Ultima: A Trainer's Quest

Terra followed him in and whispered to him.

"Good luck. I know you can do it."

Star nodded.

{Yes you can.}
 
"Raika, use Thunderbolt!" Surge commanded. This'll be TOO easy.. he smirked as Raika fired a Thunderbolt at the Mudkip. Surprisingly enough, the electricity didn't even bother the Mudkip.

"Rai?" Raika was confused as to why her attack didn't work.

Muddy's HP: ---------------------------------------------]
 
Mike got into the gym. He saw that the battle just began. "Great. WHat just happen?" Mike asked

{It just seems like Raika threw the first attack} said Char.
 
"Interesting. Muddy's probably immune to electricity now." Amy observed as she saw Raika's puzzled look.

"[I'd say. It looks to me that Muddy will evolve.]" Pikachu predicted.

"Who knows? Maybe we'd be lucky enough to find something here that we don't even know about." Amy replied.

"[Let's just hope for the best.]" Jigglypuff hoped.
 
Mike nodded but didn't understand.

"It makes no sense. What they did to stay immune to the attack. A Mudkip should have been shock to faint." said Mike

{What you mean} asked Char.

"Mudkip is pure water so electric attacks are super effective. It makes no sense." said Mike
 
I started to chuckle "sorry surge but even if mudkip doesnt have a pure earth defence yet he was trained in the way of electrokinesis so he can manipulate it! muddy send it back 2 fold!!" I yelled
muddy did as he was told and sent it back at raika 2 times the power
"perfect! now use muddy water" I yelled
 
"Rai!" Raika screeched as her own power was turned against her! On top of that, the muddy water splattered in her eyes!

"Turning my own power against me, are you?" Surge chuckled. "Very clever...but not as good as this!" he motioned to Raika. "Raika, Mega Kick!"

"RAI-CHU!" Raika clobbered Muddy in the face with a foot!

(It's super effective!)

Mike smiled and said, "That was very clever."

{What he did} asked CHar in a puzzle stare.

Mike nodded and said, "They use Mirror Coat. THat attack reflects speacal attacks back at double the damage. Mudkip took some damage but Raika took more."
 
Rey eventually got bored and went to see the gym battle. Eevee was following him. He looked through the window. It looked like the match didn't start too long ago. He entered not knowing if anyone saw and sat down to watch. He looked to see that the trainer battling Surge had another Hoenn pokemon.It probably had the advantage since it was also a Ground type, but the battle just started...
 
"Bingo. Maybe AJ knows what he's doing now." Amy said.

"[Perfect! Raika will go down any moment now!]" Pikachu exclaimed.

"[Go AJ! Go Muddy!]" Butterfree and Jigglypuff cheered as they both held up flags with faces of AJ and Muddy.

"[I knew we could trust him.]" Umbreon said with a smile.
 
"Thanks for the cheers guys! now muddy finish this with muddy water with your most powerfull mudshot ever going through it!" I yelled
muddy did as he was told and wiped riaka out
 
Lt. Surge watched as Raika fell, defeated! "Well! I must say you're a fine trainer, soldier!" he smiled. "I can see why General Ash chose you for this mission...you battle with honor." With that, the orange and yellow sunburst flew off the pedestal and settled in AJ's heart.

"Good luck on your journey, Admiral." Surge replied as Maya and AJ departed...
 
"Hey, it's supposed to be like that...this way the Crests are safe." Maya assured AJ. "Come on, let's head back to the Pokemon Center."

(Rock Tunnel catchable Pokemon: Zubat, Aron, Sableye, Onix, Geodude, Machop
Route 8 catchable Pokemon: Meowth, Vulpix, Abra (uncommon), Pidgey, Growlithe)
Route 7 catchable Pokemon: Vulpix, Abra, Meowth

Next: Erika and Crest of Luck)
 
Mike gave A.J. a pet on the back. "You did good man."

Char nodded and said, {That was great.}

Mike then took his arm and rose it up. "To the victor goes the spoils." He then let go of it quicky and gets back.

{Whats wrong?} asked Char.

MIke wisper in her ear and said, "His arm. It kind of cold"
 
Terra tensed up hearing that Mike noticed his arm was cold. Then she went over to AJ and smiled.

"I knew you could do it."

{We knew it all along.}

Star pointed out. As Terra walked over to Maya.

"Umm what was the thing that went into AJ's heart?"
 
"That was the Crest of Honor." Maya explained. "The Crests go into the trainer's hearts so that they will be safe.

"Our next stop is a brief stopover in Lavender Town...and to get there, we need to go through Rock Tunnel." maya paused as she grabbed the Poke Ball with Mina inside. "That said, how'd you like to ride Mina to the tunnel entrance?"
 
Rey went up to followed the group reading his book. Eevee was following him not too far behind. Since, they were heading to Celadon City, Rey had to make his decision on what Eevee should evolve into. Rock Tunnel was up next and there were two Hoenn pokemon in there. Good thing he had a bunch of pokeballs left. The walk to the tunnel was pretty far.

Rey: I guess I'll have a ride.
