staff stuff or something in there, close the lid, stir a bit once in a while, and we've got a recipe for success.

Is there any term to descried character like Rin Toshaka (Fate/Stay) , Kurisu Makise (Sterins; Gate) and Ai Haribara (Detective Conan)
I mean , They are Tsundere But they are not like those annoying whiny Tsundere who put a tantrum over everything.
Well , Character like them work as the Protagonist's main partner/Accomplice who assist the protagonist by giving him important information.
I think , There should a term or name to describe character like them.

Partner. Love Interest. H-Bait.

Though at least for the last two, I would argue that they're not really tsun, unless just being annoyed at would-be annoying crap makes you tsun. They're just the intelligent partner characters, that would be their archetype.

Partner. Love Interest. H-Bait.

Except , They are no always the Love Interest !
Rin wasn't Love-interest in Fate/Stay despite being as helpful as ultimate Bladework!
Ai Haribara is not Conan's Love-interest since Conan loves Ran from the very beginning of the series.
It doesn't matter who the Love-interest ! Character like them always work as Main accomplice even when they aren't the Love-Interest.
Thats why their Archetype need a name !
After all , I want a character like them in Pokemon but it just so darn hard to describe them.

Whoops, meant to say "Potential Love Interest". "Ship Bait" also works.

And I told you, they have an archetype. It becomes more clear when you start thinking up other examples. VLR's Phi and Danganronpa's Kyoko and Chiaki (and possibly Nagito) certainly fall into this.

Kinda. They have heroine endings. Basically, you make a choice (to text or not to text) and then the story progresses, but there are no choices past that. In other words, you make a single choice and then it leads to a specific ending (not directly, first there's more story and then the ending). But no, generally she's not the love interest. Rarely is she, actually.

Not presently, iirc. Legality issues and all that from an official standpoint. Falls into a gray zone, really.

That does give me an idea to run by our A&M mod, though (who can totally just run with the idea if she sees this post and likes the idea). Group watches/re-watches where you watch like an episode or a range of episodes in a given time frame and then discuss them, and then move onto the next episode/episodes for the next time frame. And then that leaves how people acquire/watch the series up to the individual.

Oh yeah, PC wouldn't be streaming or anything, of course. I realize I was a bit vague in my sped-up craze yesterday. :P

The shows could be limited to what's on Crunchyroll if we want a water-tight legal excuse. 'Course Crunchyroll hasn't got crap available where I live but that's beside the point.

Tsundere.

so I believe she's not always the love interest.
As macho already pointed, you are right, she rarely is. You need to follow the True Ending route and activate all her flags.
From 6 endings, she's a love interest only in her ending and the True Ending.

I'd have been fine with a watch along thing if not for my internet sucking balls compared to the connection some of you seem to possess. 1Mbps/120KBps connection here lol. Dunno if streaming will work for me haha. :p

It depends on what shows you guys would want to watch! I do pay for my Crunchyroll account, so I wouldn't have too many qualms about streaming something from there. Obviously, as Poki already said, the selection on Crunchyroll is pretty crappy. I've streamed before for PC, I believe it was Elf and a couple other movies a few years back, and the admins didn't have a big problem with it. We'll see, because that's definitely something I'd enjoy doing!

Also, I'm starting Gangsta tonight. Finally all set up in my new house, so I can watch anime again without getting the glaredown from my boyfriend u_u

Well, that depends on what genres you're looking for and if you want to dig through their whole library. There aren't a lot of truly great anime on there, but there are many classics and some pretty good movies mixed in.

The alphabetical list if anyone wants to look and pick something from there (warning, list is all English names; bolded some I think could be subject to a group watch/rewatch based on either the summary or having seen them):

Spoiler:

Granted, not everything I've bolded is properly available in the USA, but most of it is, and there's more I personally think are solid to great watches that I didn't bold because I either a) don't think they're great for group watches, or b) I didn't recognize them from their title. Also, not everything I've bolded may actually be great for group watches or even any good, for that matter.

Wait, if that's the case, then why not stream? Because if we stream, so long as the source is kept at the site's discretion, and similarly, so long as we don't call it an Official PC Stream, then the site shouldn't be subject to anything. It really does free up what we're able to watch.
