Vague titles might be easier to remember/pronounce than your average Yahari ore no seishun rabu come wa machigatteiru but I still prefer unique names. Because these just are sort of a turn off for me personally. Titles aren't much but I'd rather take a unique/cool title than an obnoxiously long (heh the irony) or a generic af one. =b

I'm a big sports anime fan. If these series manage to actually be somewhat decent, I'm definitely watching them.
But Haikyuu has raised my standards quite a bit though so there's that too....

omg thank you for posting this! I didn't know it was an actual confirmed anime thing until you posted it.Time to mentally dive into another sports anime and another soccer one too. I've heard it's pretty good but hasn't finished being scanlated (?). Wonder how it's going to fair up to the rest of the loveable soccer anime I've watched.

Though more excited for homo madhouse rugby anime All Out!! But that's not happening till Fall season :c

Dayum these upcoming sports anime. Idk why but I like my unrealistic anime sports than real life sports hahaha.
 
If we're talking about looking forward to upcoming anime, there's this. Western streaming service providers (Netflix here) finally funding anime now. I see it as a good sign of things to come, tbh. Distribution in 190 countries right off, too. Good stuff.

Premise:
Perfect Bones is set in a future where scientists have tried to create the "perfect human" in hopes of keeping peace in the universe. After nearly achieving their goal through several children, the scientists send their "new humans" for further training where they are kidnapped by an evil organization set on using their powers to implement their own concept of a new world order.

It sounds generic tbh. But I'm still pumped because it is Production I.G at helm.

In another piece of news that makes me curious, I.G has apparently bought the rights for FLCL from Gainax. Have no idea where they plan to take the series or what is even possible (anything is, really. It IS fooly cooly). But I'm still looking forward to what comes out of this odd-ish (heh) movie.

Edit: First response on the 100th page woot. i mean, at least according to my thread response limit per page preferences.

All very intriguing news. It'd be cool if I.G. can get The Pillows back together for the soundtrack to whatever they plan to do with the series. I'm also curious as to if we're seeing the re-emergence of anime being targeted at western audiences.
