I decided to continue my Poison UMC Sapphire leg, and I'm not as far as I thought. I managed to level Tetrid III the Tentacool up to Lv10 (from 9) and begin to raise my Daclus II the Zubat to the same level. I have one badge.

Ok, a short update:
-Headed to Ecruteak, then east to Mahogany town. Upon finding the Gym closed, I headed to the lake of Rage, where I caught the Red Gyarados, then went back to the Mahogany Town Mart.
-Met up with Lance, headed downstairs, then cleared out some grunts and some admins, and Krakatoa evolved!
-Killed off the rest of the rockets, defeated the Electrode, then got Whirlpool.

Update for Electric UMC Platinum

Right, after getting bored of the favourite challenge, I have started up my Platinum and returned to my beautiful challenge. I reckon mono's are the most fun challenges of all :) I may say things I've already said, but bear with me. I'm also showing my team differently:

- Beat Hearthome gym
- Got Eevee and Rotom, named Needles and Plasmazap (:P)
- Trained Plasmazap, but Needles (Even after evolution) only had tackle to attack with, and flopped pathetically, doing crappy damage
- Ditched Needles
- Went to Veilstone, beat the gym there
- Continued on my way down to Pastoria
- Trained to lv36 for everyone
- Went to the gym
- Beat Wake

• In Mauville, I managed to beat Wattson after a TON of resets, with Mud-Slap.

Can you sign me up for the Ice-Type Ultimate monotype? I wanna see how well R/B/Y is gonna go XD

Edit: btw, I'd be starting off Yellow with a level 3-4 Shellder in place of a Squirtle, and hopefully evolve him asap to get a Cloyster. My game progression will go Y/C/E/D/B or W (up in the air)

Edit two: realized that Jynx cannot be found in yellow. Looks like I'm stuck with 3 pokemon! Let's do it!

Started off the game as Allen and names my rival Blue (Blue in the manga always annoyed me to no end!), then traded in a Shellder at level 4 through epic trade with yourself abilities with emulators and immediately deposited Pikachu in the box (bye-bye, little buddy!)

Beat my rival after losing him to his stupid Eevee and Sand-Attack spam -_-

Quite literally Struggled my way through Brock: Shellder doesn't learn a water type move until level 25. Doesn't learn a 3rd move until 18!

Ran through the Cave and crushed team rocket after being defeated due to a first-hit poison attack from Ekans.

Walked all over Blue, the Nugget Bridge, and Misty like they were made of nothing. Also used the TM that Misty gave up to enhance my moveset a bit. Stupidly removed Tackle /facepalm.

Again, absolutely destroyed my rival and everyone on the S.S. Anne. (I've forgotton how OP moves like Clamp were back in the day!)

Beat Lt. Surge after getting demolished by a Thunderbolt the first time. Clamp saved me, to be sure.

Swept through the Rocket Hideout at Celadon Game Corner like a monsoon.

Destroyed Blue (again)

Finally got Lapras at the Silph Co. building! Woo!

After a heavy 30-ish minute training session, Lapras was ready to take on Sabrina and her trainers. Soon afterwards, I took on the Fighting Dojo... that didn't go well for Lapras =(

Biked down to Koga and the Safari Zone to get Surf...

Surfed out to Seafoam Islands and found a Dewgong in my first 3 minutes there! What luck I have, eh?

Defeated Blain with Dewgong (barely). Got a tad bit lucky when his Arcanine missed that lst fire blast... (All my damage I took and my burn were from 1 Fire Blast o_o)

• It was smooth sailing from then on, as I cruised through Solaceon Town.
• In Veilstone, I crushed Maylene with Double-Edge and Earthquake.

Finally finished off the Elite Four! Woo!

After getting through Victory Road, I grabbed a few Revives and Full Restores, then went at it! Lorelei gave me early trouble (stupid slowbro walled all my damage with 3 amnesias the first time) and I lost once. Came back and 1 shot her slowbro with Solarbeam from Lapras.

Now this is the one I was worried about: A team of Ice types vs a team of fighting types. Thankfully, my Cloyster/Lapras 1 shot just about everything in their way, with the exception of Machamp.

Agatha was a pushover: All of her Ghost types quickly fell to my Lapras and it's Psychic.

This is the one I was waiting for: A fight against dragons. After teaching Blizzard to my Cloyster, I swept over everything in my path. The only damage I took was from Aerodactyl.

Wiped Blue's entire team in once shot... Except Jolteon. Jolteon 1 shot Dewgong with Thunder, then killed Lapras in 2 turns with Thunder. Thankfully, my Cloyster was able to withstand one thunder and hit it with a Blizzard, dropping it fast.

And that's it! Now I'm moving on to Crystal!

This time ill be doing all regions with dragon types, excluding the kanto, I always get horribly lost in the rocket hideout in the game corner, I got through once, and only once.
But ill be playing on these games: HeartGold,LeafGreen,Ruby,Diamond,Black.
Ill be using Dragon Types, obviosly. (Maybe not, but I love Dragon types. :) )
And one question, if you cant get the pokemon you need as your starter until after you beat the E4, could you hack it in?

• Caught Rhino the Rhyhorn on the way to Pastoria.
• Trained her up, then took on Wake.
• Boulder beat him after many resets - Double-Edge 2HKOed Gyarados, then I switched her out (Intimidate) and back in, then Rock Polish + Earthquake for Quagsire, and Earthquake OHKOed Floatzel.
• Went up to Celestic, beat Cyrus, and got Surf. I evolved Boulder into Golem around here.
• Surfed down around Pal Park and caught Petro the Sudowoodo.
• Petro relearned Wood Hammer! Plus Rock Head = WIN.
• Trained Petro up, then went to Canalave City.
• Rhino evolved into Rhydon in Iron Island.
• Beat Byron pretty easily with Rhino with some healing help - Dig OHKOed Magneton and 2HKOed Steelix, then Hammer Arm OHKOed Bastidoon.
• Beat Saturn and Mars at the lakes, then trudged to Snowpoint City.
• Petro swept Candice - Rock Slide for Sneasel and Abomasnow, Wood Hammer for Piloswine, then Sucker Punched Froslass to win.
• Currently saved in Veilstone City.

Another huge update from me: I had a lot of free time recently XD

Okay, so first off: I forgot to do many screen shots until about 3/4 of the way to the Elite Four, so bear with me here...

So I started off with Cyndaquil to give my rival a chance with my team (do you see a recurring pattern here?) Walked up to Mr. Pokemon, etc. etc. Traded over my Smoochum egg and ran around in circles until it hatched. I named her Kissy Face.

After a slight training session for Kissy Face to catch up, I ran towards Violet City to destroy Falkner, my rival Silver (I know, I'm not creative with rival names. Sue me) and knock down the Sprout Tower.

After getting through Union Cave (and catching an HM pokemon, Sandshrew), I made it to Azalea Town and Challenged Bugsy after defeating Team Rocket.

Bugsy almost beat Kissy Face (who had evolved to Jynx about halfway through Team Rocket) with Scyther. Fury Cutter hurts >_<

I taught Sandshrew Cut and proceeded to hack my way through the forest to eventually com upon Goldenrod City. I ran straight to the Radio Tower to go get gym leader Whitney and challenge her. Kissy Face then swept her entire team with Confusion.

After getting to Ectruteak City, I challened the Kimono Girls and thoroughly defeated them, although Flareon gave me a bit of trouble. Afterwards, I trucked to the Burned Tower and found Silver. At this point, his Croconaw had learned Bite, so that was a painful experience to go through: I nearly lost. Kissy face hit him with the final Confusion when she was at 3 health! After releasing the Legendary Dogs, I challenged Morty, which was easy-peasy due to him only having Ghost/Poison types (yay, 4x weakness!)

After this, I ran straight to Olivine City, picked up a Good Rod, and fished my heart out until I found Clammy the Shellder.

After challenging all the trainers I could find and having a rigorous training session for Clammy, I went and challenged Chuck, the Fighting Pokemon Leader at Cianwood after talking to Jasmine about getting the medicine. I soon realizd how bad of an idea this was after fighting a trainer in said gym and getting Clammy rockstomped by his Hitmonlee. So, after ANOTHER training session, Clammy went through Chuck's gym and held his own until his Poliwrath nearly 1-shot him =( nvertheless, Chuck was defeated by Kissy Face =)

After defeating Chuck, I went through Jasmine like she was nothing (although Clammy had a bit of trouble with the Magnemites). Clammy is nearly caught up with Kissy Face by now, although he is quit a bit weaker than she is due to his non-evolved form.

I then travled to Mahogany Town and quieted the Red Gyarados at the Lake of Rage and helped out Lance with the Pokemon Signal issue. Right after this, I ran aheda to catch some more Ice Types for my team...

Starting with Piggy the Swinub! Funny thing, he was the first pokemon I ran into (not a Zubat, what?!) in Ice Path.

Not long after I found Santa the Delibird. She was a rather difficult catch, to be sure...

So after dealing with all of that, I went back to Mahogany Town and challenged Bryce, which wasn't very difficult at all, surprisingly.

Right after this, I caught wind that I could catch a Lapras in Crystal on a Friday. So I traveled back to Union Cave (thankfully I did this at 12:02 in the morning!) and surfed my way to Lapras (Lvl 20) and caught her after about 15 Ultra Balls. I named her Nessie =)

On my way to the Dragon Leader Clair, Piggy volved into Piloswine, yay!

Clair wasn't too difficult, minus the fact that the majority of her pokemon knew Dragon Rage (ugh) and her Kingdra had defeated Clammy =/

On the way tot he Elite Four, I ran into Silver yet again, and yet again I swept his entire team minute Feraligatr which nearly got Kissy Face (again).

After thoroughly sweeping through the Elite Four (with the sole exception of Bruno, no surprise there!) I reached Lance, the Dragon Master. The funny thing was, the only pokemon that actually did any damage was his Gyarados. Kissy Face cleaned up everybody else with Ice Punch (that I had taught her before coming to the Elite Four).

Finally, Tully the Fisher called me back about finding a Water Stone (after the Elit Four, of course) so I could evolve Clammy into Cloyster =D

After finishing with them, I took the S.S. Anne (I think) to Kanto and immediately challenged Lt. Surge to a battle, which went REALLY well for Piggy whom I had taught Earthquake to (again, right before the Elite Four).

I completely forgot that i was doing this. Could I restart?
This time ill be doing all regions with dragon types, excluding the kanto, I always get horribly lost in the rocket hideout in the game corner, I got through once, and only once.
But ill be playing on these games: HeartGold,LeafGreen,Ruby,Diamond,Black.
Ill be using Dragon Types, obviosly. (Maybe not, but I love Dragon types. :) )
And one question, if you cant get the pokemon you need as your starter until after you beat the E4, could you hack it in?

You can't skip a region, and: You can hack in a single, low-leveled Pokemon thats available in the game before you finish the challenge (No using Kingdra in leafgreen and such)

For the UMC do we haz to go in order *cries*. I dont like order.. >_>. Sooo... Ill start with Pearl, and then start from the beginning if thats okay.

Ill be doing an Electric UMC then <3.

EDIT: I guess ill start from Gen I and go on.. Ill be doing Yellow, since theres like a nonexistent population of Electric types in Gen I besides Pikachu and Electabuzz and.. Magnemite? So, Pikachu,I CHOOSE YOU! Lol XD.
