Ultima: A Trainer's Quest

MIke notice how Zana was getting closer to MIke. He took a look at her and still had the feeling that he knew her from long ago. He just didn't know where.

"So do you have any pokemon" asked Mike

Zana smiled and said, "I have a few. Blaze is my favorite."

{Who Blaze?} asked Char.

MIke then asked, "Who Blaze?"

"My Blazinkin. He better then Charizard" she said and got closer to Mike.

Mike and Char didn't like that but he didn't compalin because he felt warmer.
 
Terra stopped and could feel something wrong, but shook it from her head and kept going.

Star scowled at the disturbance and Terra's eyes flashed from her emotions.

{Terra do you feel that?}

"Yes and I'm trying to ignore it."
 
Char then took Mike to ther side.

{What is up. You seem a bit distracted} she said.

Mike then said, "Um..I guesss I tell you. You be the only person I told this to Char ok."

{Kay. Tell me.} said Char.

MIke looked around to see if AMy was listening. "When I was little. My best friend was a girl with blue hair like hers. We were the best of friends. We thought we would be together forever. We even promise that." Mike tried to hold back his tears. "Then one day she was gone. Like that! No warning or good bye."

{So you were thinking that girl was her?"} said Char.

"Can't be. The one I was talking about name was Sana." said MIke

Then Zana took MIke back and got close to him again. "COme on. What you doing with your pokemon acting to talk to him. You need to be with me."

Char took offense to that but said nothing.
 
Terra started jumping through the trees at a fast pace.

Star kept up with her and many wild pokemon jumped out at them, but they were able to get around with a few scratches.

Terra's arm began to hurt.

{Terra your arm.}

star said looking at her hold it as they ran.

"It just hurts like it normally does when I push to my limits."
 
After wandering in Rock Tunnel for a while, Maya and the trainers finally reached Lavander Town...where they found Ash comforting some of the channelers of Pokemon Tower. "Is something wrong?" she asked.

"Apparently there's some evil forces afoot in the tower." Ash explained. "and even the channelers are powerless to do anything about it."

"Your Pokemon will be powerless to help as well..." one of the channelers sobbed. "To fend the ghosts off you need magical power--and a device called the Silph Scope. But, the only Pokemon that can teach magic to humans is the wave guider."

At first, Maya was confused as to who the "wave guider" was...but then it clicked! Rukario! "Say...maybe Ash could summon Rukario with his Pokeflute?" she asked the high channeler.

"It's worth a try...Young Master, if you would, please." The high channeler stepped aside as Ash stepped on a platform overlooking Pokemon Tower, lifted his Pokeflute to his lips, and started a calm air that seemed to calm the channelers, as well as the trainers.

As the last note died, a blue flash of light appeared in the sky, and a blue and black wolf-like Pokmon appeared before the trainers. "Greetings, Sir Ash...I have heard of the trouble here, and as such, have come to teach the one you choose how to use magic. So, be honest: which one of these have you found worthy of teaching magic?" he asked.

"Teach Maya...I doubt the trainers would be able to handle the power...unless there are some that would like to learn." Ash started.

(If you'd like Rukario to teach you magic, you get the following spells to start with:
Heat (Lv. 1 Fire)
Ice (Lv. 1 Ice)
Bolt (Lv. 1 Thunder)
Heal (Lv. 1 Healing)

Maya will tell you what the magic words are to use them...)
 
Terra landed on her feet next to Ash and heard what he had said as well as the part of being taught magic.

She stepped forward and there was a look of determination on her face.

"I'm willing to learn magic. I can handel it trust me."

{Yes she is willing and she can handel it. You can teach her she will be fine.}

Star added.
 
MIke and the others finally got out of ROck Tunnel.

Zana was revived that they were out. She hugged MIke and said, "Well thanks but bye. I have business to take care of. Bye." She then walked off.

"I glad he didn't remember who I really was" said Zana as she was away enough from the others to hear her. "Noe to contact the others."

MIke followed Maya til they reach the town. He felt a cold feeling go up his back. "This place is known for it ghost that runs around."

{Is that bad?} asked Char.

"Umm. Not really. A Gasly is great to have." said MIke

THey then saw Master Ashtalking to some people called Channelers. MIke listen as Ash talked and brought the pokemon called Rukio over. He took hiscamera out and took some pictures.

{Is that pokemon important? YOu taking pictures again.} said Char.

"It is. It is rare." siad MIke, "Magic. Cool but I perfer being regular me." said MIke. He then fell to the floor suddenly. He felt an imess coldness go thourght him. SHe shook like crazy.

{MIKE!! Are you ok? Are you cold?} said Char running over to him trying to warm him up with her flame.

IT was no good. Mike still ws shivering.
 
Terra felt strange she wanted to help Mike, but she couldn't.

Star used a psychic move to make Terra gain control again.

Terra rushed over to Mike right away.

She touched Mike on the shoulder and a wave of couldness went through her. She fell back breathing heavily her eyes wide. Terra put a hand on his shoulder once more. The wave of coldness struck her again, but she kept her hand there and closed her eyes trying to find out what was wrong. She faught the urge to let go and prevent any more damage to herself. Then her memories flashed through her head and reminded her about when she was hit by this coldness. When she couldn't take any more of it she let go and fell to the ground. Terra got up and looked Ash, Maya, and Rukario straight in the eye. "Teach me magic. I have to learn it."
 
"Life's refreshing breeze, heal from the sky! Cure!" Rukario commanded. A glowing blue light surrounded the trainer, healing him. He then addressed Maya and the other trainers. "Now...to learn magic....just close your eyes and focus as I bring forth the power in your heart..." Maya and the trainers obeyed as Rukario began singing a strange song...one that made Maya and the trainers glow:

Eieyui...
Nobomeno...
Renmiri...
Yojuyogo...
Hasante kanae...
Kutamae...

[Maya now knows magic!
Maya learned Heat!
Maya learned Ice!
Maya learned Bolt!
Maya learned Heal!]

[Terra now knows magic!
Terra learned Heat!
Terra learned Ice!
Terra learned Bolt!
Terra learned Heal!]
 
Terra staid still through the proccess and when it was over she walked over to Rukario and crossed her ankles and bowed. "Thank you Rukario you shall not regret teaching me magic." Terra ran over to Mike and helped him up.
"Are you okay Mike?"

Terra asked concerned.
 
MIke shook his head and responded back to Terra, "I guess so."

he then got back up due to the spell casted by Rukario. He had no idea what just happen.

{Are you ok?} asked Char. {What happen?}

MIke said, "I have no idea. I felt just cold but not regular cold. Just cold. I think it this place."

He then looked at Maya and asked, "What just happen to me? Is there something wrong with me?"
 
"Use your magic wisely..." Rukario cautioned. "If you use it for evil purposes, it will flow out of you forever...

In addition...you will learn new spells and your existing spells will grow stronger as you travel...I wish you luck on your Ultima Quest." Everyone waved goodbye as Rukario disappeared with a flash of blue light.
 
Terra quickly moved away from Mike hoping he wouldn't ask her the same question.

Star did as well.

Terra started to walk torwards the store.

Star walked next to her.

{You can handle the magic easily I see.}

"Yeah it feels a lot like my psychic powers."

{You just remember what Rukario said.}

"I know Star."
 
Mike was a little confuse. He wanted to know what just happen to him. He still felt a bit cold and it wasn't the weather. Char started to breath a little fire on him to keep him warm but it only worked a little. He still felt coldness in him.

"So will somebody explain to me what just happen. I thinking it is something in this town that is doing this to me." said MIke
 
Terra then started to run into the forest and jumped up on a tree.

{Why don't you just awnser his question Terra?}

"You know perfectly well!"

Star sighed and curled up on the branch while Terra looked up at the cloudless sky.
 
MIke knew what that means. Terra was hiding something again.

{You think she knows something} said Char.

"Ditto." siad MIke. He then began to walk but felt a little weak.

Char picked MIke up and carried him. {Let me take you. You may still be weak from that becasue you still a bit cold.} said Char.

Char then took Mike to the tree where Terra was.

Mike yelled up and said, "DO you know what just happen?"

Char then yelled, {If you really cared about MIke then you will tell him. He needs to know!}
 
Terra began to try to hold back tears.

"It's to horrible to say it happens to me often."

{That's why she knows and she won't tell anyone. She's been trying to forget that, but you getting hit by the coldness made her remember. She tried to help you, but when she put her hand on your shoulder her memories flooded back into her mind and it was too much for her to handle.}

Star's long reply was.
"
I do care about Mike. I really do. It's just."

She started to cry lightly keeping her head down so they couldn't see.
 
Mike felt the tears landed on him. They were warm on his which was feeling still cold. He felt a bit warmer now since they left Lavandar Town. Still he felt cold.

{Then what is wrong with him? WHy is he cold.} said Char.

"Don't be so rude Char" said MIke. HE then looked up to Terra and said, "Sorry if Char sounds a bit rude. She just really cares a lot for me. Would you tell me what jsut happen to me please?"
 
Star became angry at Char for that.

{Can't you see that you shouldn't ask her right now Char she was just through her entire life so far all over again. She isn't in the right state to tell you. Isn't that just like a Charizard being rude and rushing people. Mike I'm sorry, but she needs to be comforted and calmed down before she can awnser. She just went through all of her memories at once and that's what really hurt her. It was like we were actually going through all of it again.}

OOC: Computer trouble. I guess cause that.

IC:{Sorry} said Char. {I just like you. I care for Mike just as much as you care for Terra and I just want to know what happening to him. I want to do my best to help him.}

MIke then said to Star. "Please forgive my charizard. She just wants to help. I mean she cares a lot for me. Are you ok Terra?"
