I think im gonna start ultimate monotype challenge with Fighting type pokemon. So Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova with only fighting types.

I'm starting to realise it is getting harder using only Psy-types. Gen I was really really easy and also Gen II wasn't that hard, but Gen III had a lot of Dark types and also a Dark type and a Ghost type user in the elite four. And a champion using moslty Steel types isn't making it easier either...
Hopefully Gen IV will be better for the Psychics!
 
Major Sinnoh update!

Defeated the Sinnoh league so I'm going to give a quick overview of what happened:

I didn't think I'd ever love a defensive type Pokemon, but Bailey was a real winner for me this run. Absolute MVP! Also Marcella and Joey were alot better than I had expected. John and Kazza were strong as always, too bad I can't evolve Kazza... 'then he would be king!

That was fun! I think it's going to take a while for me to get through Unova, also a lot more school... Hoping to finish this challenge before the end of the month! I'm also wondering if anyone can tell me if I can use Darmanitan with the zen mode ability?

Im going to start monotype runs only on HeartGold since I rarely play it. After Ive done Ill just transfer it to my SoulSilver main. :}

So, I picked up my HG and the game named me Chase.
BTW its Fire type run for me this time.

  1. Picked Cyndaquil as starter.
  2. Went through the events.
  3. Got the PokeGear and headed to Violet City.
  4. Then I received a Slugma egg from Primo.
  5. I hatched it, and headed to the Gym.
  6. Dominated the gym and now heading up to Azelea Town.

Beat Pokemon Platinum for my Ice Monotype Challenge. Next up Unova in Pokemon VoltWhite! I've already started it and damn its challenging. :P

First Unova update

- Chose Oshawott (Wutt)
- Received Pansear
- Defeated the first gym with Wutt and Pansear
- Caught a Munna (Ginny)
- Defeated the Team Gaga grunts
- Caught a Woobat (Noushka)

My team:

Ginny the Munna lvl. 17

Noushka the Woobat lvl. 12 (just caught)

Wutt and Pansear the slaves (currently only Cut).

I hope I can finish this challenge soon, before Diablo III comes out....
 
I don't know if I've posted it in here, but I'm doing a water monorun on Emerald. I'll probably make it ultimate, but baby steps for right now.

Sorry for not asking for permision/posting about it but I did it over a long period of time, every once in a while I'd pick it up and play it. Because I didn't do the above I'd understand if you don't want to add me to people who completed challange.

I'm going to start a monotype bug (not sure which game yet) because monotype water was too easy. Wolfsbane just so you know Lotad is bad to start with but once he levels he's pretty good. For me he almost never died and could defeat almost anything (he wasn't weak against) but not fast at least and gl.

Going to do a champion run of Monotype Grass - starting with Pokemon Red, then HG, Emerald, Platinum and finally Black. I have my teams planned out too.

Venusaur, Vileplume, Parasect and Exeggutor.

My first update for my ultimate bug type challenge, i'm still on leafgreen.
Beat Brock with Butterfree's confusion, almost at least, onix one hitted it so beedrill windled the rest of onix's hp down. At Mt. Moon i got my 3rd party member paras. Misty was easy once beedrill learn twineedle, killed staru with butterfree's confusion and used beedrill's twineedle on starmite. Just got to 3rd gym and won easily, once again just used beedrill's twineedle and pwned all the electric type, good thing beedrills not part flying. Look at my sig for my team. Thanks for spending the time to read this :)

Edit 1:
Here's my 2nd update. Got throught dark cave which took a while. Named my butterfree "Belle" and my beedrill "Driller" (Ik im not very creative lol). Beat Erika easily, 2 psybeams took out Victreebel and Vileplume. Beat Tangela with 1 twineedle. Then afterwards i went to game center, bought 2500 coins, then got myself a Pinsir which i named "Pinch" lol.

If you read this please tell me because it's nice to kno that my posts are getting read because it doesnt seem like they are.
